Pretty average sushi place. It was crowded and service was very slow. The miso soup and salad were good. The spicy tuna sushi was ok and the salmon and tuna sushi pieces were fine. Nothing really stood out but overall, the flavors could have been better. Maybe the food could have been more premium or fresher. The asparagus roll had horseradish, and that should have been stated on the menu since that's a very acquired taste.

We really love Sushi Grove for AYCE. The rolls are more interesting and varied than most AYCE alternatives and the price is reasonable given it's 2025. The service has been quick and friendly every time we've been. Great spot.

Sushi grove is still one of our go to spots for All You Can eat! Gets pretty busy but never had to wait since theres alot of seating. The waiters are friendly and always around for when you're ready to order more! All the sushi was fresh and delicious, you will want to try them all but only 2 hour limit for AYCE. Must try the sushi thats not in a roll the fish and eel on top is worth it. Kids pay different price depending on their height which is nice.

Red the reviews about their AYCE sushi and decided to give it a try. AYCE for adult was $25.95 for dinner and for kids they charge by height. You are given a menu where you can choose appetizers, maki rolls and then sashimi (2 pieces per roll ordered) With the appetizers we tried the miso soup, hot/sour soup, agadash tofu, edamame, crab Rangoon and sesame balls. The miso soup was standard, nothing amazing and nothing bad. Hot and sour soup could have used more sour to it but had a decent heat and overall was ok. The agadash tofu was quite bland with little breading. Edamame could have used more salt as some were salted and others not. The crab Rangoon also were pretty standard. The sesame balls had the chewy mochi like texture you crave but the red been left a little to be desired as it was not very sweet. Overall the appetizers were ok. The sushi itself was pretty good, specially for AYCE and the selection was quite decent. The sushi itself was pretty good, not high grade of course but pretty good. The rolls had the right ratio of fish and other fillings, to rice and not overly sauced. We tried the volcano, spider, shrimp tempura, salmon/avocado, Philly, deep sea and red dragon. All were pretty good though the lettuce in the spider roll was strange. Service was great as our waitress was friendly and would always ask if we wanted to order more whenever she would stop by. Overall our party of four was there for an hour 15 min? When we received our first order, there was a roll that was missing. What was strange was how long it took to get just that roll. I thought they would have expedited that one roll but it took another 15 minutes or so. Overall it did take quite some time to get our orders ( we made two orders overall) but we enjoyed our meal. The sashimi itself we stuck to the salmon and tuna. Both were decent but for sashimi a higher grade is preferred so we went back to the maki after that. If you're looking for AYCE, Sushi Grove has pretty good selection with pretty good rolls at a decent price.

AYCE for $25. Great deal but here are my recommendations. The nigiri & sashimi were lackluster. Fried scallop is the kind with flour mixed in but it was tasty. Delicious were the spicy salmon & spicy tuna rolls, takoyaki & spring rolls. Good service. Ambiance was just fine. Spacious space. Definitely worth checking out.

Satisfied the sushi craving! The slices of fish were decently sized. The service was friendly. The feel of the restaurant was ok but I didn't like that the tables were really sticky.

I was meeting a friend there. Waiter was cheerful and helpful. The restaurant wasn't crowded at noon, which is unusual. Very clean, pristine. I ordered tea and lunch bento with shrimp teriyaki. Everything was fresh, tasty, miso soup was warm, shrimps nicely fried. Great place, still my favorite.

I've been going to Sushi Grove for eight years now, but I can no longer recommend this restaurant. I have been disappointed at the quality of the food and service in my last few visits. Today, I went to Sushi Grove with my family and we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food to be served. When it was brought out it was no longer at temperature and did not taste fresh. One other couple came at the same time as us, they finished their meal and left before our sushi was served to us. Our server never explained the delay or apologized for the wait. It because of this that I will now be going elsewhere for my sushi.

Service still somewhat slow. On a Sunday lunch, the three of us had AYCE and were there for close to 2hrs. Not because we got 50 plates of sushi. In fact, we each got 2 plates, 2-3 rolls each time. But each time took about 20-minutes, including appetizers which you would think would be fast considering you just need to drop stuff into a deep fryer, but that also took over 20-min. There were 7 staff members making sushi, but the wait was long. This is our 4th time and it's similar experience.

Sushi Grove AYCE is $18.95 @ lunchtime. That's a dam good deal, but I should have taken a pic before I devoured 70% of my tray

There's always someone at the counter ready to help, and the space is very clean. Food is good, not great but the prices are great. Would recommend.

