I purchased my meal through Uber. I ordered the chicken yakisoba noodles and a sushi dragon roll. The noodles alone were delicious. However, you can tell the chicken wasn't cooked with the noodles and was just added on top. The chicken was bland, didn't have the noodle's sauce flavor and was very dry like cardboard. The noodle portion size was also very small for $24. The sushi was alright, nothing to rave about. It was of good quality and arrived fresh. I rarely write negative Yelp reviews, especially for a neighborhood restaurant that I frequent. The last time we visited, I spoke with the server about our concerns, but it was mostly met with excuses. I didn't want to ruin my meal, and I was not looking for a free meal or anything taken off the bill. I simply want the food to be consistent every time I visit, whether it's a Saturday evening, Monday afternoon, or Wednesday night. I even called the restaurant to ask for the owner's email or to see if the owner could call me back. I was told to call back at two different times. The first time, I was told the owner was not there and to call back the next day at noon. The second time, no one answered the phone. They can definitely do better when it comes to communication and customer service. I'm not here to badmouth the restaurant, but the quality and service are inconsistent during the week compared to weekends or happy hour. Both times I ordered on Wednesdays -- whether takeout or dining in -- the food was noticeably different. One time, I ordered sushi to go, and the rice in the roll was mushy in some areas and hard in others. Then, two weeks later, on another Wednesday, we went to the restaurant and ordered ramen. The ramen was nothing like what we had experienced there before. It had very few noodles, mostly dark brown broth, and it was served with lemon on the side. It honestly did not taste Asian at all; it tasted more like a broth made from flavor cubes. I also ordered a ceviche roll that was served on a dessert plate. The roll took up the entire plate, and I had to carefully maneuver it so it wouldn't fall onto the table. The sauce on the roll was brown and tasted more like teriyaki sauce than eel sauce. When we asked the server about it, we were told it was made in-house and can vary, but "it's usually like this." As regular customers, we know that is not how it normally tastes. Unfortunately, because of these experiences, I no longer feel confident spending my money at an establishment where the food and service are inconsistent. I do enjoy their rolls, which is why this is disappointing. I tried expressing my concerns directly instead of posting publicly, but I felt dismissed with excuses rather than solutions. The previous time I visited, I was told to let the server know if there were issues the next time. We did mention both the eel sauce and the soup, explaining that it did not taste like what we usually receive, but again, it was met with excuses. I've also never seen ramen served with lemon on the side before, nor had they ever served it to us that way. I wasn't asking for anything to be removed from the check. I paid and tipped as I normally do. I simply expect consistent food and service for the price being charged. Be cautious when visiting this establishment during the week. read more

Sushi Bombs really is the bomb! I placed an Uber Eats order and tried the Lava Roll and the Torpedo Roll, and wow! These rolls were on another level! I haven't had sushi this good in a while; every bite was exploding with flavor (pun totally intended)! The balance of texture and taste made each roll feel like a little trip to sushi heaven! Came here today after seeing an advertisement on Instagram and I am ready to go back. We went in for lunch around 1pm and they have a good lunch menu where you can try multiple rolls for a set price. They also offer an happy hour from 4-7 m-f so I will be back to try that. I chose the El Macho roll which had lean, salmon and was covered with avocado as well as garlic tempura shrimp tossed in a sweet and salty sauce. We tried the JB roll, an umi roll which had Jean, white fish, tuna and salmon, and a spicy salmon roll as well as steak fried rice. The lunch combos come with soup and a drink for around $13. We stumbled upon this restaurant in the search for a sushi place that we haven't tried yet. We live in Miramar so it's not very far to hop over into Miami Lakes. When we arrived the parking lot was packed. There's a lot of restaurants and a Winn Dixie in the plaza. Luckily there was no wait sushi bomb (it was around 6:30p on a Saturday night) We were seated in the booth and they advised us they their internet was down and they were only accepting cash at the moment, which was fine. I glanced at their take out area and they had tons and tons of bags ready to go out. Great for them! Their menu was accessible through QR code, like many other places. Off the bat we ordered our kids the chicken teriyaki from the kids menu ($10.50) and comes with a drink. The portion was pretty good. I have two little ones and they were able to share and it was just enough. Me and my husband each got a roll, he got the island roll while I got the red tail roll. Both were really tasty but the sauces do help bring out the flavor. The presentation was beautiful as well. Our server was an Asian woman, she was super sweet, checked on us frequently and provided great customer service. I highly recommend visiting Sushi Bomb if you're in the area. read more

Good spot for some sushi. The rolls are generous and priced fair for the amount and size (10 piece and big). The rolls are flavorful and accompanied by great sauces. The server was friendly, attentive, prompt, and accommodating to my sushi requests (wanted the umi spicy sauce on the side). I was craving a roll that was made of purely raw fish yet was flavorful enough and the burning umi met all those expectations. It comes with avocado, giving it that hint of creaminess it needed. I asked for a side of eel sauce and man was I in sushi paradise. My bf got the flaming dragon and also loved it. If you love shrimp tempura inspired rolls, this is definitively one to try. I came on Tuesday night with my son and the place was packed! Prompt efficient service. We ordered two appetisers steamed prawn dumplings that were delicate and soft with a very sweet pleasant flavour, v nice. We ordered tempura prawns..nice crisp on the batter, however it was lacking seasoning and salt, bit still nice. For our mains we ordered hibachi chicken, which came with lovely moist brown rice with Tony chopped onion on. This was very nice and had a nice charred smokey element to it, which was a pleasant surprise. We also ordered the torpedo roll ( it arrived too early before we had finished our appetisers) which was lovely presented and very fresh with a sweetness to it, which I could not work out where it came from. There was no wasabi on the house, which o thought was very strange for a sushi establishment, so I missed that. However I have upgraded my precious star of three to a generous four. read more
