The space is very unique but not good for big groups, definitely better for a date. The waiters were not very attentive, which was annoying when we needed utensils or water. I wish the menu had pictures because when the boats came by we just had to guess what type of roll it was. The rolls were all very basic in flavor.

Came in on a quiet Sunday night and had a good experience. The food was great and the sashimi was also pretty fresh, though thinly sliced. The rolls were great and everything was fairly priced. Great variety coming out and ordering à la carte is also an option. Music wasn't too loud at all and the servers were super friendly.

This is a local gem in North Miami, this cute little Sushi boat restaurant has amazing food and great service, just make sure you come early enough to secure a seat in this cute little resto. SUSHI GALORE, served in a floating g boat down a steady roundabout stream. Fun and brings back nostalgia with sushi places in Japan. You can either peruse the boats floating around, or order directly from the menu.

A cozy experience and grate place for a date night night. Plenty of seating around the food bar and table options on the side. Server was pretty efficient with our drink orders and if you order an item for yourself, the chefs are efficient in getting it to you. Lots of different options to pull from on the rotating belt and all of the food on a belt tasted fresh and delicious.

Such a cute date night spot! Our first experience here was great. Sushi was fresh, staff was attentive. Restaurant was cozy and gave off a romantic vibe. Will be back!

Neat place but pretty expensive... prices of the plates depends on the color of the plate. It could be anywhere from $4.50 to $11. It was a cool experience but i wish the plates were cheaper. I wasn't too happy about the freshness of the food they hand on the boats but at least you can order with a server. Servers were pretty nice but the just give you a 3 second figure it out instructions on how it works. You don't really know what you're getting since the physical menu they hand out doesn't really tell you what is inside if a roll. A cool trick is at least the person who was next to me was pretty friendly, she read me the ingredients from the online menu. Which I did not realize to do. But I feel like this should have been added to tell thier guests.

I ordered at 9pm. Got there at 9:15-9:20 Order name Alexis. I ordered food only because I was trying a too good to go bag. The too good to go bag was awful. Sushi was room temp. Tuna was DRY. The only thing edible was the avocado and rice. The additional order I placed was miso soup, JB tempura and a tuna poke. By the time I got home the tuna poke was warm. We live less than 10 min away. The miso soup is salty as hell. The JB tempura tastes like the oil it's fried in. When I called to complain, the lady stated oh you got a miso soup and JB tempura in the bag that's why tuna poke is warm, nothing is wrong with it. IF YOUR A SUSHI PLACE DEALING WITH RAW FOOD, WHY ARE YOU PUTTING WARM FOODS WITH RAW TOGETHER?! I tried to explain that to her and she wasn't getting it or being helpful so I hung up and decided a review was necessary. First and last time ordering from here. It might have been end of day, but that shouldn't change quality. I got there early and waited so it's not like they can say I picked it up late. Do better.

Some many different kinds of sushi to choose from and I love that a that they are on floating boats theme is so cute. It's quiet and I love the seating arrangements. The servers are nice and sweet and quick and they definitely know the menu to help you order. It was my first timing drinking sake and it was that strong and a bit sweet but i definitely it later lol

is this really a shrimp tempura roll topped with mayo and eel sauce ??? no !
    Ana L.

I ordered a shrimp tempura avocado roll for pick up I What O I ordered from the picture and what I got are two completely different things, there's not blend of spicy mayo and eel sauce which makes the best out of this, how horrible, no love into this 17.00 dlls 9 mini pieces

Cute little sushi restaurant with boats that float past you on a small waterway. I came here for the first time for lunch with my sons. We had a lot of great sushi plates! One of my sons had the miso soup. I had a glass of wine. My other son had a Ramune. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed it. The bill was about $100 for the three of us. Not bad for such a quality restaurant. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.

This place has a cool sushi river where boats bring you your sushi which I love but I wish they had better quality sushi, was so so quality, Tokyo Tuna is way better!

This is a quaint sushi bar with boats similar to Katana. The service is very attentive and friendly. Great salmon and hamachi, but the tuna in the poke was disappointing, it did not have any taste. The prices are reasonable, and it's a good place to dine solo.. just have to improve the quality of the tuna.

Easy parking in the lot - very well-lit as well. Im sorry to say I was not impressed - I really wanted to like it and have another sushi option for my weekly fish dinner--- ordered tea, and ate like 4 plates before my tea even made an entrance. They changed the pricing - and it was easy to hit 30 bucks with 4 plates. The portions were small and nothing innovative. I ended up closing the tab and leaving to go have dinner elsewhere - we were just not going to be full and would need to spend so much more to get there.