Its been awhile since I've last come. And they have since moved locations within the same plaza and have updated, the interior looks a lot like the city sushi places. The place was busy on a weekday evening. We had a bigger party that had 3 separate sheets for orders. The order took a little while, with the hot food appetizers coming out first. The sushi came out and it was well wrapped and the rice to fish ratio was just about right. The mini single fish rolls- Hamachi or tuna or salmon were just right, perfect pop in your mouth bites. Overall a decent AYCE sushi experience. Kids are charged based on height, ranging from $4.50 all the way up to $15.

We tried coming here last night (Friday) It was going to be next to Impossible to get in or be an extraordinarily long wait. So we opted for lunch today. While the menu is smaller for all you can eat so was the price so that was a bonus! Our sushi was delicious! The rice was nice and fluffy and the seafood was very fresh! Although their "spicy" is a bit more than I'm used to, it wasn't too much. It's a cute calm place and pretty quiet for as crowded as it was. Our server was very attentive and very nice! This was a great weekend afternoon choice for a quick and tasty lunch ! I'm very glad we included it as part of our girls weekend plan!

Twenty pieces in all, but substantially more food than you'd expect from two rolls. And, it was really, really good! We ended up sharing both of our entrees, and had an entire crunch roll leftover to bring home. A few weeks later, I'm still thinking about that spicy crunch. Vin 90 has a pretty wide variety from pub grub to sushi. Prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing about it. The menu still has a few items that aren't as pricy though. This was Orange vodka, ginger beer, and lime with a kick. Because we're pretty cheap we got the cheapest food on the menu just about. The Maki rolls are about $5 or so. Much better than the $65 Lobster Rolls. We got the Avocado and Cucumber Rolls, and these were probably about as good as those, just saying. Proves you can cheap out here. The rolls were a pretty good amount for the cheap price. Could check this place out some time again. It has cheap and very expensive items. The pieces of sashimi are good sized with appropriate amount of rice in each piece. The salmon kama is a nice appetizer. It comes out scorching hot and crispy. It can be tricky to eat because of the bones, but worth the work! I really like the design of the booths with the authentic decor resembling Japanese architecture. Since my kids had a lot of afternoon activities again and I didn't feel like cooking I decided to get carry out from Chicago Ramen. I placed an order for two Chicken Ramen with an egg. I showed up about 10 minutes later and they were already packing my order. I've always been impressed with how quickly they get the orders ready, but I guess everything is already premade which makes it easier. I ended up adding a wonton soap for one of my daughters since she just burnt her fish sticks at home and needed a back up. As I was waiting for my food I glanced at the chef and noticed that while he was packing our ramen he was NOT wearing any gloves and added the eggs with his bare hands!! I found it shocking and disturbing... Everything was packed well, and as I got home and got our ramen and wonton soup ready for dinner, I realized that instead of the wonton soup, they ended up giving me shrimp broth without any dumplings. I gave them a call and they apologized and offered a refund. I guess it wasn't meant for my daughter to have dinner that night... My husband and I did enjoy our chicken ramen...but I skipped my egg. We both woke up this morning super swollen and realized there was a ton of salt in the food. I'm not sure I will be back and might need to explore some other ramen places in the area. * Easy street parking right out front. * 2 Chicken ramen with an egg $37

However, it has been our go-to place for ramen takeout for some time now, this review is focused on their takeout ramen. After about two years' time, we have narrowed our preferences to the Red Miso Ramen with Egg and the White Miso Ramen with Egg. Both ramen comes with a big piece of Cha-Shu (pork), bamboo shoot, and green onion. The Cha-Shu is very tender and flavorful, and the egg cooked just right. The ramen noodles are bouncy with the right texture. When it comes to broth, the White Miso Ramen is definitely a winner over the Red Miso. I found the broth of the Red Miso a little too thick and there is a taste that makes it less pleasant than the other. There is ground pork in the broth of the White Miso, which adds flavor and complexity to the texture. Portions used to be very big, and I used to have leftovers. However, recently portions have shrunk and I could finish the entire bowl of White Miso Ramen with Egg in one meal with no problems. It would not be enough to feed someone with a bigger appetite than me. They had made a couple of mistakes in our takeout orders a year ago. Since then, they have been accurate with the orders and timing has also improved. I am pleased to have Chicago Ramen in our neighbor town, and a bowl of tasty ramen is so close by. I just saw that they have added Shrimp Wonton Ramen (and two other items) to their menu recently. Next time I might give that a try.
