So Miss Susan, is very knowledgeable and intelligent in skin care. She was able to discuss my skin concerns on camera and be very professional. I get to try her skin care line per her directions and keep a dairy journaling my journey. Her nurse was able to give me a peel and injections for acne, hyperpigmentation, and maybe melsma, she mentioned. She 100% is sure she can cure my skin. She made me feel myself, confident. She gave me compliments about how nice my face is and my cheeks are nice all that good stuff! We're also filming a new skin show and I'll be apart of it along with Miss Nicole Murphy! She works with celebrities. Looking forward to coming back for my results and the show! read more

(If you want the short version scroll down to my pictures, they speak for themselves! ) Dr. Susan is absolutely amazing. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and an amazing doctor. She listens to her patients and truly cares for them. Before I went to her I previously saw three dermatologist in Newport Beach in the span of a little more than a year but just wasn't getting any results (I went regularly and followed all protocols). The medication's made me sick, the products burned and itched. and the doctors were just OK. I felt rushed out of appointments. I would call with questions, but no one would call me back about the answers. late appointments and I just didn't feel like my concerns were taken seriously. It was like time and results didn't matter. If I could do it over, I would've started off by going to Dr. Susan in Beverly Hills in a heartbeat! Dr. Susan is compassionate and took the time to hear me out regarding the emotional toll the acne took on me. She was clear about her plan of action and the protocols I needed to follow. Her staff was very experienced and sweet. The rooms were very nice. It made the chemical peels so easy. Everything they used on me was new. If I had any questions I could call in and I would get an answer immediately. It was very easy to book an appointment, and they don't make you wait forever for an appointment. It is incredible how quickly I started seeing results after switching to her, my confidence has sky rocketed since becoming her pt. I will be coming here for life. BTW these results are only from 3 appointments! read more

I can't give enough stars to Dr Susan, she is the bar for customer service and her skillset as a doctor is unmatched. Had some skin cancer concerns over the years including recently and the procedures she did on me gave me my confidence back. Her staff is super nice and comforting and nobody should ever go to anybody else, I could write all day about her and it still wouldn't be enough. read more

Best dermatologist, has great deals, also works with Alle and you get points which cn lead to good discounts- just used $60 towards a treatment. She never makes you look plastic or overdone, she has a great eye, she is a very sweet and kind woman and very helpful. All staff is very welcoming and professional. I have been coming here for 20 years, initially for scar treatment, but she has helped me with moles, maintaining my skin tone, reducing wrinkles and fine lines, laser treatment for bikini area, laser for spider veins and more recently I am using the weight management system she provides. She is an excellent caregiver and an amazing beautiful person- I would recommend her to anyone read more

nNew location -AMAZING SERVICE !! I have been coming to Dr. Susan Evans for about 8 years and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. in my twenties my skin suffered from severe acne and hyper pigmentation. I tried everything ! And I mean everything ! Enter Dr.Susan - my face cleared up after a couple of chemical peels and brightening cream. Fast forward to three kids later and a botched laser from a different place resulting in complete loss of color in my skin. I thought I would have to live with the skin discoloration but Alas! Dr.Evans saved the day ! I was scared to try micro needling but not only does it work she is effective without causing any pain read more

This woman gave me the most uneven under eye filler of my entire life. Years later it still has not evened out and my face is now asymmetrical. I went into her office with a symmetrical young face and left botched. To add insult to injury, on this day, she walked into the exam room still half eating her lunch and proceeded to slowly, almost drunkenly, inject an ENTIRE VIAL of juvederm on a single eye... leaving virtually none for the other eye. It was almost as if she had popped a few pills beforehand, because what kind of doctor slowly injects an obviously uneven amount of filler into the patients face? I knew this was wrong and pointed it out during the procedure. She minimized my concerns. Guess what she offered as a remedy? A prorated additional vial of juvederm at my expense under the other eye to even things out. Or she offered to let me pay to have it dissolved. No refund no discount nothing. I ALSO NEVER SAW THE DOCTOR OPEN A FRESH VIAL OF JUVEDERM. VIALS WERE ALWAYS OPEN AND PRESENTED ON A TRAY. no visible box, labels etc. lighting is very uneven and imbalanced in her exam rooms (more like closets) so she really doesn't stand a chance to do any cosmetic procedure properly. She doesn't measure or mark for symmetry, just eyeballs everything. Patients beware. read more

I have to say that Dr. Susan Evans is still amazing! I've been Dr. Evans patient now for six years and she never disappoints. She has maintained a level of excellence regarding her procedures, her products, as well her compassion, kindness and genuine concern for her patients. Patient satisfaction is her goal. She always wants to make sure that her patients are comfortable and she still engages in great conversation during the procedures which I find so comforting and relaxing. Also her products really work! Regarding her products, I've been using them for years and I always get compliments on my complexion. I love Dr. Evan's, she's an amazing doctor and I'm so lucky and thankful to have found her. read more

