Came here last night for dinner with some friends (group of 5 total). We had never been here and didn't really know what to expect, and had no idea they had "all you can eat." We arrived at 7:20 and tried to enter the restaurant, but the tiny entryway/ waiting area was already packed with people and too small for all of us to fit. There was no hostess around, so we waited outside until people left and we were able to smush inside. After about 15 min of waiting, a hostess finally started taking people to their tables. The restaurant was loud AF and there were large groups everywhere all jammed in together. Ordering drinks was difficult and I had to ask our waitress myself 4 times for a water and my friend asked for me twice himself. The idea of unlimited or all you can eat sushi is intriguing, but I settled on one roll and a salad (green dragon and the mixed salad with ginger dressing), but most of my group got unlimited. For the price, I do think it's worth it if you are that hungry... But keep in mind it will take forever... My husband and his friends that got unlimited were constantly wondering where certain items where they ordered and had to keep ordering those items again as they would never show up. The menu says for unlimited there is a 2 hour limit, and it took us over 2 hours to get everything we ordered. If you come here, just be prepared to wait a while. read more

I've been to a few of these in the area and have never had a problem. While the location is older, the best one is on 249. As they had no power last night, I went to this location on Kyukendal. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. My wife ordered the same thing every single time without issue. Was very basic. This time they gave me a hard time and charged me $3 more on top. My daughter wanted a soda and they now claimed there are no free refills whereas when I go to any other one, I don't have that problem. The service was disconnected as we gave our order to one server she entered it on the tablet and then another came over and did the same. The service was slow. When I approach the manager, he basically just shrugged. Very unhelpful. Doesn't care / doesn't want to care. Very frustrated. This is one of the best sushi places I have been to on my side of town. The service is awesome! The staff is friendly and attentive. Our food came out fast. Every roll that I ordered was delicious and fresh. I won't name them all because we tried so many. They were all amazing. My two young daughters loved everything on the menu. Sushi Hawa is a perfect date night or...well, even a group of friends or... wait... maybe ANY time you just want a great selection of Sushi and Japanese food for a flat price. For $29 (at the time of our visit) you can choose from an assortment of appetizers, salads, noodle dishes, grilled meats, sushi - both nigiri and rolls. Oh...and dessert. All you can eat. You do have a 2 hour minimum to consume all you can eat and the staff are quick to accommodate your orders. This was not our first visit, and every time, the wait staff is quick to remove dishes and place a refill order. They also accommodate kiddos with a reduced AYCE price. I wish they'd change up their sushi offerings by week on this menu.. just to allow for more variety. While they have an extensive sushi menu, they only have about 14 rolls in the AYCE menu. Not bad, but your favorite might be excluded. read more

This is one of my "always a good meal" go to spots in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is very comfortable, well managed and roomy. Even when it's crowded it still feels spacious and well organized. The food arrives fast, it's very tasty and beautifully presented. I have several favorites that I order over and over... the muscles. In my opinion the all you can eat option is well worth the money due to the vast variety and taste. You will never leave hungry. I personally do not indulge in a lot of raw food but I still find the cooked options plentiful. I can't wait to return. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is due to one recent incident that left a sour taste in my mouth. I arrived at 8pm on a weeknight, the kitchen closes at 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10. From the moment I walked in my waiter rushed me as if he had his car running. There was no way I was going to eat for an hour and a half. There was plenty of time before the kitchen closed. He insisted on bringing out my entrées, my dessert, and the check all at the same time. Then asked me twice if he could offer me a to go cup of lemonade lol ...I looked around the restaurant and I saw him treat other customers the same way, when I mentioned something to him about it he said "well you know how it is". The service has always been wonderful in the past so I was quite surprised with his attitude. I took my time and ate my food until the clock struck 10. I really wish I remembered his name, he made the experience very unpleasant. I guess the lesson is to not go there anywhere close to 8pm. An AYCE sushi place near Spring! For a little over $30/person Sushi Haya had good quality fish and decent sized portions of nigiri, sashimi, and rolls. The fish was pretty fresh and we were served fairly quickly. As far as the fish to rice ratio, I'd say there were fair amounts of both. I've been to many places where they try to overcompensate by filling you up with rice or skimping out on the fish, and this place doesn't do that. I also felt like the AYCE menu had a decent amount of variety and also cater to people that might love AYCE but not the biggest fan of raw sushi with a variety of cooked specialty rolls, hibachi items, fried rice, and a long list of appetizers. I do love sushi in all of its forms so, items I would recommend are the Lake Charles Roll, salmon sashimi, octopus nigiri, and the yellowtail jalapeno appetizer. Dessert is even included in the AYCE menu with items like fried oreos and tempura ice cream. I'd definitely recommend sushi lovers to give this place a try! read more

We saw the advertisement in FB of a new sushi restaurant in the Spring area and wanted to give it a try. It is an all you can eat sushi plus you can order from the menu if you don't want to do AYCC. They are in their grand opening phase. The service was great but the food is just good/average. We opted for the all you can eat for $29.99/adult for dinner. Presentation of the food need a bit of touch up. The onions and jalapeños slices on the appetizers were thick and they seem like an afterthought. The steak hibachi was over cooked when we asked for medium rare. The rolls we ordered had too much sushi rice and the rice was a bit over cooked which is soft and mushy. Overall, the service has a great and friendly where the food is not something that would keep you wanting to go back as your go to sushi restaurant. Hopefully they will continue to make adjustments along the way so there are many sushi places as competitors. read more

The staff was very inattentive and ignored us for our first 10 minutes there despite only having 3 other tables seated. Various staff looked at us and made eye contact and continued to ignore us. We asked a younger male if he could help us and he refused stating someone else would come by eventually and take our drink orders.
