So I go here all the time and have never had a problem. With the entire covid 19 going on they should be a little more responsible or careful. I ordered my usual drink I watched them give it to the car In front of me and a couple minutes go by and the girl the car gave it back to them cause obviously she didn't order it. It's my turn to come to the window and they proceed to give me the same drink they gave to the girl with the same straw and everything. I'm sorry but I'm not taking it cause I'm not chancing it. This is my new favorite quick fix sushi stop. The place is very clean and the service people are helpful and friendly. I had the California Roll and honey milk tea. Very good and the tea is refreshing. I highly recommend it. It is an old Dairy Queen building so the exterior looks are deceiving. It is masking a sweet interior. read more

ATTENTION VETERANS/MILITARY: NO MILITARY/VETERAN DISCOUNT, NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD VETERANS The food is okay, not amazing, not great, but it is filling for a decent price. However, they might as well not even have a drive through. I have NEVER, not even once, waited for at less than 20 minutes for a meal even when there are no other customers. Also, they don't know the difference between banana peppers and jalapenos. To top it all off, they often claim they don't speak English if they don't want to do something for you. For example, we asked if they did Veteran's discounts at the window, because I'm a disabled veteran of the Gulf War era, and were told by the young man that they do. I was ecstatic because so few places do this anymore (most did when I enlisted in the 90s). A few minutes later, a woman, who I assume is the manager or owner, came back up to the window and handed me my card saying he didn't understand my question and they didn't do discounts. After I explained that they can't tell me yes, they do discounts and then take it back she agreed to give me $3 off of an almost $60 order! REALLY? Three dollars isn't even 5%, let alone the 10%-15% discount most places offer to veterans. She went about her business in the restaurant stealing angry glares at us through the window every opportunity she could. Then finally gave us our meal almost 25 minutes after we placed the order. Just in time to get our children to their music lesson. We had 5 people in the car, 3 adults, 2 children. Again, the food is okay, but not worth the wait or the attitude. We probably won't be going back. I almost always give a place a second try before posting a review, unless it is truly terrible. This place has had four tries so far. We go here once a month or so. It is fantastic. The size of a burritos here are HUGE. The food is always consistent, delicious, and fresh. The employees are always friendly and inviting. Love their drinks too, so many choices. I highly suggest them for lunch and dinner. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was very unsure but one of the best and freshest meals I have ever had in Chico! I bought grilled chicken that came with perfectly steamed broccoli and carrots, amazing rice, an egg roll with sweet and sour dipping sauce and a cup of miso soup all for a mere $7.95! My new go to! read more

Decent food for a drive through sushi. The Las Vegas Roll is what I order most often. The rainbow roll isn't bad for satisfying a raw fish sushi craving. I top it off with a Thai Iced tea and it totally hits the spot. Wait times can be a while sometimes though. read more

I think the name of this place can be a bit misleading. At first, I assumed it was some type of Japanese/ Mexican fusion restaurant. However, there is no mexican food to be found here. I originally went here for the boba, But it was only a matter of time before I tried the sushi. So far I have tried two different rolls. I believe the first one I got is called the shrimp special, and the second was the golden cal. Both were very delicious and filling. The golden cal was actually much better than I expected it to be. really nice sauces, could have had a little more cucumber in the golden cal.(Ohwell) I look forward to getting an actual sushi burrito some day, they look intense. That being said; the regular rolls themselves are much larger than other sushi places, so I do think you get a good value. Everything I have tried so far has been good. My only gripe is that I am not really a fan of the wasabi and ginger they use. Also, the shrimp roll sort of fell apart on me because of how big it was, golden cal didnt break because of its outer layer of fried goodness. The reason for my 1 star rating is not the food but rather the attitude of the manager. I purchased 2 burritos, 1 with no avocado due to being allergic. When handed the bag I asked again if the one without avocado was marked to make sure they had not put any in one. Yes they had marked it. My friend ate his before I ate mine and he was sure he had avocado in his. So when I ate mine I didn't thoroughly examine it. This was a mistake there was avocado in it as 2 hours later I was in the ER with a severe allergic reaction. Now the reason for my rating. I called the manager to let her know what had happened. The response was a rude "What do you want us to do about it?", I really was set back by that type of attitude. Then she further went on to say she remembered me and insisted there wasn't any avocado in the food. Finally at the end of the conversation she offered a curt and weak apology. I expect better from someone who has caused severe and expensive distress to a customer. I can only assume she has enough business to not care about customer service or care. She is very lucky I am not a person who believes in hiring a lawyer like a lot of people. Instead I'll let this post speak for me. read more

