Terrible, We had takeout from them and not only did they forget to put our dragon roll in the takeout bag, we later realized that they had even forgotten the chicken fried rice we ordered. They did nothing to make up for the mistakes and we had to wait another 20 minutes for the fried rice. This has happened a few times already and this was the last time I will be ordering from them. Go somewhere else on they key read more

This place is my family's default when we're too lazy to leave the key. The service is usually good, but last night our waitress was asleep. I am not into bashing so I will stop there. Anyways, from the sushi to the Thai dishes, it is all decent. However, I would not venture to say anything is delicious or divine and this is probably because they have so many offerings that specializing is not an option. read more

On a positive: very fast service and no wait for a table. (Of course there were only about 2 other tables occupied). Staff was friendly. Negatives: sashimi didn't taste as fresh as we would have liked. Not bad, but not really that good either. Dishes (plates) were pretty worn out. Some were chipped and seemed permanently stained. Ambiance was just off. I kind of like greenDay but really don't think this kind of music adds to that sushi zen atmosphere one generally looks for in a restaurant. I don't feel a need to go back. read more

We recently went for some sushi and had the most amazing experience! The sushi was some of the best we've ever had. I had the shrimp tempura roll, and my husband has the Boston and Dragon roll. We also had the spring rolls. Everything tasted fresh, the staff couldn't be nicer, and the service was great. We brought my 9 month old son and they made him plain steamed vegetables and he loved those too. Definitely going back! read more

My favorite sushi spot in Key Biscayne. Service is great. Nice decor inside. So many rolls to choose from. My favorite is the California Eel. read more

Usually the food is good! Specially the orange dragon roll is AMAZING! But the service is so bad or at least was.. I haven't gone back because I got tired of their Attitude.. Once a waiter basically screamed at me for telling her i didn't want a refill but changed my mind when she brought my friend her drink.. I told her to not serve me anymore.. So rude! The place is nice but nothing special and the prices are a bit ridiculous for some things once my friend spent 170$ just for a couple pieces of sashimi.. What.. read more

The female servant was unfriendly, as was the other servant at the time of our visit. We ordered shrimp tempura, and got shrimp and vegetable tempura instead, the servant insisted, it was shrimp tempura, although, there was only ONE shrimp and many vegetables. I can only guess what you get if you order the combination then?! The steak came well done instead of medium as we ordered. Again, the servant just went away from the table, no apology. We asked for the manager, but they said, he is not available... ?! We got the receipt with automatic gratitude of 15% already added. We will not visit the restaurant again and I suggest you do the same and eat somewhere else. read more

Clearly the best Sushi in South Florida. Have tried all the ones in Gables and the Beach, But Sushi.Siam on the Key is best, with excellent staff read more

While they have many examples of tasteful Asian culinary selections, they lack service orientation and accuracy. Last phone order they lost the order ticket and than sent me home with the wrong meals. Operationally improvement is required! read more

I have come here a couple of times when I am at the beaches out this way... And at one time it seems to be the only sushi spot around. Now, I have been to other locations and have found them to be rather limiting if you want traditional sushi. I might be mixing it up with another chain but I do seem to feel like in general this sushi place is way overpriced and trying too hard to be too creative with sushi in my opinion. So the last time I went here with a friend we had been at the beaches and we're tired and really wanted some sushi and we came here and this time instead of ordering sashimi we ordered some rolls... & I can tell you that it was probably one of the worst interpretations of spicy tuna I've ever had in my entire life. It was as if they use ketchup. & I eat sushi if those of you that follow me on Yelp no all the time. I've never had a worse sushi roll experience in here. And what made it even worse was that we shared our feedback discreetly with our server and he was really douchey quite frankly and if I recall he didn't even take it off of the bill. Like we actually had to ask for a manager to say that made us gag and we didn't eat it please remove the charge from the bill. Here is the other thing to consider when you go here... Which I do not understand and please note that I worked in restaurants for 10 years during high school and college so I have been there done that as a waitress hostess and you name it... They automatically add 15% gratuity even if you are a table of one. I think that is absurd and on top of their outrageously high prices it ends up being incredibly expensive. I'm certain that they're taking advantage of the fact that Biscayne Bay has quite a lot of resort guests and folks with money to spend but that is insane. I went there again recently after being at the beach just to get some sashimi and my bill for myself alone because it included the tip was over $50. That's even more expensive than I pay in LA. Ultimately I can tell you that aside from the bad bad sushi rolls that we had the other stuff we ordered sashimi and some seaweed salad and my friend had some Thai noodles the food was good... The service is a little bit like a cold shoulder... The restaurant is clean so it's not like someplace you want to avoid terribly but just know what you're getting into. read more

