miami heat roll and another roll i cant remember the name of lol

Sushi sake as a franchise is delicioussssssssnessssss. This sushi sake was particularly clean, the service was great. And i love the option to sit near their large windows to people watch while you eat! The waiter was nice and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious! My boyfriend and I always get two sushi rolls to share and its enough for the both of us as their servings are large. I know there are a lot of places to eat at the Mile, but if you want to be safe and enjoy a nice meal, stop hy this Sushi Sake! It never disappoints!

Sushi here was pretty good - ordered 4 rolls and it was more than enough for 2. The edamame with the spicy sauce is definitely worth trying. Sat outdoors so the ambiance was okay - ambiance inside was much better. Service was good too - no complaints there.

HOLLYWOOD ROLL

Lazy sushi and not as advertised. If I'm paying extra for a roll to have other things besides raw fish, the order needs to be completed as such.

Great food and nice CG place. Loud music with more eating and less talking. The best was the Beef tataki and UM roll.

I wanted my fried rice with no onions and it came out amazing. The food was great and the staff was phenomenal, starting with the hostess. I will definitely come back with my staff. J. Fabian @ MiamiFabian in IG

I have been coming to this Sushi Maki now for years. My go to dish is their Dragon Roll. Delish. The service is amazing when you get Leroy as your server. He is always attentive and courteous. Love this place!

The rolls disappeared so fast I didnt get pics! We go three rolls to share plus these two apps and everything was so good! Always fresh here. We sat at the cute tables in the back on the ground which was fun! My new fave roll is the tiger roll! Gotta try it!

Located in the heart of the bustling Miracle Mile, Sushi Sake is a gem that combines affordability with exceptional flavors. From their salads and sashimi to creative rolls and drinks, this restaurant offers a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine. We started our meal with the Bobby Salad, a MUST try. A spicy combination of diced tuna & avocado, & crab salad with a touch of sesame seeds & masago presented in a cup-like plate- the flavors really shine in your mouth. The sashimi sampler is a work of art. Fresh slices of tuna, wahoo, eel, salmon, and yellowtail melt in your mouth. Each piece is meticulously prepared, and super fresh. Must mention something for my beer lovers, if you like the usual Japanese beer suspects (Sapporo, Kirin, etc.) they had one from Japan I have never heard of called "Coedo", they actually carry four different beer styles from this brewery which I had never tried and I can only speak to the Black Lager- really, really good beer. I also enjoyed the Hollywood Roll, have always been a fan of simpler 'spicy tuna-like" rolls, just the right balance of tuna and rice, great flavor also. My wife enjoyed a few rolls of her own, and we wrapped up our meal with a "Watermelon Tea" that was super refreshing. Overall, the place had great ambiance, the location is unbeatable- have outdoor dining if you wish right on the mile, service was great, food was super fresh and tasty, and the prices were not outrageous. Would highly recommend, and wifey and I are definitely returning to this gem.

After a nice candle light concert we were walking back to the car & we're pretty hungry. Lucky us, there was a Sushi Sake right on the other side of the street so we decided to stop by. Since it was super nice out, we decided to go to outdoor dining. They have a great selection of drinks but we only wanted food this time. Most rolls were between $10-20 & they had good appetizer options. Service was super quick, everything we got was flavorful, crispy & warm. Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I try other things on the menu? You bet!

Two adults and two children entered the restaurant to eat some appetizers. When checking out, the bill showed that an 18% tip had been charged. The problem is that there is no notice in the store or on the menu, and no notice to inform customers. Is this only charged to us? We don't have a party of 5 or 6? I deeply feel that I am being treated unfairly and full of discrimination. I hope you can reply to me, strengthen the training of employees, and thank me for evaluating your employees for free.

Since my last horrible 2 star review of this place... I have gone back multiple times, and my experience each time has been undoubtably memorable, but because of one single person that always makes sure it is so. His name is Wesley. The man does it all, and as someone with 20+ years in the service industry who has held every position you can imagine, as well as managed multiple places, I can tell you that it PAYS to keep a person like Wesley around. He makes me the greatest cocktails each time I come by, and holds genuine, great conversations! He speaks in high regard of the company and is passionate about his job. Even coming with fun facts about how chopsticks are more developmental for the mind that western utensils as they require more coordination. I mean, come one! To me, experience is just that! I want to be hungry and thirsty and know I can come out of an eatery with more than just what I was looking for. Even a good laugh is worth spending a bit extra, on like tip per day. I just want to genuinely thank Wesley for always providing me the service that has allowed me to forget that one awful time, because o love this place and because of him I keep coming back.