BOTH my roommate and I got the same thing we BOTH ended up throwing up in the bathroom within an hour afterwards. We consumed nothing besides the tea. Haha, so I was just like everyone else, I was very nervous to try this; It's a drive Thru sushi! But I like the reviews so my fiancé and I went yesterday and I got the sashimi burrito (very much recommended) and my fiancé got the grilled chicken plate (comes with soup or soda, and rice and veggies) also recommended for the healthier choice. And to drink we got their bobas: almond and rose milk bobas (again recommended). I've tried my share of sushi from All over California (LA, OC, SD, SAC, SF) from nice places with talented chefs to half fast sushi and sushi I wish I didn't eat. Not impressed at all. The taro milk tea and mango milk tea that I ordered was not good, it still had little remnants of powder in the drink and it was super watered down. The boba was a little too chewy and they did not give me the popping boba that I paid and asked for! The popcorn chicken was tough and chewy. And it did not taste like lemon pepper. What was the point of choosing a flavor? It tasted like plain old chicken. The rolls are mostly rice and little pieces of fish. Good thing, I didn't order a sushi burrito, I probably would have been extremely disappointed as well! What a shame! I had high hopes for this place. read more

Terrible service. I called in a two sushi burrito order 20 minutes in advance and when I got there it wasn't even started. There was no one in the drive thru or in the dining area. I waited for another 15 minutes after paying and it still wasn't ready. I got a refund and left. They should have still given me the food. read more

So a co-worker has been going to this Sushi Burrito place, and had to give it a try. Holy cow have we been missing out! The prices are great, and the food really good. The burritos are not made with tortillas, but wrapped in the seaweed sheets. The fried shrimp burrito was AWESOME...Husband got the Fried shrimp roll, and an order of Gyoza (pot stickers) We loved it all!! We used the drive thru so we don't know what the inside is like. Tried this place due to the other mostly 3+ star reviews and because of the fact that I love sushi. I got a Vegas roll and a dragon roll and a peach smoothie everything was really good. I love the fact that I can get sushi on the go here, very unique idea that I think works great. I adore this place! Nothing makes me happier then a drive-through restaurant, that's not your typical fast food fare! It's very difficult for me to find any drive through that is not either greasy chicken, fake Mexican food, or burgers, which I don't eat come up as I am vegetarian. This place is a saving grace! They don't have many veggie sushi options, but what they do have, I am more than satisfied with. There eggrolls are to die for! Some of the crispies and, most flavorful eggrolls I've ever had in my life. I like that they're kind of a combo size between Vietnamese Spring rolls and Chinese eggrolls. Just enough filling but not so much it spills out when you're trying to take the bite. I've only had the coconut slush, and I've had it 6 times, and it's just...heavenly good! It's clear they use fresh coconut milk and it tastes superb! I have had their veggie sushi burrito, their potato roll, crazy potato roll, and their avocado roll. All are on equal status to the higher end sushi restaurants I've been to in San Francisco and the Bay area, where I moved from. Their only issue is their physical restaurant is run down and they could easily have higher end food if they wanted to make their restaurant a little bit more upscale, opposed to looking like a the vacated fast food restaurant. The menu should be more extensive too. It's a pretty small menu, and they definitely need at least half a dozen more creative veg sushi options. But I will always come back here as long as they are around. There always as quick as they can be, for making things fresh, and beyond sweet at the drive-through window. Don't forget to tip them! Just cause it's a drive-through, doesn't mean there's no effort made. read more

Love love this place! Definitely a place to visit! Affordable prices (average $8-11). I wish there was a place like this in the Bay Area. Sashimi burrito & fried soft shell crab burrito (sushirito) were delicious! They come with a creamy orange sauce & a green spicy, creamy sauce. One sushirito is very filling. It is Iike a big roll of sushi wrapped in nori wrap. They also have combo boxes that start at $7.95 & they give a lot! Also tried their popcorn shrimp & it didn't disappoint. Yummy! I've had bubble tea all over the country, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and so I was kind of nervous when I moved to Chico that boba would no longer be a part of my life. You can guess my excitement after trying the teas here...yay! Every flavor I've tried has been great and I am impressed with the consistency in quality. The tapioca are nicely sweetened and perfectly chewy, the teas are not too sweet, good variety of flavors, and they make them quickly (not as quickly as Quickly, but ya know...). Yeah, the food tasted okay, with a little bit of a questionable taste once, but the feeling of it leaving your body as fast as it can through the back end in the middle of the night was not at all pleasant.
