    The salmon platter
    Allison L.

Sushi Kudasai is next door to where I work, so I came here with coworkers for lunch one day. Located inside the Skyline tower, it was a lot smaller than I expected. You go up and order at the counter, where the menu is located above the counter McDonald's style. It reminded me of a fast food joint (but I guess it's not?) and gave me the vibes of a casual place for a quick lunch. They had a lot of different options-- there were nigiri and rolls alike, and it seemed to be a pretty good price. They also had poke bowls and udons too as part of their menu. Since I really like salmon, I ordered the salmon platter for $12.25. It was 5 piece of salmon nigiri with 6 salmon rolls. I didn't really how the salmon rolls came with wasabi inside of them. The wasabi taste was very strong and ended up overpowering the taste of the fish. I ended up having to deconstruct the rolls to get some of the wasabi out so that I didn't feel my mouth burning every time I ate a roll. If you don't like wasabi, make sure to put in a note to the chef for them to put it on the side instead. The fish tasted really good! I was a big fan of the salmon nigiri and the fish to rice ratio was pretty good. I felt like the fish was decently fresh, and tasted smooth and buttery. The value in this place is actually not too bad. The 11 piece of sushi I had was enough to fill me up to pretty full, but I wasn't stuffed from it. Their rolls are also pretty reasonable, where a simple roll (6 pc, think salmon roll, tuna roll) cost around $5 and the classic ones (8 pc, think spicy tuna, eel, California) cost around $6-7. Larger, special rolls (8pc, topped with fish) would cost about $10-12. Probably would come back here again, and try out some other things on their menu. After all, their poke bowls do look pretty good.

Looking for a hot lunch for a gloomy work day. Decided to try this place as it was conveniently located in the skyline building which is where I work. The team behind the counter is very efficient and I received my order within 5 minutes. Lots of sushi choices including ramen noodles. I ordered the Karai Miso Ramen / mild ... with pork. It's still a bit spicy. Overall it's a decent place for lunch / a bit pricey .... I had better ramen.

I ordered a Sunrise Roll with Albacore, Salmon, & Tuna Nigiri and was not real happy with the food. At first glance, presentation was good for a to go order. But, the food was mediocre. All the fish was rubbery and a little dry. Definately not something I would order again.

Some of my co-workers really love this place so some of us decided to go have lunch here. They didn't have the Spider Roll on the menu, which is my favorite, and nothing else was calling my name, so I tried the SK Kick Spicy Poké Bowl. One sushi roll doesn't always fill me up so I wanted something that I thought might. The poké bowl came up to more than $13 after tax, but poké usually is a little pricey. It was fulfilling and had a decent amount of salmon and tuna, but I thought it was a little too saucy. It wasn't the greatest poké I've had, but wasn't too bad.

Looking for affordable and pretty tasty lunch, and happen to work within a few blocks of Sushi Kudasai? Say hello to a perfectly adequate and tasty meal. Kudasai is a sushi and poke place with the ambience of a food court and the menu variety of a food court Japanese restaurant looking to distract you from its mediocre quality by overloading you with options, but it is nevertheless quite tasty for what it is. I ordered a bowl of miso soup and six California rolls - admittedly a mistake, as my coworkers' much more colorful and original rolls tasted quite a bit better than mine. Nothing I had was particularly good - I'd describe the sushi as Whole Foods-quality, and the miso was good but no more than that. However, the few pieces I tried from my friends were enough to convince me to come back. The poke bowls are filling and well-portioned, the rainbow roll was genuinely a delight, and the portions for the price are nearly unbeatable for the area. If you're looking for the best food in town, go elsewhere. Heck, if you're looking for the best quick sushi-related lunch within a mile, go elsewhere - Pokeworks, which is about a ten-minute walk away, is miles better. However, if you're looking for a perfectly decent lunch because you didn't want to bring food and only have so long to search for a place, this is the one. I don't love it, but I'll certainly be back.