Love the rolls here at sushi sake always made fresh. My top two are the dragon roll and the rainbow roll. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. Perfect location in miracle mile

Probably the worst service I've had in the Miami area. The server was extremely rude . Nobody didn't take care of with us , We had to ask the hostess for our water. Whenever we need water I had to go inside and ask for water she took our order never come back again ! Food comes out 25 min later . Restaurant was pretty empty. My favorite part was when she told me she can pay 12$ for me ! And it was hers mistake ! The waitress who doesn't know how to talk to customers should learn to explain the menu . We did not enjoy our food . They need to up the service game !

Our drink orders were taken immediately, which is always a plus and we heard all the racket about the blue crab croquetta's so we put that order in. We devoured those crunchy balls and anticipated our next appetizer, the Margherita pizza. It came bubbling hot, cheesy ,tasty and had the perfect crisp crunch. My mother chose the Miami Spice menu and shared her crispy rice salmon tartare. Im not a fan of crispy eice but this one I can order every time. The salmon and rice kusy complimented eachother so well.Every Our main dishes consisted of the vesuvio pasta, and the pan seared Barramundi. The fish was a render whitw fish with a sauce tnat was so liggt yet so flavorful. My favorite was the pasta. The meat cooked so tender and the pasta cooked to perfection, the mushrooms huge and tnat sauce. That sauce was life. It had a touch of aweetness tnat just complimented the whole dish. I was full but had to finish my bowl, it was that good. The dessert of choise was the vanilla ice cream with a gin, the toffee pudding which was extraordinary, and the chocolate cake. In the morning my wife had their "version of a pancake" which was very custardy in the middle and a bit strange but still good. You want to make a pancake where it is cooked on the outside and still soft on the inside? Sure, why not. Not our fave but the service and buildout were good and especially when we stuck with the more traditional fare, everything was delicious.

They have a huge drink selection and I think they are well priced despite it being The Biltmore. I got the Heartbreaker martini for $18 and it was so delicious! It was light and fruity, just what I was looking for. My husband got an espresso martini that was also delish. Our server left us to hang out but periodically checked on us. The service was efficient and friendly, Ken took great care of us and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The menu has a great variety and everything is beautifully presented. I started with the sweet-sauce chicken wings, perfectly crispy and full of flavor, followed by a round of tacos, some with beef, others with chicken, fresh and well balanced. I also had the chance to shake things up with an espresso martini or known as RumWake. It had all those rich coffee aromas and an interesting twist from a banana nut texture. It was good, but I still prefer the classic version. Their mojito, which I usually don't enjoy, totally surprised me, bright mint notes toned down the sweetness just right. At Mamey, they call it the "Mint Condition," and it's definitely worth a conditional try. The one drink I liked the least was the Serata, essentially an Aperol spritz with Asian gin blended with Prosecco. It felt watered down and the flavors just didn't come together for me. Overall, Mamey delivers a unique "island-minded" experience that blends flavors from the Caribbean, Asia, and Latin America. Between the beautiful setting, creative menu, great cocktails (with a couple of misses), and attentive service, it's a spot I'd come back to for both casual nights and special occasions.

We've come here a few times in recent weeks and the place is running nearly the same as it always has for at least a few decades, through changes in drag hosts, management and even changes to this venue's name over those years. We tend to come just before showtime so there's normally always a cover (worth it for the entertainment patrons get to see), friendly bartenders and a drag show featuring talented performers, with at least one normally interacting with patrons and doing comedy during a break in the performances, before opening up the floor for dancing once the show is complete. Azucar isn't located near much of anything else when it comes to nightlife, it's a bit divey - definitely nothing fancy or glamorous, and it's probably not worth the drive from the beach just to check it out, as at least one other reviewer mentioned. Also, all shows and entertainment, aside from lyrics to a few songs here and there are in Spanish with no English translation, so if you don't speak Spanish or have someone who can interpret at least some of the funniest bits that get the most laughs, you may not fully understand what's happening or may feel a bit left out. That said, if you're just looking for a solid drag show or appreciate Latin nightlife, this is definitely an option.