We started with the hamachi, which was beautifully balanced with truffle-ponzu, jalapeño, wakame, cucumber, carrots, masago, and just the right touch of heat. The spicy edamame with chili garlic sauce was addictive and came out hot and perfectly seasoned. For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy Joy (shrimp tempura, chopped crabstick, tempura flakes, topped with avocado, yellow chili sauce, and eel sauce), which had such a satisfying texture and flavor combo, and the spicy hamachi roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and well-executed without being overpowering. One of the surprises of the night was the salmon burger with fries -- genuinely so good. The salmon patty was juicy, the avocado portion was generous, and the dressing tied everything together really nicely. We also tried their ramen, which is new to the menu, and it did not disappoint. The broth was deeply flavorful and comforting, with a soft-boiled egg, edamame, and mushrooms. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. We finished with the biscoff cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and inviting, with a lovely outdoor patio option as well. Overall, this place feels like a true neighborhood gem -- great food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely be returning.

This has been one of my top go-to spots to bring my family, so it was disappointing to have a different experience this time. We ordered a variety of dishes, including some of our usual favorites. I got the spicy edamame, which unfortunately seemed a bit overcooked--the beans were much softer than I prefer. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that ended up being mostly breading with very little chicken inside. I also ordered my usual salmon teriyaki, but this time the sauce tasted overcooked, almost burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. I even had my daughter and her boyfriend try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and they both agreed. That said, not everything missed. The service was amazing. My daughter liked the miso soup. The Crunchy Joy roll (I believe that's the name) was very good, and the deep-fried pork gyoza was amazing as always. Overall, I was very disappointed since this place has consistently been one of my favorites. I'm hoping this was just an off day and that my next visit is back to the quality I'm used to. This is the reason for my three stars.

The service was great -- friendly, fast, and patient with my very serious happy hour ordering strategy. Food-wise, there were some real winners. The tuna quality is excellent (like, "I might start pretending I'm a sushi expert" level). The BBQ skewers were delicious, and the run rice was amazing. I would happily order those again and again. Now... not everything was love at first bite. The fried mushrooms and the chicken skewer just didn't do it for me. Not terrible, just not something I'd fight my friends over. Drinks during happy hour are good, but a little on the sweet side -- I had to double check there was actually alcohol in there. The watermelon drink is probably the best one, but definitely ask for low sugar unless you want dessert in a glass. Miami sushi will never be New York, San Francisco, or Japan, let's be real, but this is easily top three sushi in all of Miami for me. The key is non-negotiable, sit at the bar and do the omakase experience. They offer omakase at $50, $70 and $90-ish dollars, which is kind of wild when you consider the quality, the pacing, and how much food you're actually getting. Every piece is thoughtful, beautifully composed, and genuinely exciting to eat. Yes, a few bites lean a little saucy, that's my only critique, but the quality of the fish itself is insane, clean, fresh, and handled with real respect. I believe some of the owners are Peruvian, and you can feel that influence in the flavors and the way the dishes are presented. It adds personality without overpowering the fish, which is exactly how it should be. The experience overall is a straight 10 out of 10. If you keep kosher or avoid shellfish, this place deserves extra love because they offer kosher-style selections that don't feel like an afterthought, which is huge and honestly rare. That alone makes it a standout. One tip I'll give you, and this is important, sit at the bar and do the omakase. I can't really vouch for the rest of the menu, though I'm assuming it's solid, but the bar experience is where the magic happens. Right now, nothing compares to omakase here at this price point. Blind Tiger is special, and I'm saying that knowing full well I might regret exposing it.

Started with what I would consider sushi appetizers before the nigiri. I felt they were relying more on sauces in those dishes- but still solid. My favorite was the "tower" that had a cucumber base, nice chunks of avocado, topped with raw fish. There was a nice Unami flavor with truffle. Truly amazing. The nigiri was fresh- with some fish being preferred over others. Also, they had soy sauce on side so you could add the amount you want. Overall all the nigiri was good except for the shrimp Was my least favorite out of them all. However, I enjoyed each nigiri and trying fish I don't usually get. The last Sushi item was a hand roll. They then served miso soup which I thought was out of place in terms of order. Maybe should have been served first. The dessert in my opinion wasn't good and seemed store bought. In their defense, I am not much of a sweet person. I would have much rather had another sushi dish. However, one thing to note is that with the dessert - they did not give all parties the same type of treats. Therefore, we were a little disappointed when we didn't get the fruit tart and the chocolate macaroon. For drink I got a Japanese vodka drink (can't remember the name) that had a hint of wasabi. Wasn't spicy but you could taste it. The passion fruit mojito was so much better though and actually was part of the main restaurant. Servers were nice! Ambiance was really peaceful and cozy vibe. Sat at the counter thinking we would be able to watch the sushi chefs but instead just saw their heads. Would have been nice otherwise.
