Their sashimi was about 50% larger than what is considered normal in America and the fish on the sushi totally covered the rice were large enough to touch the plate on both ends as you may witness at better establishments. You MUST get their spicy tuna and salmon sashimi served in a hollowed out lemon. To me, this was the perfect definition to this restaurant and should have been their signature speciality as it was modern, unique, and most importantly delish! This dish was actually the first spicy tuna that was kind of spicy which made it phenomenal. They come in perfect small bite sized cuts and were perfectly dressed in their spicy mayo sauce Was not a huge fan of their signature dragon eye roll. Their salmon was baked too much and didnt provide a good texture but I usually don't eat cooked salmon for that reason.

I came in around 9PM on a Tuesday, and they're supposed to be open until 10PM but it didn't seem like it. I've never been so passive aggressively run out of a place. The restaurant itself is just very dark and the outside is not very inviting - I thought I went to the wrong place.

The menu is accessed through a QR code on the table, which I'm personally not a huge fan of since I try to stay off my phone while dining. That said, the menu is extensive with plenty of variety, so there really is something for everyone. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. We ordered the Gyoza, California Roll, Ruby Roll, Tekka Don, and Miso Soup. Everything was good, but the Tekka Don was definitely my favorite, and the Miso Soup was delicious as well. The drinks were probably the biggest disappointment. The beer was overpriced, especially considering the serving sizes and compared to what we've paid for many of the same beers at other restaurants, where they're often available on draft as well. The wine selection could also use some major improvement. Most of the options leaned toward the sweeter side, and the quality just didn't seem to match the quality of the food. Since I couldn't find a wine I wanted, I ordered the Lychee Martini instead. It was okay, but definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn't have ordered a second pretty sweet. The wine and cocktails are priced similarly to what you'd expect to pay for higher-end drinks, but unfortunately, the quality just isn't there. These felt more like $7 drinks being sold at premium prices. Even the presentation of my martini was a little strange--it was garnished with two loose flower petals rather than a full flower, which looked more odd than intentional. Unfortunately, the drink selection would probably be the biggest reason we'd choose carryout or another restaurant next time. When I go out for dinner, having a really good glass of wine or a well-made cocktail is part of the experience for me, especially when the drinks are priced at a premium. Service was friendly, and our server was helpful and knowledgeable, but unfortunately it was slow. It took a while to get drinks, additional soy sauce, or have someone check back with us, and we had to flag our server down several times. To be fair, they definitely weren't standing around doing nothing. Bash seemed to have a steady stream of carryout orders, and our server spent much of our visit packing those orders. We actually felt bad for how slammed they were compared to the rest of the servers. It seems like they either need a dedicated person handling carryout or additional staff so the dine in service doesn't suffer when takeout is busy. Overall, the food was excellent and absolutely worth returning for. With some improvements to the drink selection and staffing, the dine in experience could be just as good as the food.

We made it easy and ordered a mixed selections. The miso soup had very generous fresh seaweed which is very nice. The flavour is towards the heavier side. There is only one kind of tempura, but it's good. What's most amazing is the sushi. We ordered a small boat for 3 ppl that included both sushi & sashimi. The sashimi is so thick and chunky total worth every penny! Next I tried the sushi. Once I grabbed the 1st sushi, I already noticed the difference than a lot of sushi I had. Each piece is actually handmade, by the chef, not by box pressed. The rice is so dense, so consistent, temperature is just right. You will get equal fish meat and rice for every bite. It is so yum. I was very impressed with such a small shop, yet quality is so high and delivered well. Keep up the good work!

Sushi tacos, you get 2. I tried the marinated salmon. The flavor was good but, FOR ME, I wasn't a fan of the abundance of fish in the taco (it's a texture thing). Aside from that, the taco was still crispy by the time I made it home 14 mins later & packed with flavor. The push up sushi roll was my favorite. Such a cool idea! The Kani (sp) salad was cool too. The crab could have been shredded up more but that's nothing to complain about. Lastly was the strawberry and cream milk bread! Spectacular, give me 14 of em!!
