I don't visit Chico often, but I do know that their boba scene is limited, so I was pleasantly surprised with this spot! No complaints about any of the drinks or the boba. I tried the strawberry Thai tea, a combo I've never heard of before, and I enjoyed it. Prices were pretty standard for boba these days. They have a BOGO offer if you download the app, which we definitely utilized. All things considered, if I lived in Chico, I would probably be a regular here whenever I need a boba fix. read more

Wow these reviews were deceiving. We were in town for an appointment and wanted boba. Based on the reviews, we had to choose Krak, especially since we've had it in SoCal and it was delicious. We ordered 4 drinks and 2 had to be returned. The other 2 were my husband's and he just drinks anything so maybe he just didn't want to return it. He said it was just okay. I ordered a double matcha and it tasted like milk with a hint of matcha. The foam on top had a hint of brown. The color and taste wasn't right. For a double matcha, I expect it to be matcha forward and GREEN. Maybe they dont use quality matcha. Save your money and avoid the matcha at all cost. My son ordered the limited time drink. The initial worker didn't know what was in it and the second one explained that it was all their fruit puree with sprite, so sparkling. There was not one ounce of sparkling taste in there. It just tasted like strong green tea. We returned both drinks and got something new but we didn't finish those either. Not sure how they have such high reviews but compared to the SoCal location, this place lacked quality and consistency. Our drinks did not look like the photos at all, none of them. They almost charged me for the replacement drink until I asked if they could just take back the matcha and swap it out since I wasn't going to drink it anyways. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the employees seemed genuinely nice but I think more training is needed. read more

Matcha milk tea: it was good. The 75% sweetness helped. Didnt taste too sweet imo. I could taste the grainy matcha, but it tasted good. Boba- good. I cant tell the different between stores unless its really bad. Pudding- I think the pudding is mango, it is yellow ish orangeish color. And its huge. Not a fan tbh. You finish the drink and find out you havent even gotten a single sip of the pudding cause of how fat they are. You have to use the straw as a knife to chop up the pieces and slurp them up. Then I end up having an upset stomach. (Idk if I can fully blame my upset stomach on it but just my anecdote). In terms of taste and texture tho, it good. Standard. Extra large was the only option for matcha milk tea drink Most drinks Dont come with boba, costs 85c to add. You know how they say "do one thing and do it well"? Well Krak does Boba super well. Unlike many other boba places I've had around the Bay Area, Sacramento, San Diego and Chico, this place is smartly focusing on their drinks only. And it's paid off. Service here was impeccable. With the big menu I needed help and the lovely person helping me was awesome! Thank you Molly. The shop is small and busy, but they have plenty of waiting around stools to sit on while you wait for your drink to be made. Only took a few minutes! I ordered the Dragon Slayer for my first time here with rainbow popping boba and 50% sweet. I am madly in love with this drink!!! To be honest, this is the only Boba tea place I've visited that had White people working there, and didn't have some sort of Asian theme. That said, it was clean, bright place. The staff was friendly and helpful, and made their teas faster than most boba places. I got the King Brulee, and it was very good. I recommend it if you want a good, quick, boba tea. read more

I've been there twice! Delicious drinks, great variety. I ordered on the kiosk, and picked up the drink at the counter when it was ready. I left thinking, this is the very first place I had absolutely no interaction with the staff. This is great for people who want to grab a drink and go. The place is clean and pretty low key as there were a couple people waiting on drinks. read more

My girlfriend and I heard about this place having been recently opened. We walked in and were greeted by the friendly staff despite it being busy. We saw they had a large menu of delicious looking drinks, but I always go for my go-to drink of choice being anything with taro. It was a little bit of a wait but it was absolutely worth it. When I touched the bottom of my drink, it was warm. I never knew boba had to be made fresh and served warm to the touch. It was pleasant drinking that to the sweet contrast from the taro. The taro tasted like actual taro and not powdered or imitation. I could tell that they used freshly cooked taro to make the flavor and the purée. It was sweet but not too sweet to where it hurts the taro's natural earthy, creamy taste. No big chunks to chew and it has a nice smooth consistency throughout. To top it off I added the sea salt foam and that added a nice layer of savory contrast to the sweet drink. My girlfriend got the mango tango with rainbow boba. She said it was really what she needed for the hot Chico heat. I tried it and I could feel and taste the fresh fruit blended. The popping boba was a nice kick to the taste buds as well. This spot is already my go-to spot and we'll be coming here first whenever we are back in town. read more

I got the signature and the taro twist for me and my boyfriend, my expectations were high due to online hype. I ordered, the ladies there were nice and welcoming though I did over hear them gossip a little about customers. But back to drinks, both were quite watered down and the taro twist had some weird texture to it. I didn't add sweetness or take any, I expected a decently sweet drink. if I went back again I'd definitely add sweetness and a drink other than the taro twist. read more

This place took forever. Good drinks but took way too long for 3 drinks. 25 minute wait time. Plan ahead if you go. Lets hope this new place csn pick up the pace. Customers were frustrated waiting. What we ordered only came in one size option and was almost 8$ a drink! Clean nice place but definitely is experiencing some tough growing issues. Long long wait plus high prices. They radiated joy and patience and never appeared stressed or short-tempered despite how busy they were. It's rich, flavorful, and reminds me of the holidays.

We had the Mexican themed salad that had roasted corn in it and I died and went to heaven eating that salad. The lime dressing was sooo good. The meat was so tender and tasty. No gristle!!!! I was fully expecting some but it was perfect meat. Well flavored and perfectly cooked. Not only did our server give us the best advice, she also sent us out the door with a refill of iced tea. In this heat, that is so kind. She probably saved me from dehydration!! We had the nicest drive back to the Bay Area. We talked about coming back with our manly men. They would love this place. Chico is just as nice and less expensive than the Bay Area. I recommend visiting this lovely restaurant and brewery. I would have had the beer but I can't mix alcohol and heat that I'm not used to. The copper accents are beautiful and the seating was comfortable. Unfortunately, it was super busy so I would recommend sitting outside for a more romantic and private ambience. My blackened salmon tacos were delicious and we cleaned off the plate within a handful of minutes. I really loved the pickled onions on the side and the crispy outside layer of the salmon pieces. Shout out to our server, kaylee for giving us as much attention as she could, despite the business!

Cheese sticks are similar to Papa John's or Mountain Mike's in that you get a pizza cut into sticks with a dipping sauce. Their location, although seemingly good for delivery orders with being close to downtown and the student areas, is out of place and it's easy to miss the pizzeria completely when driving by. It's definitely worth checking out the new Boba shop in Chico. I tried the King Brule, half sweet with oat milk. My family tried other options like Krak coffee, strawberry banana smoothie, and milk tea. There's something for everyone at Krak and it's all delicious.
