I come here once a week whenever I want a quick and healthy lunch. The staff is friendly, fast and the food is great! The fish are fresh and the bowl is enough to fill me up. I usually get the salmon and tuna combo poke bowl. There is a self serve counter for extra condiments and the sriracha mayo is great with the poke. It is about $10 for the combo. They have a frequent customer card for people like me. You earn a free bowl after 10 bowls. If you come in on Friday, it is double stamp day. On Tuesday, it is buy one bowl and get the 2nd bowl at 50% off. For frequent customers like me, it makes going out much more affordable. They have added ramen to the menu but I don't have any opinion on that since I am on a low carb diet. read more

Truly a standout in Irving. Immediately became one of my favorite lunch options in Irving - fast, fresh and delicious. Honestly shocked by how fresh and delicious everything was. The mango was super sweet, salmon and tuna was super fresh and well-flavored, tobiko on top was amazing, and avocado was nice and buttery. Everything came together super well. Far and away better than any other poke options in the area. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and fast, making it great spot for large group lunch orders. I'm so excited they finally opened! Don't depend on the website to be accurate (they no longer offer rolls) which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Aside from the website I was pleased with my first visit. I came in for a to-go order and made my own bowl. They have the usual offerings so I was able to make a bowl I knew I'd enjoy (spicy tuna, salmon, regular tuna, avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onion, furikake, cucumber, green onion, sesame seeds). I read some reviews (after the fact) talking about how little avocado you get for the additional $1 charge. I agree; however, I also know the price charged to restauranteurs for avocados so I wasn't going to pick a bone about it. The cucumbers were not as crunchy as I like but they weren't bad either. I believe they are marinated slightly so I could have asked before adding it to my order. The sauces for topping are wasibi aioli, spicy mayo, eel, and soy sauce. They are available at a self service station which I appreciate because I like to choose how much to put in. Since this location is about 5 minutes from my office I'm sure I'll be back for the convenience factor. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have known about it. It's tucked in a shopping center with multiple restaurants. You can't see if from the street so look for the Salsas restaurant then drive to the opposite end of that building. read more

I cant get over how amazing these poke bowls were! So fresh and full of flavor. You can customize your own which I loved! The employee even told us that he would give us a scoop of avocado for free! It was my first time visiting the Irving C Bowls poke. Just like the Midway location, they are following COVID protocols. Either you fill out a card and give it to the person working the register, or you scan the QR code and order and pay through their site. This location offers more appetizers than the other location. I got a MYOB and a shrimp tempura appetizer to go. The bowl seemed rather large compared to other poke places. I was a little put off that the poke bowl was packed in a styrofoam container for to go. The other location has nice, plastic to go bowls. That option would seem to be easier to control portions, but to each their own! Ordering was easy and seamless. And my shrimp tempura was still crispy and hot when I got to my destination. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. I hope more people will consider this place for a lunch option in Irving. read more

A-OK! I like this, we tried this place out based on a friend's recommendation and although it was good I don't think it was above average for poke bowl. When we entered the girl behind the bar didn't greet us nor acknowledge us, it wasn't a bog deal but it wasn't welcoming. We placed our order and waited for it to get made, we also ordered some edamame. The bowls tasted good but the edamame had a rubby texture much like they microwaved it. I really hope it wasn't microwaved but I would not be shocked to find out if it was. I go to Cbowls Poke as often as I can, because I LOVE poke. I'm such a fan of the cuisine that I've become pretty picky about it. Nothing is worse than having an intense poke craving and getting a bowl with bad flavor, or little meat to it. After finding this place though I will never go anywhere else for Poke unless I have to. The price is GREAT for the amount of food that you get, and I can almost never finish the bowl. It's actually a LOT of good ingredients, unlike some places that just load the bowl with rice to avoid giving you as much of the good stuff. The fish is always incredibly fresh, and their toppings options have everything that I need. I've taken multiple coworkers here and gotten them all addicted as well, so it's a favorite for a lunchtime stop. They kind of overfill the bowls with stuff so I'd actually recommend getting no lettuce or just lettuce or just rice in order to have space to mix up the bowl properly. I've tried many Poke' places in the Dallas metroplex and Cbowl is top of it's class. Their variety of protein is unseen compared to other Poke' spots. They offer all the sushi fishes along with, shrimp, (unagi) eel, and even chicken. Their veggies are always fresh and the portion is great. I would recommend not adding a base sauce because it could be a little over powering, but next to heir fountain drinks is an assortment of sauces you get to choose from. Their fish is always fresh and doesn't have that "fishy" taste, their veggies and avocados are always ripe, and the service is always kind and quick. Take a order form, fill it with your options, bring the form and pay the cashier while they make your order. During peak hours, parking can be a challenge. Next door is a salad place. The ingredients are fresh and there is absolutely nothing unhealthy on the menu. And if you're low-carbing it, you can choose lettuce or kale as your base instead of white or brown rice. Ehhhhhhh. I love the concept and the actual place, but taste wise, I had better. I've gave this place 3 tries before I ended up writing this review. I really wanted to like it since it's by my job. The artwork of poke looks simple but really, it's challenging to perfect. Everything put together doesn't give me a wow sense. Either the rice has too much vinegar or some sauces are too sour. Something is off. I've tried different signature bowls and also made myself one... I usually buy 2 bowls (1 for now and the other for later) because..... your girl knows how to eat hahah. I've tried so many poke places and this is my favorite one! Poke is my all time fav lunch and they absolutely nailed it. Healthy and made to order, I haven't found a better place to beat the deliciously fresh ingredients or their large portion size. I ordered the large tuna and salmon as my protein and the salmon with ponzu sauce just completely melted in my mouth. I usually build my own bowl but their signature mixed bowls offer plenty of variety. I'm excited to try the other proteins and some other sauces they have here (Bonus: the side sauce bar also let me add to my mix as much as I want!) I'm so happy they opened this location next to my work, I'll definitely be back here all the time. Love this place! We've been twice and really enjoy it. The bowls are super fresh, I make my own and my husband orders one of the recommended bowls. You can choose your protein, cooked or raw, and there are lots of mix-ins like corn, green onions, jalapenos, edamame, etc. The spicy garlic ponzu sauce is AMAZING but the garlic will stay with you! You select your bowl on a piece of paper and they call you to the counter once it's ready. Service is fast and friendly and they have fountain drinks, tea, and some fun Japanese drinks, coconut water and aloe vera juice. They have Asian pop music videos playing on the tv which is entertaining and lends to the atmosphere. Overall there's a modern, clean vibe and the food is so good! Filling, fresh, and healthy.