My whole experience at Dr. Susan's office was very pleasant. I had a groupon for two chemical peels I called to schedule my first appointment and was given an appointment within the week. I arrived for my appointment and after filling out the forms was taken to my room. Althought the place is very nice this is a clinical experience not a spa experience. She came into the room very friendly and explained the whole procedure for during and what I should do after. She answered my questions. And then gave me time to wash my face with their antimicrobial soap. She returned and began the procedure, which I have to tell you STUNG! I am pretty tough and when she said it would burn I kinda shrugged it off but my eyes watered throughout the procedure. Thankfully the procedure is quick and she fans your face with a mini fan to reduce the burn and then lets you rinse it off with cool water for as long as you need till the burn stops. She then returns to apply a moisturizer and the procedure is all over. My skin although sensitive looked instantly better. Looking forward to my next appointment for even better results read more

I had 2 IPL photofacials with good results. If this review were based purely on that, I would give it a higher rating. However, when choosing a business, there are other factors to consider such as customer service, which is where this establishment loses a lot of its points. Constructive feedback for Dr Evans and her staff: It would be nice if staff members actually smiled and created more of a friendly and welcoming feeling both over the phone and in the waiting area. It would also be very nice if they could actually return phone calls and/or emails in a timely manner. I had a question for the after-care of my skin following the IPL facial and was put on hold every time I called, and could not find information on their website, so I emailed them and never got a reply. I also needed to reschedule an appointment and waited for them to return my calls...eventually getting back in...months later. The two individuals who provided the IPL facials were competent and friendly, giving me verbal instructions on the care of my skin, but it would have been nice to send me home with maybe a handout or something with patient education for follow up. It is not entirely necessary, but would have been nice. I hope that Dr Evans can make these improvements in teaching her staff to handle customers in a way that is inviting. If she can, her business has potential to be 5-star. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 4 IPL facials and had nothing but great experiences on each visit. Yes, the phone service and office decor is a bit odd/amateur but the actual IPL facials were a great experience with AMAZING results. The machine appears to be new and the technician handles it with precision. My only real complaint is how much it burns during the treatment - numbing cream would help but they seem opposed to that. The pain is well worth the results, however.. almost all of my freckles and sun damage have been erased and my complexion is so much more even. The results were so dramatic, even after the first visit, that i'm hooked in IPL for life! One more note.. the technician that gave me the IPL Facials was fantastic! She went over everything with me in great detail and explained the entire process before beginning. She was very friendly, took her time, and was always respectful of my pain threshold. She made the experience 200% better. read more

I am a patient of Dr. Evans for many year's and she is the BEST when it comes to dermatology. She can make your skin flawless and easily take 15 years off your face. With Botox she was able to give me a brow lift, with Restalyn she plumbed areas of my face that had noticeable lines. I give her 5-Stars, 2-Thumbs Up, and a score of 10 out of 10. You Will NOT be disappointed. PatD read more

Susan has been my dermatologist for years. I've have nothing but good experiences with Dr. Evans, Maggie, and Mary.

Generally you go see a dermatologist when you are having some sort of skin issue or thing you want to address. After seeing several dermatologists over a few years and never getting results I came across Dr. Evans. Not only does this doctor take the time to listen to all of your challenges and concerns, but she is direct and aggressive in her approach yielding the best results. Her team is extremely knowledgeable and super sweet. She is straight to the point with her approach to targeting all your skin needs. Her experience and expertise creates an environment that trumps any other in this field. I have found the best dermatologist and if you are needing to figure out who to go to she is your golden opportunity to skin health. The best thing is, if you are on the fence about a protocol, she is a straight shooter and if she doesn't think it is right for you she won't try and sell you on any service or treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Evans. read more

Dr. Susan is amazing!! I don't understand how she has negative comments. I see most of them are from Groupon so it may have just been that there were too many people and just a rush. Her products are amazing and she honestly helped me save my face! I had horrible acne and I mean horrible. My face was full of pimples and especially my chin. I would hate to go out and I would never take pictures. I found Dr. Susan through a friend of a friend and on my first week my face was absolutely cleared!!! I use my face wash and toner and face pads religiously and randomly will get a pimple here and there but nothing like before. I can deal with one or two pimples but not 50 of them. I have been going to Dr. Susan now for over 4 years and couldn't be happier. Maggy is awesome and so is Mariam and Dr. Susan is a sweat heart!! They take such good care of me and my skin. I've been going there once a month for 4 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Oh and her peels are amazing. No ugly peeling and you can go on with your day and it still does it's job. So overall Dr. Susan's and office are great. If you have problem skin you definitely need to go there. read more

