Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll and assorted nigiri sushi (sold a la carte)

Some of the best tasting and freshest sushi I have had in a while. And their katsu curry is also outstanding. Plus very friendly, kind service. Highly recommend!

Really nice hidden gem with good lunch specials and delicious udon. We got the shrimp tempura udon and the Philadelphia roll, salmon crunch, and 007 roll.

    Shoyu ramen good!

Great price. Great food. Authentic sushi and Japanese food. Ramen and katsu curry are great. I ate ramen this time. Very good!

They are open until 9 PM tonight. The restaurant is oddly laid out. Front area is divided by the sushi bar. The front area is blocked off from anyone sitting by the bar. Ordered two green house salads, lobster rolls, spicy california, futomaki, 2 Philly roll with crab salad instead of shrimp and a bamboo roll to go. They don't have any sriracha sauce at all, odd. Only could get up charge of spicy Mayo. Total was $52.47, not so cheap, hope it's good. I don't eat sushi without Sriracha, then everything would be bland and boring. No I have to go find a place where I can find some Sriracha, a bit of an inconvenience. The Philly roll was my favorite with the replaced crab salad and green onion. The rest of the rolls were just OK. The Futomaki was too fishy and they were only five pieces. The fake lobster roll was also not my thing. It also had roe in the mix with the fake lobster too. The California roll was so-so. The bamboo wasn't special and too slimy for my liking. The salads were blah. The meal as a whole was underwhelming. The rules were all pretty small for what you get you get here, definitely overpriced.

Amazing. Some of the most authentic Japanese food in town. And this is coming from someone who just came back from Japan . Highly recommend checking out this place. The sushi is fresh. And they even have items like fatty tuna.

Enjoyed eating in a restaurant after such a long hiatus away bc of covid. Sushi Den was well prepared with precautions and we felt very comfortable dining there. The service was excellent. The ambience just so so. The fish quality very good. It's not fancy or elaborate in any way but if you want a relatively affordable sushi/sashimi choice, this fits the description. It's probably a 3.5 star overall. But I'll round up bc of the friendly staff and quick, attentive service. And I would come here again.

Some of the best Gyoza I've ever had, the sauce was amazing!

The star of the show every time, the sushi. We have our favorites that we order regularly, such as the chicken tempura roll, so good. Yesterday, we ordered the BBQ roll: Fried pickle, mozzarella cheese inside. Torched New York strip beef on top. Finished with spicy mayo, bbq sauce and fried onions. What creativity! Unique and delicious! The NY strip was so tender as well! We also enjoyed the steamed shrimp Shumai, the kashi katsu and chicken donburi. Lunch comes with miso soup and a small salad with the most delicious dressing! We will be back soon!

My name is Dave and I'm here to say... it's alright. I love the whole stylistic blow-show they present when you first get a table. The post-war Japanese influenced architecture and plates/bowls. It's definitely eye candy; and speaking of candy, let's move onto the food. Moving on from the so-so transition into the food, I have a note. I haven't been here in a couple weeks, I'm quite late to this review. I don't remember the names of everything on the menu. Sorry, I have to go off of duct-tape memory and Yelp's 100% always working, fully functional AI generated menu system. My life is so easy! Would it sound possible that dessert was my least favorite thing we ate during our visit? Well, you'd be surprised. It's a backhanded compliment, but a compliment nonetheless. The Tofu Ramen was a little too soft but it had a nice flavor profile, and the Spicy Sushi we got was also quite nice. The Cherry-chapped Tempura we got was not enjoyable, even though it was prepared delicately and looked very attractive. Something about Tempura 90% of the time, it just shouldn't be a thing. (Says the uncultured white that has never experienced good Tempura). Overall, I respect Sushi House. I respect it because it tries, and I believe it doesn't attempt to be anything it isn't. However, it definitely feels more pretentious the more you dig in. (3/5)

I commend the chef and the waitress in multi tasking and running this little shop of theirs. They're not trying to make it trendy, or fancy, or fusion of any sorts. They're doing what they love and they're doing their best! And sometimes it's worth the credit that is deserved. Majority of them speak fluent Japanese and a bit of English. They have great combo deals that will please your palette. A bit over whelming at first but got the hang of it in reading their menus on the walls. We ordered the hamburger combo which has that sweetness to it. Karage (Japanese fried chicken), spaghetti, rice, and usually a croquette but was subbed in with a pork katsu which was a plus! We also ordered their tofu udon, a full size pork katsu, fried squid, and Tekka Don. Everything was simply great. Granted there was no wow factor but overall I was satisfied. I will definitely come back again to try out their other dishes. But would be great if they find more people to help out. If you speak Japanese/English they're looking! Just fyi! The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!
