Had a great experience stopping in for Lunch. I found the lunch menu to have a large amount of variety for 18.99. Our server Nancy was extremely attentive and kind. The food came out promptly and everything was made to order. The other staff helped clear and we never had to stare at a stack of our sushi plates. The standout rolls for me were the Short Pump Roll and the Banana Roll. This place is still quite new and you can tell that they put time and effort into the design. The decor felt well thought out and was stunning. They even have some spirited away statues which was a fun Easter egg for anime lovers. Overall, this will definitely be an AYCE sushi place I return to. The quality was undeniable and I'm excited to try out their dinner next.

I made a recently revisit and brought my wife for the first time. The experience that I had before didn't change. The lobby entrance was clean, peaceful Buddha sitting on top of clouds and simply amazing artwork on the walls, ceiling and displays throughout the restaurant. The freshness, accuracy and quality of each items was on point. From fried items, soup, salads, nigiri, sushi rolls and sashimi. The favorites are: salmon skin salad, eel nigiri, sweet mango roll (tastes like ice cream); Tokyo roll, salmon lover roll, masago, snow crab salad and variety of sashimi. But there were a few items didn't it that mark for me: house salad and avocado saladThey both are drowning with sauce with no hint of ginger and the avocado salad is the same as what you get on topped of sushi rolls with 8 thin slices. We had excellent service from our server May, she was very attentive, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. People always talk about hidden gems , well this establishment is one of them. It's a must place to visit, you won't be disappointed.

Clean. Beautiful ambiance. Flavorful and fresh sushi. Huge parking lot. Wheelchai accessible. TVs to watch the game (if they feel like changing the channel.) I asked one time and they flatly said no. Staff is usually swift and polite. If you're choosing between Sushi King and this spot, Sushi Kingdom, both are good. This place looks, smells, and is cleaner. Not bashing Sushi King at all. If I'm ever on that side of town (West Broad Street) I WILL eat there. Sushi Kingdom is a bit pricier than Sushi King. Finally my favorite specialty rolls include the Hot Girl, Monster, Dynamite, and Godzilla.

A lot to like at Sushi Kingdom! Ambiance: decorated in tasteful Asian accents. Seating is normally spaced and the layout provides some privacy. It is a bit loud with open, metal ceilings that echo noise. Service has been very good with prompt seating, table waiting and food delivery. Despite being all you can eat, wait staff continue to stay on the ball consistently throughout the meal. Can peak times this place is busy so you might try a time or night that is less so. Food is good! There are a variety of rolls, sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, hibachi and tempura options. While not the highest quality cuts (as you would expect), the food is fresh and also consistent in its quality and how it is prepared. Strong marks all around for ambiance, service and food. Less one star for the noise and average food quality but a very good dining experience overall, especially for an all you can eat restaurant. Recommend and be sure to bring a big appetite!

Ok, I will do my best not to compare to another "certain" sushi place located in Richmond but the resemblance is sorta uncanny but here's my take. Service - 8.8/10 the service was great but sometimes the food was cold, but I didn't mind it. Food - 8/10 the noodles were pretty tasty and the takoyaki is also good. (I forgot to take of picture of it.) I also ordered a Monster Roll and that is by far my personal favorites. But like I said before, tastes almost the same as Sushi King (or Saki Sushi depending on which part of Richmond you live in.) Interior - 9/10 The inside looked amazing and the bathrooms were bland but at least they were clean. Overall, I really liked the food and I would recommend this place. I'd give this place a 8.5/10.

The vibes and decor is immaculate! The service was quick, to bring out dishes and remove as well. Now to the good part: THE FOOD Ok the sushi was fresh and so good! The salmon was delicious! They have so many specialty rolls, with 8 pieces. They also have hibachi steaks and salmon, rice, noodles, everything is served in small portions so you can pace yourself, and try a lot of different dishes! The sides are really good too, surprisingly I enjoyed the salmon skin salad! The desserts are good too- I'd recommend getting the ice cream (comes in 3 scoops per bowl) with the fried Oreos! Definitely a go to sushi spot if you're in the area! It's located in short pump mall, next to the movie theater!

This place is amazing! We went for lunch and paid about $20 a person for unlimited sushi. Although the quality of fish is not top tier, you cannot beat their pricing. Everything was delicious! The lunch menu offers a solid variety, including nigiri. Although the menu notes a limit on nigiri orders, our server allowed us to order more. The interior is beautifully decorated with plenty of visual details to enjoy. My only minor complaint was the service. A few items were forgotten, which we either had to remind them about or ultimately decided to skip. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for its value. The quality of the fish is impressive for the price.

