We stopped in here for a couple drinks before going to see a Comedy Show around the corner last weekend. Our bartender was fabulous with his recommendations! We had saki and plum wine. We will definitely be back!

Newly opened location in the Las Colinas area where you can expect them to perfect the delivery of service and a few minor issues here and there; however the food was on point. We had one of the best meals here during our visit to Las Colinas for a work conference. The menu at Sushi Sakana focuses on traditional Japanese cuisine with a wide variety of options, from starters and rolls to entrees and bento boxes. Lobster Sushi Roll (5/5) - This is one of their cooked rolls which is a rich and luxurious combination, featuring grilled lobster, crabmeat along with fried tempura shrimp paired with a delicate citrus mayo and a sweet eel sauce. The texture contrast between the flavorful grilled lobster and crunch from the shrimp tempura made this roll a star! We thoroughly enjoy and highly recommend. Sashimi Bento Box (4/5) - This lunch special bento option offers a balanced and satisfying meal perfect for lunch. This sashimi bento features an assortment of fresh, high-quality tuna, salmon, and yellowtail and a few others which they did not introduce or call out when served. You can also choose 2 sides and we opted for vegetable tempura and California roll. Tempura was deep fried to perfection, however, the dipping sauce was missing so we had to ask for it. No problem there however, the dipping sauce wasn't all that great so we were a bit disappointed. The California roll was fresh and high quality. Their salad was great and we really liked their salad dressing. Shrimp Fried Rice (5/5) - this must have been one of the best shrimp fried rice I've had in my life. The wok cooked flavor fried rice and the grilled shrimp flavor really comes out in this dish. Well executed dish with generous amount of shrimps and not at all oily. I've been reminiscing about this meal and will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

The food was solid and the waiter was kind. I was going to go 4 stars because the price is kinda high - but it's at the Toyota music factory. That's what you should expect. 1 roll and a chicken curry with rice came to exactly $50 after tax and tip

Great sushi. Super fresh. Give them a try, be patient they are short staffed. The wait is worth it. We order sushi nachos it was awesome.

We first came a week before the grand opening and had amazing sushi and the waiter told us about the grand opening on Nov 1. He was so kind and attentive, and the food was amazing. We came again for the "grand opening" on November first, and we had the best time best time ever. The waitstaff was sooo kind and gave us free edamame and a specialty roll the chef made up. We got two bento boxes and I'm not joking when I say the tofu and vegetable bento boxes had the best tofu I've ever had as a self-proclaimed tofu connoisseur. It was so crispy and hard on the outside and had savory and soft tofu on the inside. I'll be dreaming about it until my next visit!

First of all, this is my first time tasting such fresh sashimi in this town. I think the biggest draw of this place is that they don't use frozen fish. The sashimi is clean and neatly prepared, and it's incredibly flavorful with best freshness. Also, we have tried a chilly shrimp menu, that dish is also tasteful than any other typical chinese restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and classy, and the friendly servers helped us for a satisfying lunch. I highly recommend it to everyone.

They have quite the menu and offerings but for my visits, I typically stick to their sushi menu. My go-to's have been avocado rolls and veggie rolls and they've always come out super fresh and fast, I also go with the seaweed salad and it barely beats the rolls coming out...I said fast! Each visit and order has been both delicious and filling without leaving me feeling lethargic or slow the rest of the day. Service has also been friendly and attentive to my needs, ensuring that I am satisfied and well taken care of. Short, sweet, and to the point: Little Katana has quickly found its way into my lunch time rotation and I quickly have made my way onto their list of regulars. See ya next time, Little Katana.

On my first trip, the restaurant was so busy there were only three open tables. The second time I went, I chose to go later in the afternoon on a weekday and my friend and I had the place almost completely to ourselves. The atmosphere is very nice here where I think it would be good for a small group or a date. It has the right balance between an intimate classy establishment and a casual meet up place for a few friends. I went around Christmas time and the decor was really cute and not overdone. The food was amazing, and I would say it was reasonably priced. My dad loves this place because of how healthy fish is and that he can eat it with his special diet plan due to medical reasons. I have also tried the crystal roll (no rice), eel, and tuna, all of which were amazing. I absolutely plan on visiting again.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about middle of the road, not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... HOWEVER, Sean, the owner of this branch, completely went out of his way to deliver it to our home instead due to DoorDash being unable to redeliver. The Ramen broth is simple; it's not a layering of deep flavors like those found in other ramen places, which leads me to wonder if it's made in-house or purchased. On this trip, we tried some of their chicken offerings. While the chicken bento and chicken Katsu were better than the Ramen and sushi, they still weren't amazing by any means. The staff are likely well-intentioned, but they really amplify the disappointment and create discomfort. The moment you sit, they hover, pressuring you to order while still scanning the menu. The room is cramped; tables are packed so tightly that shifting your chair risks bumping the diner behind you. This is semi-acceptable if the place is packed, but it's not. The waitress insists on putting people next to each other instead of spreading them out a bit. At one point I briefly sat on the bench to help my child and the waitress took my chair away, it was uncomfortable and just odd to put it mildly. Recommend immediate staff training and professional assistance with dining layout to maximize seating while ensuring guest comfort.
