I chose the spring roll, house salad and the Cali roll. I also ordered a fire roll which is typically on their revolving sushi bar. I just walked in at 4:01pm and I asked to be seated at a table for 1 so the waitress grabbed the nearest seat by the door and where all the customers walk in and have to walk around. When I told her I did not want to sit in that spot she proceeded to tell me that was the only place I could sit for happy hour. Loved that they had so many options on the "train" but kept having to look at the menu to see what it was ... and then it was too late and I had to wait for it to come back. I seriously love this place. I recently tried this place a week back because I really like to eat at revolving sushi bars since you have a much wider selection. The parking is ample and the staff are incredibly friendly to you. They also explain things to you if it's your first time, although it is pretty simple. I liked that I was able to also easily order anything I wanted on the menu if I didn't see it on the belt. The fish tasted pretty fresh although the salmon that day was a bit of a different texture than I am used to. However you truly cannot beat their prices. I was able to eat my fill of sushi and desserts for only 17 dollars which gave me around 20+ pieces of sushi and also some nigarri. I would highly recommend this place for sushi lovers during lunch. The special is also the best time to take advantage of the more interesting flavor combinations. read more

Came in on a Wednesday night around 6. There were two other tables occupied otherwise the place was empty. I was seated at the bar by myself. Pepsi products and no Diet Coke. Diet Pepsi isn't an option (because eww). So I went for iced tea. Sushi plates come by and you grab what you want. They have a happy hour from 3-6pm where all plates are $2. That's awesome. I came in at 5:50 so I got 10 minutes worth of time to eat at that price. I had three plates. The rest I paid regular price for. Each plate is between $2-$4.50. So not expensive either way at anytime. The seaweed salad was fine. The sushi was okay. This kind of place better with more people as the sushi isn't rotating all around for long periods of time. It's more freshly made. They use a lot of Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce which is gross on sushi. Not sure why they do that. Rolls were uninspired and not exciting or anything noteworthy. It was cheap. $25 for essentially whatever I wanted, but they just didn't have stuff that I was excited by, nothing spicy, nothing with variety. It was all California rolls with a bit of tuna on top or some variation like that. Too bad. It was awkward being the only guy there after the two tables left. I was seated right by the hostess/busser station so I just sat and heard the two ladies whispering to one another while I ate. I've been to other revolving sushi places I like a lot more. I've been to this spot 2 times and I loved it. This place is amazing with kind staff members and they gave excellent social distancing rules and the food is always delicious and fresh. I've been coming here since it opened. It's always been a nice,clean place to eat. The sushi is good for the price. It seems though the past couple of times I've been in, I've had some issues. Last week I came in and wanted my stamp card stamped after my friend and I finished happy hour. This has never been an issue before but that day I was told it couldn't be stamped during happy hour. Ok. Today I went in solo for happy hour and asked for a booth. They refused! They said booths were reserved for 2 or more people. I can understand that if the restaurant wasn't COMPLETELY EMPTY(see picture). The sushi selection this day was limited at best. To be honest I'll probably be back just for the cheap sushi but there's another rotating sushi place opening soon on the other side of I10 and I'll probably start going there when it opens.