I took away one star because of Mary...the very RUDE, un-welcoming receptionist. She's the one with the very thick foreign accent who's SUPPOSED to greet you when you first walk in. I arrived for one of my appointment and she was on a personal call with someone named Nikki. I stood at the desk waiting for her to end her call as I had some questions to ask regarding my treatment. She told me to have a seat, I told her I had questions. She set the phone down, without ending her call, and then very quickly and un-thouroughly, semi-answered my questions, then picked up the phone and continued her coversation with Nikki. Why come to work if you're not gonna work? If it wasn't for us as clients, she wouldn't even have a job! I took away another star because of the wait. Even if you arrive on time for your appointment, they will NEVER get you in on time to begin your treatment. I've been about 4 times already and I've always had to wait at least 20 minutes, sometimes longer, to be seen. Make sure you're not pressed for time when you schedule an appointment. I gave one star for Dr. Evans, because she is a sweetheart and really does want the best for your skin. She knows what she's doing and she's awesome. I had an appointment for an IPL photofacial, but after analyzing my skin, she recommended that I have some chemical peels instead (at no extra cost). I'm so glad I took her advice! I gave another star for the nurses (the ones who actually administer the treatments). In the 4 times that I have been, it seems like I get a different nurse every time, however, they are all very nice and very helpful and willing to answer any questions that you have. Finally I gave the last star for the results that I've gotten from the treatments. I've been to so many Medical Spas in Beverly Hills, LA, Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Monica, etc. mainly for chemical peels. While I have had positive results with most of them, Dr. Susan's peels have given me the best results when it comes to targeting hyperpigmentation, discoloration and acne scarring, which is my main concern when it comes to my skin. read more

After seeing her on a variety of TV shows, I decided to visit Dr. Susan Evans for mole removal and laser hair removal. You have to schedule your appointment several weeks or longer in advance (which is understandable due to her popularity) however when I would have an appointment, she regularly had patients waiting 1 - 2 hours to be seen. I was NEVER seen on time. My mole removal went well. I was very satisfied with the results. I had over 20 moles removed. My laser treatment did not go well. I was quoted 4-7 treatments. I had 11 with little results. It could be my hair. I had my underarms and chin treated. My underarm hair was coarse, my chin hairs were very fine. Dr. Evans was not personable/ friendly either. Here staff was nice. I started laser treatments somewhere else and the experience has been much better. I would recommend her for mole removal b/c of my results. Just be prepared for an extremely long wait time and a not so friendly doctor. I do not recommend for laser treatments. read more

Before purchasing 2 IPL photofacials, I called the office and asked if Dr. Evans would be performing the procedures. I was informed that Dr. Evans would either perform the procedures or have a consultation with me before the procedure would be performed by a qualified technician. Neither choice was made available the days I showed up for my appointments. I asked to see Dr. Evans for a consultation but she was picking up her daughter from school one day and she wasn't in the office for the other. One technician tried to give me cotton to cover my eyes after I asked for protective eyewear to use during the photofacial. That pretty much says it all. I do not recommend this place. read more

I have been receiving peels from this Dr Evans for about 6 months. Now I just use the products and I don't think my skin has been this clear since I was a child. I purchased some chemical peels though Groupon with my friend and we went over together. The nurse was lovely and my skin is thicker than my friend's and they tailored each of our peels to our type of skin and the various results we were looking for. They were fantastic. This morning another friend who didn't know I had the peel yesterday mentioned it right away that it looked great. I'm excited that when I told them I have thicker skin they just gave me a stronger acid and addressed some areas I needed a bit more. They didn't try and upsell me and just do what the Groupon said they made it perfect for me. I will be going back and already recommend two people and I only went yesterday, my skin is not even healed to where it will look its best. This is a place to go get your skin straight. read more

I had a wonderful experience in Dr. Evans office. The staff is overall very nice and welcoming. I had the most amazing facial which showed almost immediate results. I will definitely be returning! read more