This place is gorgeous inside. We ordered sushi to take back to our room. Unfortunately it made us sickkkk. Omg. My daughter was vomiting and we had the bubble guts. Sorry if it's TMI, but I don't think I'd eat sushi here again. The staff was friendly and it's clean inside, but it was literally no one inside. Maybe business is slow and we were served old fish or something. They have all you can eat sushi, but we just ordered a few rolls to go. My daughter got the spider roll and the crab had to be related to Mr Krab from SpongeBob. It turned her off. My cream cheese and crab appetizer was undercooked and made my stomach take a dive off the deep end. Hopefully it was just a bad day,but since we both got sick I really think it was the food.

Sushi Kingdom is a nice all-you-can-eat addition to the area. Their menu is massive and we couldn't try everything we wanted in one go so we'll have to come back. They had some dishes I haven't seen at other AYCE sushi spots. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and clean. They have plenty of seating so we didn't have to wait. It's $24 for adults, $15 for kids (under 5ft), and free for kids age 1-2 (under 3ft). Sashimi is an extra 50 cents per piece. All the food was pretty good. They could be a little more consistent. We ordered crab rangoons a few times and most times the edges were too chewy to eat. They could also use more filling - that's the best part. The two sesame balls in the order weren't the same, one fried longer and smushed. The sushi rolls had a bit more rice than we'd prefer. We had to reorder one or two items again since they were forgotten the first time. Overall, it's worth visiting if you want AYCE sushi! Hopefully the minor kinks will work out with more time.

Came here for dinner and the ayce was $24pp. I got a variety of sushi (short pump, LSU, four season), sides, and hibachi. The hibachi combo lets you choose two types of meat and they will cook it. I got the shrimp and salmon and it was drenched in sauce. It might have been overcooked but all that sauce allowed it to still be decent. The side dish like the calamari and edamame were good. Out of the four rolls I had, none of them blew my mind. The sushi in general was about slightly above average. I did love the Tuna Tataki and Pepper tuna, however I was disappointed that they were limited to only two orders. Staff were friendly and good about cleaning plates once done. Overall a decent ayce sushi place with, appetizers , and hibachi. Food(50%): 6.5 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 7.0 Overall: 6.8/10

Fast becoming a tradition for our vegan family, this beautiful restaurant provides a large selection of vegan / veganizeable sushi options, more than enough to keep it interesting and delicious. Everything was made to order fresh and flavorful. My adult sons discovered Sushi Kingdom and have been fans independent of us for a few months. We were easy converts. The layout and decor with paper lanterns, lattice partitions and dark wood frames feel like something straight out of a Miyazaki movie, in fact there are even two No Face statues offering candies. Tasteful clay vases with single orchid blossoms and sleek faux marble platters provided a Japanese table setting aesthetic . Comfortable seating arrangements in many different combinations: chairs, booths, barstools, etc. Our waitress on this visit handled our large party effectively and was always willing to help Veganize menu items when possible. She was very sweet and good at checking on us regularly. We will continue to patronize this restaurant on special occasions and bring our friends and family along whenever we can. It's a fancy dining experience for us but well worth the price of $23.99 per person, with a discount for younger guests. Yes: vegan friendly YES: family friendly

Very good AYCE sushi meal. I chose this for my birthday dinner and enjoyed it! The restaurant is pretty and nice and clean. Service was good. The waitress entered orders on an iPad on a strap around her neck, which was efficient. We ordered a lot and never waited long to order. I was super pleased with how quickly our items came out. The food was overall good. I enjoyed the sushi and particular for the format. The stars for me ironically were the non-sushi items. The sesame balls with black bean paste were so good and the fried Oreos were fun with the light tempura. Would definitely go back. Hope they keep up the good quality, service and cleanliness!

I am allergic to avocado and made sure to write on my order TWICE that I wanted no avocado on my California roll. This may be a strange request but that's why I made sure to write it twice, in all caps. I get back to my house and realize they in fact did put avocado on my roll. I threw away the California roll (because I can't eat it) and looked over to the next. As soon as I was about to pick up a piece, I realize there is a hair in the sushi... I tried eating a few pieces but was honestly just really disgusted and annoyed. The few pieces I did eat fell apart as soon as I picked them up and were rolled improperly. 2 disgusting rolls for $20 after waiting for 45 minutes = 2 stars. And that is me being generous. Save your money. Go to Publix!!!
