Well I ordered sushi and chop suey. The JB roll was good. The spicy tuna roll barely had tuna mostly rice and the chop suey was just chicken and mixed veggies, not the shredded veggies that are supposed to be in chop suey. Over all taste was ok but I won't be ordering from here again as it was a disappointment. It also took 2 hrs to deliver via Uber Eats due to the restaurant. read more

I absolutely love the sushi rolls from here, starting with the deep fried jb roll, Hialeah gardens roll, and rainbow roll, these are my top 3 picks. The service is fantastic, when you call over the phone they answer any question you have regarding the menu with a great attitude! You can finally sit down to eat instead of just take out!!!! No waiting to be sat down as we were the only ones there. But I do have to say food was made quick and they were very helpful in answering questions about the menu. The sushi even if it is made a specific way you can ask to cook or adjust the way it's prepped which was cool. My friend that was dining with me would have preferred the sushi to be small to be more bite size but it tasted good. I had the honey garlic chicken with fried rice meal and it was a good portion. I did wish that the meal came with soup but that's fine I'll order it in addition to the meal next time. Yes next time because this is definitely a place to come again. The dining room was basic and very clean and organized. Quiet was a good place to have lunch after being at busy loud work place. Solid prices. Originally trying to eat in Miami but parking was really rough at night in their downtown area. Really wanted sushi, but didn't want to break the bank. The sushi is definitely American-catered because many of their rolls are either cooked or contain cream cheese. However, that isn't a bad thing, but just a fyi. Never disappointed with Asian Gardens. Everything from the sushi, special fried rice, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, stir fry, and the list continues. Definitely one of the best sushi's restaurants in Hialeah Gardens,,, or probably this is the only Sushi joint in Hialeah Gardens. Either way it's up there. I've ordered takeout from here twice already (during Covid era) LOL it's always quick and efficient. I usually call to place my order and within 15 mins it's ready. They have the restaurant blocked off and only give you the meal at the entrance. Now I've only tried the shrimp tempura, the miso soup and vegetable spring rolls. The miso soup is delish, and it's a decent size. It's probably enough for two people. The sushi roll was really good with some spicy mayo and soy sauce. Sushi is yummy and very reasonably priced! Service is kind and fast. I have had the miami heat roll, dragon roll, the dumplings and crab rangoons. All good!! You can also order over the phone and just pay and pick up the food once you arrive which is very convenient to not wait long if there's a big wait. Ambience is calm and clean. Would recommend when craving sushi and don't really want a big fancy sushi restaurant that is overpriced for the same quality food. read more

Great sushi. Other than a few other spots, they have great sushi. Not a huge fan of a few of their traditional Chinese entrées and we get those at other local asian specialty restaurants. In fairness, very rarely does any one single place do everything on their menu in top -tier fashion. There used to be eat-in seating and service; however, not since COVID-19, and it has not gone back -- probato keep overhead down. However, they have been in business for years and have a regular customer base that would support a return to inside restaurant service. That being said, we are always happy to tip foe great table service. However, merely moving food from the cook line's cookware in the kitchen to a take-out package (and being charged separately for the take-out containers in addition to food) is not the same as table service. As a result, no table service results in no additional tip. It is a "tip" for extra work service, and that is not provided. It is not obligatory, so if a restaurant wants to nickle and dime their customers theyvwill lose them. This is essentially no different than a fast food restaurant. Pro tip to all restaurants: STOP with the automatic "guilt tipping screens" on the credit card pop up screens during card processing. This pisses off customers, just like charging for take out containers. You don't have dining room service so there is no additional costs for water, detergent, personnel staff and equipment to wash the dining room dishes; therefore, those previously accounted costs simply move over to the take-out container column in your accounting ledgers. Done. Follow that and you won't drove customers away. We found Shima and Mr. Lee's for our new go-to spots for Asian cuisine because they don't do those desperate up-chstge practices. Customers don't only decide based upon flavor; their wallets matter too. read more

For Miami, this place passes the test. But comparing it to other Chinese take outs I've been to across the country, it's just ordinary. Honey chicken, wonton soup & chop suey were ordered. White meat chicken was used, which was a major plus. Chop suey was ok. Wonton soup had nothing in it and only 6 wontons for the quart. The biggest "WTF" was because with 2 large dishes being shared by 3 people, Asian Gardens only gave me a small (less than a pint) rice. I can say with 100% certainty that I have only been shortened or been cheapened rice at a Chinese restaurant only once before in my life. The value if the food was great. $14 total for 2 lunch specials that are very filling. But overall pretty standard average food. The egg rolls were above standard and had a good flavor to it. Not insanely crispy but still had the right amount of crunch and was stuffed with happiness. The general tsos chicken was a little dry but overall not a meal, I did finish it. For the value it was great but I'd prefer an option to switch to white rice, brown rice, or noodles. I'm sure I could've added a side but the lunch special couldnt be changed and I get that, but had they offered the swap available for a dollar or two I would've taken the option. The pork fried rice was average to better than average though, not too oily and had plenty of onions which I prefer. First taste Friday. I looked for Chinese food as I was craving Asian, Thai or anything in that category and came across this one. Although there are several Asian food restaurants in my area, I think I've eaten at them all. So off to YELP I go. After reviewing several menus (choices choices) I kept returning to Asian Gardens. I ordered the spring rolls, dinner combination shrimp and broccoli (upgraded my rice to shrimp fried rice), special soup, Thai donuts and the dragon and Phoenix. The food was well seasoned and very tasty. The shrimp in the broccoli and the d&p were jumbo sized and cooked to perfection. Even with takeout the spring rolls were crunchy and delicious. My son said the egg roll was really good also. The only downside I had was there wasn't enough dip for the donuts and I had a few stragglers with not sweet creamy sauce to dip or rake them through. read more

Really good oriental food in the heart of Hialeah. Little shopping center with just a few businesses next to a gas station ... the place is super clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Waitress is super nice and friendly. Now... the most important part... food is very good. Sushi is fresh and tasty. The rolls are big and decorated as from the best restaurants in Miami. Miso soup is hot and delicious not salty like in many other places. Recently I tried here for the first time their sashimi and it was as fresh as can be. Again a big portion for the money. We used to go eat inside restaurant and oder takeout. Then they closed for a while, I believed new owners came on board. Then is a hit or miss with the food. There has been times when is been good, and others so bad like today's. The food is so salty I cannot eat it. The chop suey's sauce is so thick and dark. The fried rice is just salty, no flavor.
