This Sushi Sake is in Hialeah in a plaza where you can't miss it since they have a big sign. Came here with a friend after dance class on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all for lunch. Parking was a breeze in the plaza it was in, although the parking spots themselves were a little slim. Walking in, we were greeted right away and seated shortly after. The staff was all friendly and the service was super fast. The place itself was super clean and pretty large in comparison to a few other Sushi Sakes I've been to. The menu is pretty extensive so I took quite some time looking at it to decide what I wanted. I was trying to be a bit healthy but my options were pretty limited if I wanted to stay budget friendly. I ended up getting some a sashimi sampler and shared the dynamite appetizer. Both were decent but I do have to say, I have high expectations for the dynamite appetizer so my opinion may be a little skewed. The sashimi was fairly fresh but I wish they had other options for something with less rice on their menu. We also got drinks, the lychee martini and lychee sangria. Both were really good! Overall, it was a great experience and recommend if you're a fan of Sushi Sake and in the Hialeah area. read more

This is definitely one of the nicest Sushi Sake locations I have visited. They have a large dining area and very modern look and clean feel. The food across the board is consistent with the other Sushi Sake locations. Our group ordered a couple rolls, a hibachi dinner, some drinks, and dessert. The servers were nice but a bit slow despite there only being two other tables. There was a bit of an issue with the hibachi steak dinner in which it was not put in and didn't come out until everybody else finished eating. I understand it is a simple mistake but it did put a bit of a damper on the mood. However, besides that it was handled very well and everything tasted great. The presentation at this location stood out to me as I have not seen it at my local sushi sake which I really enjoyed! I also recommend their white sangria it was HUGE and very delicious. read more

This spot always hits the spot. If you like sushi then check them out. They're constantly having fun and trying new things with the food menu! I really like the Miami Heat roll and it's some thing I know I can't get anywhere else! The service was great. Our server was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable on Sushi and even giving great suggestions. They have a very big menu so be prepared to read and really find what you want but if you are stuck like me then at least you know, the service is nice enough and helpful enough. The ambience was really nice. I happen to eat outside which was still great. You can hear music which at times was a bit too loud but I completely understand you're trying to set a mood and a vibe. My shrimp tempura sushi also seemed rather small and again the shrimp tempura aspect was disappointing, it did not appear fresh. The plate was also rather messy. Love the food here! My person and I went by last Thursday and enjoyed three rolls of sushi and a hibachi chicken. Service was quick as we were one of two parties in the place at the time. Love how this location is very laid back, chill, and relaxing. If you sit inside this location is always particularly very cold inside. Sat outside and the service was great. Wasn't checked upon often and not forgotten as they do in other restaurants when you sit outside. The tuna I always super fresh. If you like tuna, try the tuna wontons they are delicious. read more

I'm finally made it on time for a Lunch review time for lunch!! And was so truly disappointed that the lunch menu prices were basically almost the same at the normal menu prices I come with my daughter she's my lil foodie I ended up basically ordering from the main menu I think the lunch should be priced lower and more affordable, I'm a single mom so these type of meals can be costly for me, the 3 stars is for this reason , aside from that the food was phenomenal we had the hibachi shrimp which my daughter loved the only thing is the shrimp and vegetables were cold I had to send it back so they can warm it up the vegetable fried rice was perfect , we ordered the dragon roll which is always a good choice we added the Miami roll because it is topped with Salmon which my daughter loves as well! I came to the grand opening for this location and let me tell you if this is an any indication of how this restaurant will continue on, then it's definitely worth coming to check out. The grand opening consisted of a Buffet of selected items in their menus, including some of their sushi rolls, appetizers, and their fried rice and of course they had the sauces to compliment them. They also had a few pop-up stands with sample cocktails, with one of them being the upcoming vodka brand from our Miami legend, pitbull. They had a stage and music playing all night from DJ Africa and DJ Laz. it was all complimentary and honestly I didn't know what to expect, but so glad that I went and had a great time with great food! The service when you go and sit is ok, they really don't come and check your drinks if they need to be filled you normally have to flag down the waiter. First time visiting in general, never eaten at sushi sake. The ambiance is very nice, restaurant is new but very clean and well kept. The food looked appetizing. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll, special fried rice and sake noodles with chicken. After a few bites of the rice my mom noticed something spiky and had to spit it out, some sort of wire was mixed into the rice. The manager was polite about it but it could've really harmed my mom if she swallowed it. The sushi was tasty and so were the noodles. I feel like the quantity of food is too little compared to the prices. Then when the bill came I wasn't charged what the menu stated the sushi says it's $12 but I was charged $13 and there was an automatic 18% gratuity charge for 2. It doesn't state that anywhere on the menu nor in the restaurant. I really wanted to have a wonder first experience but I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

As you come in, the first thing you see on the right is a beautifully decorated bar that entices you to sit and have a drink. We were sitted next to a huge Buddha that was just impressive. There is a Cherry Blossom tree that is just mesmerizing... The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. Her service was well beyond her duty. She was very pleasant, patient with our indecision, and a true hostess. She brought me a marvelous Piña Colada (Superb). Hats off to the bartender!! The food...what can I say...out of the ballpark!!!! The best JB Tempura I have ever had. The Wakame salad was also delicious. Let me start off by saying that our server was awesome and gave me and my friends amazing service, but the manager Julio is so disrespectful. I ordered a sushi roll (UM roll) not noticing that it contained raw salmon, since I didn't see it say anything about it being raw on the menu. So I called him over and kindly ask him if I can change it or send it back to the kitchen because I didn't realize that the sushi was raw And he told me in these words "it doesn't work like that they already made the sushi for you" so I told him what am I supposed to do with this then? I don't eat raw sushi and he told me "I'll do the FAVOR for you and switch it but next time you should really read the menu before you order something" like sir I'm not here trying to get a lecture from you. I made an honest mistake. It was so disrespectful the way he handled the situation. and it's just so disgusting to know that he's a MANAGER there. our server came back and apologized even though it wasn't his mistake it was mine, but still was totally nice about it changed it for me and asked if everything came out well when I got the new roll. The service here is absolutely phenomenal as is the atmosphere. In the past, I've been attended to by Julio, and he's always an absolute pleasure and a courteous host. The food is not only affordable, but delicious. And the happy hour specials are some of the best deals you'll find in the Hialeah Gardens area; drinks and food are both on special.
