It's been a hot minute since my wife and I have been here and we were so excited to come back. It was my turn to plan our date and we drove to Chico to this café. We love coming into the bright, space accented with lots of fresh plants. We were greeted by wonderful service that answered all of our questions and even gave suggestions for things that we can enjoy for the day. My wife and I ended up taking both of their morning buns which were especially delicious. We picked up a couple of stickers and enjoyed a croissant along with our avocado toast. I love that my wife and I get to come to places like this where we can enjoy hot drinks, delicious food, and a peaceful place where we can just talk and reconnect. My only regret is that I did not leave with a bottle of Chico chai to bring home. The next time we visit, we will definitely be bringing back at the very least a gallon. read more

I came here for lunch and ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a vegan berry scone. The location is so cute and very relaxing. It was a Tuesday afternoon and wasn't very busy so service seemed fairly quick. I would recommend the chai, it was very good. The scone was a bit in the soggy side but was still good. Next time I visit I would like to try one of the roasts as that seemed to be popular with the other people in the cafe. read more

Chico chai is my favorite chai ever!! It's got so much spice and it's not overly sweet. The new chai house is so gorgeous and the team is incredible. Sarah, the owner, is a genuinely kind hearted person. I've seen her interact with her guests in the chai house and she's always so bright and full of positive energy. They are constantly coming up with new chai recipes and seasonal toast specials. The Achaar egg toast is my favorite food option here, pretty sure they don't have anything like that anywhere else in Chico. Since then, I've bought at least 4 pounds worth of their chai (classic and herbal/non-caffeinated rooibos chai) loose leaf bulk tea. It's funny, I'm from Texas, so I get overly excited for Chico Chai anytime I visit. I had high hopes for the new location and it lived up to every expectation! My only wish is that they had runny egg options. (Maybe I'm wrong and they do have runny options.. I didn't ask!) Everything about the inside is super cozy and cute causing you to want to stay for a while and has a good amount of seating inside and out. I've tried both their chai and matcha and both are amazinggg. As someone who is picky with matcha Chico Chai probably has the best matcha in Chico as they use a ceremonial brand that I'm a fan of so I appreciate that. They offer a range of chai and are very informative and I have no cons on any of them. Their chai is teh best I've had and is just so good!
