This used to be Saya Sushi and was one of my favorite places to patron for lunch. They remodeled and opened as Sushi Blue a few weeks ago and I've been wanting to check them out. I wanted to try the lunch special, 3 rolls for $15.99. They require you dine in for this special, so this was my first time doing so. I got yellowtail, spicy tuna and Alaskan rolls. They came with soup or salad I opted for miso soup. They remodeled and it's really modern bright and airy inside. My sushi was good and plentiful, I think I liked the Alaskan roll the least. I don't like that they charge a differential/service charge on your bill based on if you use cash or not :/

Yes Love n Happiness , I found Chef James who left Sushi Bar in Taylor late last year. He did a stint in Ann Arbor and now a Hot New Sushi Blue in Livonia. Just open little over a week, the word is out. My absolutely favorite Sushi Chef ever, as many reviews stated. Over a hundred 5 star reviews on Yelp and hundreds on Google. Yes he's a star for a very good reason, a must visit. Chef James at Sushi Blue Livonia MI are overwhelmingly positive, highlighting his skill as a host and chef who makes guests feel like family. Diners praise his friendly demeanor, his personal attention to ensure an excellent meal, and the quality of his carefully crafted sushi and other dishes. We had lunch 3rd day open, absolutely blown away. Special 3 Roll lunch with Miso Soup and choice of a dozen plus Sushi Rolls . I added a Raman Bowl only $5 marvelous . Had leftovers for dinner always affordable and delicious. She had Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, truly a winner. Hey they even brought one of the waitress from old Taylor location, totally five star service . Got to meet Chef James wife, truly a very nice person. It was a funky little spot. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Legit. For sushi so far one of the best in Michigan.

Impressed to say the least! When we walked in, we were greeted and immediately sat. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and bright. We ordered the kimchi fries as an appetizer, then for sushi we ordered tuna nigiri, whatta salmon roll, cali roll, and the black dragon roll. The kimchi fries were good, first time I've had kimchi so I can't compare, but the portion was decent. When the rolls and nigiri came out, the display was great! I was impressed to see how fresh and vibrant the color and the quality was and I just couldn't get over it. Every bite I found my self nodding my head with enjoyment and excited for the next. I've been to a couple other sushi spots around the area and I felt this places quality and taste was the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be thinking of Sushi Blue when I'm craving sushi and can't wait to their other items.

Snow crab .... Geisha roll

Ordered 4 different types of rolls to go on their mobile order. All were excellent !! Prices for the fancy ones were on the high end around 16$ for 8 pieces. Other than that everything was good and ready when promised ! We will be back. Snow crab cali White flame Geisha Philly

The layout includes three bars: the main bar, the sushi bar, and the tiki bar. The crab rangoon cheese katsu sticks were as good as they sound. I was worried there wouldn't be much crab, but that wasn't the case. The lobster tail robata was easy to peel, and complemented well by its accompaniments. The pork belly robata was tender, while the tare added some sweetness. Of the two, I preferred the pork belly. I've had four of the six bao buns. The chicken had a char flavor, and the steak sauce added some welcome moisture. The filet was tender, with a bold but not overbearing garlic aioli. The pork belly was also tender, glazed with a sweet honey, and balanced by some savory pickles. The sausage had a nice snap, and the Fresno peppers gave it a bit of a kick. The filet and pork belly were my two favorites. The sushi is some of the best I've had locally. The shikotsu roll (wagyu and bone marrow) was incredibly rich and buttery. $36 may seem steep, but it's the most memorable sushi roll I've ever had. The toro (fatty tuna) to caviar was also very impressive, and had soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Here's how I rank the nigiri I've tried: 1. Tamago (omelette) 2. Madai (sea bream) 3. Aji (horse mackerel) 4. Shima Aji (striped jack) 5. Ikura (salmon roe) 6. Uni (sea urchin) Lastly, for dessert, I've had the key lime pie. It was remarkably fluffy and honestly one of the best slices I've had. Simply put, TigerLily blew me away. I can confidently say it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Metro Detroit area. I'll be back soon to try the brunch, noodle, and sandwich options.

I am not great with Asian seasonings so unsure which ones they use. The ham is sweet so the Benedict is a great mix of sweet, smokey, and savory. Definitely the best I've had. I love the pancakes here. There is something unique about them I can't put my finger on. The syrup is also really good. They're even good warmed up the next day. Bloody Mary is nothing special. I wish they'd do something unique like a wasabi or kimchi version. We've been here twice for just brunch. One of my favorite places. If they had a mimosa deal, it'd be perfect.

I have lived in Canton for most of my life, but after meeting my husband he introduced me to the…read moreRedford area. Chin's was about 5 minutes away from his home and he absolutely adores it. He always gets the almond chicken combination dinner with white rice and sweet and sour sauce instead of gravy. He has always loved it. I have only been a handful of times and have gotten the shrimp and chicken. I have not been the biggest fan myself as I do feel it could be cooked a bit more. Their rice also leaves something to desire. It doesn't always seem completely mixed. The times I have been they have had their dining area closed due to COVID- I am not sure if that has re-opened at this time. It seems like a neat place to hang out and I've heard great things about the interior. The people who work here are awesome and are always nice and welcoming. I appreciate that! Genuinely I have enjoyed their food, but the consistency isn't always there. I haven't been in a minute, but hope to revisit soon to update this review. You guys have a good place going.

Well, soon as we walked in, they had a large hand written notice stating pick up orders only no dining. Time was already late and we didn't want to drive another 10 to 15 minutes to go somewhere else so we waiting the 20 minutes to get our food. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and he ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce. Mine was really good and his meal he said was just ok. The shrimp and lobster sauce looked more like brown gravy and he did not like the flavor. So I know he was a bit disappointed, my meal was great, the fried shrimp was perfect and so was the rice, I added my own garlic butter and made it perfect.
