DO NOT TRUST ROXBURY INSTITUTE! I believe Jamie especially has repeatedly shown BAD-FAITH, UNETHICAL, GREEDY, DECEPTIVE, MANIPULATIVE, MISLEADING and COERCIVE conduct and tactics that are primarily focused on keeping your money and not refunding you for what I consider a botched cosmetic result with even hard bumps under the skin that Dr. Ahdout had to manipulate which was painful. The focus should be on transparency as well as patient's health and well-being - not GREED. They also violate boundaries. Dr. Ahdout gave me her word that Jamie would not contact me further. Yet, Jamie contacted me despite my numerous written and verbal requests to cease contact. I believe I may be able to file a police report for harassment. Additionally, I believe Jamie even went as far as providing DECEPTIVE MISINFORMATION about matters that can affect health in further attempts to not refund me. I believe this is highly unethical and concerning conduct especially for a dermatologist office. I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this matter. I left a message and sent emails the first time and I did not receive a call from Dr. Ahdout. The same thing happened a second time. I posted a review the first time and Jamie called right away so I removed it. When I went in to show Dr. Ahdout the result of her work - I felt gaslit because she was questioning me as to why she would do a job like this. She again asked on the phone yesterday as what I think happened - a question she herself should answer. She then said there are no before and after photos. I reminded her AGAIN that I have before photos on my phone that her own assistant took. Dr. Ahdout then asked if I would agree to a credit. I declined. She then said that they have a "policy" that once a patient asks for a refund they can't return to the office. I informed her that I would not want to work with a business that has punitive policies. I believe both her conduct and Jamie's conduct revolved mainly around keeping my money. When I first brought up the refund, Jamie immediately became aggressive on the phone and used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name aggressively as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and silence me. Jamie even went as far suggesting that the tightness was "normal". She even pointed to her face claiming she felt the same. I knew the tightness was not normal. When I asked Dr. Ahdout, she confirmed that it was not normal. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. This involves health and providing misinformation to patients can have great liability. Jamie also asked if I would want to do a correction. I declined. I noted in my review and also in an email to Dr. Ahdout's as well as during her call yesterday that I do not want to interact with Jamie at all. Dr. Ahdout GAVE ME HER WORD that she will call me back herself. Dr. Ahdout did NOT keep her word. Instead Jamie called and went back and forth attempting to claim that it wasn't 2 items I purchased and it was 1.5. She said Dr. Ahdout said there was "a confusion" and it was 1.5 items. I informed her that's false. Besides Dr. Ahdout's own prior confirmations - the invoice is more than clear. I explained, again, that Dr. Ahdout confirmed with me TWICE, once in front of her own assistant in person and again on the phone yesterday, that it was 2 items. Jamie went back and forth for at least 10 minutes arguing. I kept asking her to ask Dr. Ahdout. She refused 3 times and continued to argue. I kept mentioning what I paid for. She finally checked my invoice although she had ALREADY SEEN my invoice as she is the one who charged me AND even emailed it to me. She FINALLY agreed it was 2 items. I believe these practices are EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE and GREEDY. Then Jamie said their "corporate" is going to send me an email to sign "a form". I told her I'm not signing a release form as I need to see another doctor. Patients should not be forced to sign a release form to receive a refund. Jamie said their corporate "requires" this and that they will contact me. AGAIN, she displayed a pattern of violating boundaries and as soon as I would say their corporate did not have my consent to contact me - she would BLATANTLY REPEAT they will contact me. I informed her that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress and dispute the chargeback - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use ALL legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but to also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed and the emotional distress caused related to this matter and their conduct. I have been dealing with rosacea for a while and decided to see a dermatologist after my insurance changed. As someone who was naturally blessed with good skin, the rosacea really changed my daily routines and my confidence. After researching on Yelp and Google, I made an appointment with Dr. Adhout, who was booked a month out, but luckily, I got an earlier slot due to a cancellation. My visit last week was brief but effective, with the diagnosis taking only about 10 minutes. Dr. Adhout was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. Plus, she is absolutely gorgeous. The office itself is super clean and beautiful, and the staff were all nice and polite. Dr. Adhout prescribed me a face wash, SPF, and a rosacea cream. After only six days of using these products, I've noticed