went to sushi siam for the first time today, the sushi was "alright" but not great. I ordered the spicy tuna roll which ended up being not spicy at all but sweet! I also ordered the JB roll salmon cream cheese and scallions that was good but that kind of hard to mess up. I ordered every thing take out so I couldn't go back to speak with them. When i dipped my first roll in what I thought would be soy sauce I was taken back to see that it was teriyaki sauce which was terrible with the sushi I ordered!!! and really who doesn't give you soy sauce. I will not be coming here again! read more

sashimi is ok and the chefs are fast. no "on the house" small snack to welcome you to the sushi bar while you wait.

Came here for lunch to get away from downtown Miami crowds. First impression: it smells like a janitor's closet with industrial/cheap cleaner. Not a clean smell, a chemical smell. Little details were off, too. For example, the door between the kitchen and dining room squeaks very loudly - why not put some WD40 on the door? Also, the menu I was handed had dried food on it. I don't understand why restaurant employees don't see/hear these types of flaws. The interior of the restaurant was pretty, but the music was too loud for how empty the place was, and competed with the tv blaring from the bar. The service was nice enough, and the food was very attractive (but fairly bland). It seems crazy-expensive for what it is - a glass of house wine is over $10. A noodle dish was about $16 even without meat. However, compared to the cramped, crazed lunch places downtown, I appreciated the fact that this place was a little more quiet and slow. I would not go here on a regular basis, but it's OK if you want a relatively relaxed quiet place to eat. read more

This used to be my favorite spot in key biscayne I ordered take out a lot and the girls at the register are great but the other night I dined in and the servers were super rude. They called over the manager and she was also rude and didn't speak English. Safe to say I will never come back to this place read more

Food was ok but the service was brutal. Not friendly and our server literally disappeared in the middle of our meal. Finally had to flag down a different server just to get our check!! Lots of other options in Key Biscayne that are a bit more customer friendly! read more

We are regular customers at this restaurant in which we go twice a month maybe more and this last weekend I'm surprised. I would never go there fried rice which my wife order was hard and she send it back and to me something strange and poor, only they brought it back probably overheated but in a microwave and a small portion that was probably the same Fried Rice returned. When you do not feel comfortable. No one came to apologize or make an offer or for something else and in opinion since my wife look for and talked to the manager she never approach us when that happened. My wife her if there is a new chef the manager answered was unbelievable she told my wife anytime they get back she will taste it and she thought that it was good, oh my God tell me is that is somebody sick or has the courage to say this please willing to taste the food that proves to me that something wrong that was the wrong answer my wife said OK and that's the end of that when I go in there but I still think. How can you get this answer that she's thinks everything she get back she will taste back. Crazy how about if the customer has infection diseases or neumonía. read more

I am appalled at the service that was displayed to my friend and I. We walked in on a Friday night at about 11:00 because everything else was closed in the shopping center. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and decided to get take out from this establishment. I was immediately treated like I wasn't supposed to walk into the restaurant or something. I asked the lady at the counter very politely if I was at the right place for takeout and she responded in a very rude way: "YEA this is takeout". She was beyond rude when I asked for an extra PLASTIC container that's worth about 0.00001 cents because my friend had to leave so I was going to give him his sushi separate. She looked at me like I was an idiot, and told me NO. You have to be kidding me. Don't get me wrong, the food was great, but this woman was absolutely terrible and should be fired or harshly reprimanded. If you're looking for a late night snack in Key Biscayne, this isn't your place unless you want to get treated terribly. read more