The sushi here is consistent and good. I think it's a little overpriced for what you get but it's within a 5 minute walk from my work, so it's incredibly convenient. I usually get anything with shrimp tempura in it (my favorite) and I've only been here on the weekdays during lunch. Sometimes it can get a tad bit busy, but the lines move fast and they're incredibly efficient. I've only tried a few rolls on the menu so my rating only pertains to a few select items. I've never tried the sashimi or nigiri because I'm a bit picky on that and don't like eating mediocre quality raw fish (I like to hold Kashiba as my standard). I wouldn't ever go out of my way to get here, but I'll keep coming for lunch during the workweek out of sheer convenience.

King dragon roll? Something like that $15.

I came here on a weekday for lunch. It's kind of a stretch to go to unless you worked walking distance from this place. Not very good parking within 2 block radius. My boyfriend and I shared the Salmon platter and a King dragon roll (I think that's what it's called). Prices are reasonable, but I guess it matches the quality. The salmon platter had salmon nigiri and salmon rolls. The salmon was not very good. It's super slick. No bueno. Did not really want to eat it. The roll was ok. I had like 5 bones though in the eel in ONE piece of the roll. That is no bueno too. Also it was one of the more expensive rolls at $15. I would not go out of my way to come here. Walking distance and craving sushi, then sure, its ok. They do have quite a bit of comfortable seating.

I was craving some quick sushi after work so I stopped by here. Given that the place closed at 6pm, I had my reservation about ordering after 5 when the place was completely empty. However, I guess many people had the same thought so I decided to brave the store after another lady stopped by to order take out. The place is run by two Koreans. I ordered the Playgirl Roll which is salmon and avocado on top and tempura shrimp inside. The brown sauce that was drizzled on top tasted like oyster sauce. The roll itself looked quite pretty. However, I think since they already turn off the fryer, they heated up the tempura shrimp in the microwave instead. As a result the tempura breading was not crispy at all. That was slightly disappointing. Several other people stopped at the store after me. They probably all had the good sense not to order a roll with a fried element. Anyhow, salmon tasted fresh, the roll didn't taste too awful. Nevertheless, I would recommend not ordering any roll with tempura at odd hours so that you can get the proper texture balance in your roll.

Very busy during lunch. Miso is complementary. Great. Don't forget to ask wasabi and gingers. Better dining space out of restaurants.

I also highly recommend the Salmon Lemon -- fresh, bright, and very satisfying. Overall, Wild Wasabi Signature is a solid spot for happy hour sushi in downtown Bellevue. We'll definitely be back!

He was the only one that ate the scallops and the free appetizer for the day which was squid I just don't think we can return after that. My son said he also noticed that the raw chicken placement was further away from the chef and the beef was almost touching the raw chicken so the beef was between the chicken and the chef. The grill was kind of a little sloped (hardly noticeable but from our angle you can tell since we were sitting on the side) so he was thinking that maybe some of the raw chicken juice may have gotten on the beef that he ate. He orders his beef medium rare . Maybe that's what it was? I've actually never been to another hibachi restaurant that cooked the beef and the chicken with that placement. Usually the chicken is far away from everything else being cooked and is to the left or right of other food

Chef Takai's omakase leans on the traditional side, which is my preference, and the portions of fish are great. I appreciate he incorporates both familiar fish and also newer or very seasonal fish as well - each time I've visited, I'd say about a third of the courses were different. I also love that non-sushi courses are interspersed throughout the meal, all of which are executed very well. Some standouts from my most recent visit: the matcha tofu (very memorable, amazing texture), hairy crab, and the anago. There was not a single course I did not like though! There is a paid lot right next to the restaurant, which seems like can get packed during rush hour. Waitstaff service was particularly good on my last visit, and Chef Takai was as personable as ever. I'd definitely recommend counter seats if they're available so that you can interact with the chefs, who are all lovely!
