We loved this coffee shop so much that we visited twice during our weekend in Chico! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, and the coffee was absolutely delectable. We ordered the iced Toasted Coconut Latte both times, and it was outstanding--easily one of our favorite coffee drinks we've had in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to start our mornings while exploring the area. Stopped here on a weekend morning and there was no line. I ordered a cinnamon swirl latte with oat milk. My order came out very quickly and tasted delicious! There's a gallery in this same space which is cool to browse while waiting. There aren't many parking spots in this lot but there is also street parking nearby so it shouldn't be an issue if it gets busy. There's limited seating inside and outside but it doesn't seem to be a stay and study type of coffee shop. read more

The shop can be easy to miss if you're driving down the street and unfamiliar with the place, but they do have a small parking lot available right at the corner of the intersection. Found the shop unique as it also doubled as an art exhibit. Ordered a hazelnut oat latte and it tasted just how I expected it to taste. It is on the subtler side for hazelnut. I'd come again if it was a shop geared toward studying and getting work done, however, this isn't the case. Overall, just your standard cup of caffeine. There is no ambiance here. It feels kinda "dead" inside. The large iced Chico Chai I got was tasty and not too sweet, just the way I like it. BUT there was so much ice in the cup that it was gone in three sips! Very disappointing for $6. So word of caution if you order an iced drink - ask for very light ice or none at all. This is the best iced latte I've had in chico so far, the coffee flavor isn't overpowered by the sweetness of the syrup which is house made and so delicious. Wow! We are visiting Chico for the weekend and after doing some research we decided to stop at Equilateral Coffee. The shop is the cutest both inside and outside. The girl at the register met us with a nice smile (behind her mask of course) and answered our questions before we ordered. We got an iced Coconut latte and OH MY GOODNESS. This business sells the best coffee/cafe drinks, hands down! As some have already mentioned, the people running it are just the sweetest, and their house-made seasonal syrups are always fantastic and fun to try. My favorite regular orders are anything with their lavender syrup (it's the best lavender syrup I've had at any place in Chico or in the Bay Area), and their Aztec Mocha. Since I had to quit coffee this year, I've been getting the Aztec Mocha as an Aztec Hot Cocoa, and I try their various syrups in steamed oat milk, and it all still tastes lovely and comforting. My personal favorite year-around flavor is Eileen's homemade cinnamon swirl, but I can't recommend their seasonal flavors enough.