Waited one hour and 15 minutes for my first and LAST appointment. I had to leave after a quickie look-see by Dr. Evans and therefore did not have time to get a treatment or purchase any products. Dr Susan and her staff have treated my son Brandon and I for a few years. She's excellent with ethnic skin and knows what to recommend. I was really apprehensive about this experience because I purchased the groupon for an IPL, and called in November to find out my appointment would be mid March. I booked it because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of going through Groupon. Her voice mail message says that if you leave a message, they will call you back. (They didn't.) The customer service is pretty bad over the phone, but I will say when I finally arrived 5 months later, I had a great experience. Parking is free across the street in a structure. The waiting room is oddly decorated in cheap furniture/shelves for a Beverly Hills dermatologist. The receptionist is friendly in person, and the nurse was great. I was treated immediately, without waiting, and was in and out faster than at any other dermatologist I've visited. I truly value that they respect my time. I think the nurse that gave me the IPL was fantastic! I have done several with different dermatologists, and she was the best yet. She went over problem areas again, when others won't do it. My nose has always had difficulty and she got almost all the freckles off my nose! To me, its absolutely worth it to have her treat me even though it took forever to get my appointment. Plus, you can't beat the groupon price. I will say I think some products are overpriced - I purchased Latisse for $150 when I have previously paid $125, or even gotten buy one, get one free deals in the past. Service and outcome is great, if you have the patience to wait. read more

I received a chemical peel. I can not begin to tell you of the wonderful service from beginning to end. All of the staff from the front office to the nurse and Dr Evans are courteous, professional and well versed. The results are amazing. I was referred by a friend who has flawless skin. The burning feeling is not that bad at all and the chemical peel did not take long. I seen immediate results as soon as i got out the chair. I am so happy she referred me. My skin is now like a new born baby. I am so happy... If you're looking to have flawless skin, this is the place to go. read more

I had the same experience with my Groupon IPL. I tried to book an appointment and was told not till June. Then I asked to have my Groupon credited to another service and they said no, and to call Groupon to get a refund. Luckily with a bit of back and forth I did get a credit from Groupon. I have the feeling that Dr. Evans regretted the Groupon and did everything they could to turn away the buyers. read more

Trashy, RUDE receptionist! Tried the IPL 4 treatments with limited results. Lots of hype, bull---- results.

On the WOOP WOOP to WAH WAHHH scale:...WOOP WOOP all the way! Who: I've been twice and while I've never seen or even met Dr. Evans herself, her RN that does the peels is fantastic. I can't remember her name to save my life, however. Regardless, she is very smart and answered all of my "I'm freaking out before you put chemicals on my face" questions. What: I normally don't buy medical treatments from Groupon. Not for any particular reason other than fear. However, I researched her and reviews relentlessly and decided to make this my first and I couldn't be happier. I got two chemical peels and yes, it burns for a bit but they literally leave it on for just 2 minutes. They hold a little fan on your face to ease the burn then you rinse and they apply sunscreen on you. Super fast. Where: In the heart of beautiful Beverly Hills. Parking is across the street and easy breezy beautiful cover girl. Going to the restroom is a bit of a pain, believe it or not. You have to leave the office, go to the building entrance next door and go upstairs. No biggie, but don't hold it til the bitter end, know what I'm sayin?! Why: Because my skin is like butta'. I wish I had bought more because the peels are pricey but I will definitely be back. I'm in my late 30s and have been looking for new ways to erase fine lines and wrinkles and this definitely helped. I feel like it also has minimized the look of my pores. What to remember: You will not look great for a few days. It's not a major peel but it definitely works and that means that you will have some funky spots until they peel. Mine lasted around 4 days. I recommend having it done on a Thursday if you can take off Friday or have it done on Friday and plan on staying in all weekend. It's not scary but it's not pretty. I guess everyone has varying degrees of sensitivity and maybe my face is more sensitive but just a word to the wise. I'm really wowed by this place. I've tried it all - procedures, lotions and potions - oh my! This one really made a difference. I'm hooked. read more

I as well purchased a groupon for the IPL photofacials and called feburary to schedule my appointment they told me that they would call me back as their computers were down and couldnt view their calender. They never called me back. I called again a week later and was told they didnt have availibililty til end of June. They were quick to tell me to call groupon for a refund which leads me to believe they dont want to honor the groupn. They were rude over the phone and just not helpful. Im sure Dr. susan is great but her staff and scheduling are just horrible. read more

Giving four stars because they weren't open at 9 and I had an appt at 9 am. We started the procedure at about 20 after as I had to fill out a packet of paperwork first. Then the doctor reviews it all and initials each page, which I thought was an excellent thing to do, especially when a new patient comes in. Procedure itself (groupon chemical peel ) was about 10 mins total from start to finish. I would def come back again. The staff was friendly, answered all questions and walked me through their process. There is free two- hr parking on Santa Monica and Bedford, next to the Rite Aid. Her office is diagnol, across the stree to the right as you leave the parking garage. It's a small glass door next to the "436" on the building. Hope this helps! After about a week - skin is looking pretty good! Peeling wasn't too significant, but peeled in the area that I was most self conscious about. read more
