I did a take out delivery order and it came very fresh. I liked the dragon roll more than the big papa roll but both are delicious. The dumplings were also yummy and the seaweed salad was a huge portion. Food looked great, good prices, good taste, can't go wrong.

Everything was pretty good and fresh. I definitely could've done without the mini salad they added but it's cool. I'll definitely go back.

I think I found my new chill sushi spot! After moving here from the West Coast, I have not been able to find good seafood or sushi that tastes fresh. Came here with my friend for our lunch break. Service was friendly and fast. We got sushi combos with miso soup , two different rolls , a side salad , gyoza , and an eggroll for only $14 . Our orders literally came out in five minutes . I didn't expect much since I have not had decent sushi in Texas but I was pleasantly surprised. This is definitely a good spot for a quick lunch and their hours are flexible. Can't wait to come back !

I love this place! Great service, excellent quality, and delicious! I recommend the poke bowl with tuna and salmon!

My go to spot for dinner if staying at the element. It's a two minute walk. When I come here, I always try new things and I'm never disappointed. The miso soup was really flavorful and delicious. I got two sushi rolls this time. They come with a pink ginger, which is really interesting. I got a pepper seared tuna and salmon roll which was delicious. And then I got a spicy tuna roll, which was so flavor packed. I got the Crazy Roll and Hungry Roll. The staff are really friendly. The rolls are a pretty decent size and very filling. They give ample soy sauce and wasabi.

I was recommended this place by a co worker and I'm glad I checked it out. Went during lunch so it was takeout but was greeted by the manager (I'm gonna assume) and was very welcoming. Very clean inside and it didn't take long for my role to come out. I ordered the midway role and it was very good. Very fresh. This probably will be my go to sushi spot when I'm at work. Must try and go check it out.

This place is another Great Yelp find. Staff super friendly and the owner is helpful and polite. Food was amazing and priced inexpensive. If your dining in they give you free Miso soup and that alone hits the spot. Do your self a favor and check this please out.

Chicken Ramen

A nice, cozy restaurant with some good food. I had the spicy chicken ramen, which included onions, mushrooms, crispy onions, Japanese pickles, and green onions. For $3.00 extra, I got 4 pieces of California rolls, an egg roll and a potsticker. You really can't beat the price. Literally, everything was flavorful and fresh. As a first-timer, I was sold on the food and the service was great!

CBowls changed their name to Sushipoki. Still seems to be owned by the same person. Service was great like before. I would say I preferred the poke bar. I tried the tuna tower and the spicy salmon roll. The tuna tower was decent. The spicy salmon roll was slimy and stuck to sides of my mouth. Had to spit it out. First bad experience here. Maybe just a bad day...idk.

Was craving poke before work so stopped by here real quick for to go. My order was ready in 2 minutes (maybe less to be honest)! The cashier was the owner I think and he was very nice and informative of his items since I have a sesame allergy. I got the first bowl option with fresh salmon, only realizing once I sat down that there were build you own bowl papers at the front tables My bowl was okay, only because I chose the only one I saw with raw salmon since it's my favorite and I was in a rush, so the other stuff in there wasn't my first choice haha but that's my fault. I'll definitely return to try a build your own bowl option because the salmon was so nice and fresh! I wished there has been a bit more, but I always do with raw salmon since it's so good. Place was empty when I stopped by around 3pm, probably since they close at 4pm. Give this place a try, the salmon itself is worth it

The food is good, not great. It's overpriced in my opinion for the quality, but the staff was very friendly!

They have quite the menu and offerings but for my visits, I typically stick to their sushi menu. My go-to's have been avocado rolls and veggie rolls and they've always come out super fresh and fast, I also go with the seaweed salad and it barely beats the rolls coming out...I said fast! Each visit and order has been both delicious and filling without leaving me feeling lethargic or slow the rest of the day. Service has also been friendly and attentive to my needs, ensuring that I am satisfied and well taken care of. Short, sweet, and to the point: Little Katana has quickly found its way into my lunch time rotation and I quickly have made my way onto their list of regulars. See ya next time, Little Katana.

On my first trip, the restaurant was so busy there were only three open tables. The second time I went, I chose to go later in the afternoon on a weekday and my friend and I had the place almost completely to ourselves. The atmosphere is very nice here where I think it would be good for a small group or a date. It has the right balance between an intimate classy establishment and a casual meet up place for a few friends. I went around Christmas time and the decor was really cute and not overdone. The food was amazing, and I would say it was reasonably priced. My dad loves this place because of how healthy fish is and that he can eat it with his special diet plan due to medical reasons. I have also tried the crystal roll (no rice), eel, and tuna, all of which were amazing. I absolutely plan on visiting again.

The Ramen broth is simple; it's not a layering of deep flavors like those found in other ramen places, which leads me to wonder if it's made in-house or purchased. On this trip, we tried some of their chicken offerings. While the chicken bento and chicken Katsu were better than the Ramen and sushi, they still weren't amazing by any means. The staff are likely well-intentioned, but they really amplify the disappointment and create discomfort. The moment you sit, they hover, pressuring you to order while still scanning the menu. The room is cramped; tables are packed so tightly that shifting your chair risks bumping the diner behind you. This is semi-acceptable if the place is packed, but it's not. The waitress insists on putting people next to each other instead of spreading them out a bit. At one point I briefly sat on the bench to help my child and the waitress took my chair away, it was uncomfortable and just odd to put it mildly. Recommend immediate staff training and professional assistance with dining layout to maximize seating while ensuring guest comfort.

I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.
