Came in with 2 foodie reviewers from Las Vegas and we didn't even get to eat half the food because the taste was off but worst part was the presentation!! I looked around and noticed David the head sushi chef and face of the restaurant is gone. My favourite servers she's gone and MJ is my husbands fave and well he got let go as well. I've had a talk with few others at my business and next door and they mentioned that new owner and his mother bought the restaurant quick and cheap. New rude mid 20's young owner & his mother running this establishment as of July 1. Old owner sold due to health we were told from him in June. Sushi Chef/Mgr Dave & original workers ( EVEN funny MJ) are gone. Portions reduced, prices significantly increased and the attitude of the owners is unacceptable. Don't waste your time. Not the same as it was for the last 8 years I've been here. Very sad that some new young know it all, old took over, is rude to staff and customers that the staff have to quit! Just cause you have all the money in the world, if your attitude and personality doesn't blend or there's no sincerity and gratefulness for your customers then it won't work. You're in the wrong field.

The donburi looked good with sufficient portion for a strong man. It was tasty, however as I kept eating the soy chicken karaage got more and more salty. Finally I couldn't have anymore. I finished the rice and it was well cooked. I drank two cups of tea after having the donburi. I didn't try other dishes, perhaps I will give them a try when I come here next time. I do hope the chef could make it less salty. Apart from that, service was fine and the ambient was quiet and tidy.

I have been a fan of Togo Sushi for years and have always had a solid experience. Was craving sushi…read moreone evening and decided to place a take out order via Uber Eats. The New West location happened to be the closest one to order from, the first time I have tried it. First off, Togo sushi is great in terms of value, quality, and quantity. We ordered a Salmon Avocado roll, Tropical roll, and aburi salmon roll. For nirgri's, we ordered the 2 salmon, one Tomago, one chopped scallop, and one unagi. There was an Uber Eats promo so we got a free order of tomago fries. The tomago fries were surprisingly tasty and I actually would recommend and order again. The nirgri's were average - the scallop didn't seem as fresh as previous times I have had from other Togo locations. The salmon avocado roll was disappointing as it didn't taste very fresh. It's usually one of my go to staple rolls and hard to screw up but this one didn't hit the spot. The aburai roll was good though. The tropical roll I previously had from the Metrotown location and was good but was only okay this time around. Overall, a bit disappointing experience but was great value for how much food we got. The tomago fries was the unexpected stand out star.
