They just opened and my co-workers and I were curious to try it out. We ordered the bento box and could not believe what a deal it was! You get so much food for such a low price. We went into the restaurant to pick up our food and the place looked very nice inside. We were impressed because most of the restaurants nearby did not look as nice as this one. Service to pick up was normal. Once we got back to the office, we all tried the food and everyone was very pleased. It was a winner for us. The food was delicious, filling, and a good price. Sushi Nami was alright. My friend and I love sushi and Wayne is lacking in the sushi department. We needed to find something new with the recent closing of Wabi Sabi, our favorite sushi restaurant on the main line. The restaurant itself was pristinely clean, and the quality of the food was excellent. The sushi came in generous portions. My friend ordered the Fire Dragon roll, and she could barely finish it. They could have given us more edamame. My big issue with Sushi Nami was the insane price. Plan on dropping big bucks on sushi dishes, at least 15-16$ a plate. Not cool. Lower the prices or you will not get business. I'll probably opt for Margaret Kuo's next time. Service a bit slow also. Ambiance is pretty and quiet! read more

This place seemed to have potential at a glance. My group of 4 walked in with empty stomachs and were new to the area. We were greeted well and seated immediately. With high expectations, we were excited for some decent sushi or a hot Japanese entree. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll(spicy mayo on the side) with a chicken poke bowl(half greens and half rice). My group ordered a dragon roll of some sorts, salmon/ beef teriyaki, and a main line roll with a thai tea. The thai tea and the roll were phenomenal! The dragon roll was delicious as well. On the contrary, the teriyaki was disappointing. The beef was dry and stripped out all the moisture in your mouth, making it difficult to even swallow. The best part of that dish? The onions... It gets worse. As the place got busier and busier, service fell apart. My food was served; no greens, shrimp tempura roll, or spicy mayo. The waitress dropped off my food and didn't check back until 30 minutes later. My roll was requested once again and she still forgot my spicy mayo. She took another 10 to serve that. The poke bowl was just sad. The chicken was decent, but overall bland. The roll was pretty okay! The service was the worst part of my night. The waitress failed to come back to check in to even ask if we needed more water, as we sat there with empty glass waters for almost 45 minutes. Hire more people and hire exceptionally better people please. The food would have been rated better if the service was on par, but it was far from it. We ordered a basic order for 4 people through grubhub. After 1hr 50min we spoke to the restaurant and they said they were "busy" and weren't sure. Seriously?? An hour and 50 minutes?? And at that point your can't prioritize our order? Then don't take the order. I am so so bummed and disappointed. Just terrible. Don't waste your money. I don't even know if I will get my money back for this order - I will probably have to contest it with my credit card and still have no food. Ugh read more

I saw this place open and hadn't tried it yet, so ok Friday night I went with the fam. First off, the staff was amazing. Our servers name was Nam I think, and she was delightful and amazing with my daughter. The food was great and well made, everything tasted fresh and was reasonably priced. If I could give this zero stars I most definitely would. I ordered a chicken teriyaki lunch bento box for pick up and when I started to eat it i noticed there was a hair in it. I called back and a woman answered I told her the problem and she said just come in one day and we'll give You free one. Today I decided that is what I wanted for lunch so I called and she said yes ok come in we'll have it ready for you, when I got there she started badgering me about my phone number and was being extremely rude I told her I was in break and only had 10 mins left to get back you work and she was still being rude, never gave me my food, and wasted my time. I will never go back and I have been going there since the first day they opened. I had the worst service EVER and it was just a takeout order! The girl who took my order was very rude and doesn't care about the business or customers. She didn't give me any chopsticks or utensils or soy sauce to eat my lunch with! WTF?!?!? I didn't know until I got all the way back to work & when I called to tell them I wanted a new lunch ( I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki bento box) with chopsticks, a spoon and soy sauce this time they said they would make me a new one but I would have to pay for it...ummm, I think not. So I went back there to talk to the manager or owner and was told neither were there but that if I came back at 4:30 when they open for dinner they would make me a new lunch...Gee thanks. So on my THIRD trip to their establishment I put my old ass lunch on the counter and demanded my money back. I did tell the Chefs they were wonderful and it was nothing against them because that is the truth. Those girls who are at the front and serving need to be fired or properly trained. read more

Found this one on Yelp, while visiting King of Prussia. It's in a little strip mall, and while it is very simple on the inside, the food was really good. Had sashimi and one of the signature rolls and both were excellent. Good value for the money. read more

Sushi Nami is our favorite new sushi place on the Mainline! Our family has been here numerous times since it opened! Always consistent! Very nice and clean! Wonderful and attentive staff! Very accommodating. Very affordable prices for delicious food! Our favorite menu item is any of the bento boxes! There is nothing in them that isn't delicious. If you love good sushi this is the place. The pot stickers are yummy as is the teriyaki sauce on any of the proteins. Put this on your places to eat. Yum! read more

Sushi Nami is a new sushi place on Strafford avenue. The food was just OK. It's not really authentic--the sushi didn't have any wasabi on it at all--but it's tasty enough. The service was terrible and very slow though--it took them over an hour to bring us our appetizers, and a half hour after that to bring us the meal. Nami means "average" in Japanese--an apt name, I think. read more

Worst service I've had in a long time. Was first seated at a table and then asked to move to a different table because a larger party walked in the door. Ended up shivering at a table by the window where cold air came through the cracks. Took ages to get anything, including food as well as the attention of the server. I enjoy spicy mayo on my sushi instead of soy sauce, so I requested a side of that and received the tiniest amount (about the size and thickness of a quarter). Obviously that was not enough for the 3 rolls I eventually ordered, so I continued to ask for refills, which I was charged 30 cents each for. When I first asked for a refill, the server completely forgot and left me sitting there with a plate full of sushi for a half hour before returning and I had to remind her what I asked for. What should've been a 45 minute dinner with friends turned into 2 and half hours of waiting for our food to come out. And finally, one person in my party received the wrong type of sushi roll, and she had to eat it anyway because if we had waited for a new roll, we would've missed our other plans for after dinner.