significant improvements in my skin. It's much smoother, the tiny bumps are visibly reduced, and while the redness is still there, it's much calmer. I am very happy to see my good skin coming back to me. Dr. Adhout also prescribed antibiotics for the redness, which I haven't taken yet. I had a great experience with Dr. Adhout and I am SO happy I found her. I had a freckle on my lip that another dermatologist said I would need to have cut off and stiched up, leaving me with permanent scarring. I got a second opinion through Dr. Adhout and she was able to freeze it completely off within 2 sessions and it's been fully gone for months now without any scarring or issues whatsoever. As a non-dermatologist physician, I know my limits. In this case, I wasn't going to remove a lesion from my face and disfigure myself. All of the reviews that you have read are true. Dr. Ahdout is kind, genuine, and cares about her patients. During my appointment, she commented about my severely dry and cracked hands because I wash my hands multiple times each day between patients. She quickly removed the small lesion from my face and it almost looks like nothing was there. Also, her staff notified me of the biopsy results a few days after my appointment. The absolute BEST. Dr. Ahdout is one of the best doctors I think I have ever been to. The staff is incredible as well. I had a very painful rash / allergic reaction on my face -- every inch of my face was swollen, red, and bumpy. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants were incredibly comforting and caring. The first assistant, I believe her name was Ashley, was so sweet and listen to every word I said. I even took notes beforehand to try and make the context of my situation shorter because I'm so use to being rushed through doctor's appointments -- But not here. Then Dr. Ahdout came in and right off the bat she had a wonderfully calming presence. She sat next to me, listened, and took her time trying to figure out what was wrong. She wrote down everything so I had something to refer back to on my journey to recovery. After, Dr. Ahdout left, her assistant that came in with her (which I am so sad I didn't catch her name because she was amazing) literally went through everything with me again to make sure I left with comfort and an action plan. She is the best; there is no compromise when it comes to your health. Unlike some other doctors, Dr. Ahdout genuinely listens to your concerns. As an adult in his late 20's, I had terrible acne for years. It was extremely frustrating because I would eat healthy, exercise daily, and wash my face. Nothing I would do seemed to work. I Had previously gone to three different dermatologists, none of which fixed the problem and one of which charged me $300 per appointment just for him to be absolutely useless and uncaring. I go to Dr. Ahdout, she listens attentively to my problem, prescribes me three medications with easy instructions, and reassures me that if it doesn't work out, then we can pivot the plan. I went to see this dermatologist at the Roxbury institute for tear trough and it was a major disappointment. Nothing dangerous happened, but it was not a job well done. I had to go three times to get it right and I was still left with a weird line under my right eye and unevenness, that I recently had corrected with an expert in tear trough. Her medical assistant at that time Ashley was a dread to be around. They keep you waiting in the room for hours. The staff at the front desk is not friendly. There's nothing about this place that I would recommend. Maybe for very basic skin issues but for anything Filler, don't waste your time. I've found an amazing Doctor for injections that I'd never leave now, who corrected my eye. Also if you want to do tear trough you're better off with an ocular plastic surgeon it's not only going to look better but be safer. read more

I first went to her for Coolsculpting and she was so honest and told me that I probably won't get the results I wanted. She then pulled Doc Amron out of a meeting and got me a free lipo consult. Yep you don't mess with Doc Ahdout!!! I love love love her. Basically gave her 5 weeks to help me get wedding ready and so far we have done 1 round of Ultrashape to tighten my face which she also used to tried to zap my double chin off and 2 rounds of Clear & Brilliant. Omg Clear and Brilliant is AMAZING and honestly I'm not sure why people bother doing facials. One round of this laser and most of my dark spots are gone and face completely cleared! The Doc also suggested I do TCA Cross to help with my huge pores and this is seriously the first time I've managed to not look cakey whenever I do my makeup. I met Dr. Ahdout and Kennedy, the aesthetician, when I first arrived at The Roxbury Institute back in June 2020. I had an absolutely horrible cystic acne breakout on my chin, cheeks, and forehead due to an awful decision in using a hormonal IUD, and came to my appointment in tears, as I had never seen my skin in such terrible condition. I thought I could save my face on my own by following articles and YouTube videos recommending "miracle" clay face masks, but I am so so thankful I found Dr. Ahdout when I hit rock bottom with my skin. I was referred to Doctor Ahdout by my GP who said she was the best in town. Five stars is not a high enough rating for Doctor Ahdout. I had a hard year after being diagnosed with aggressive, early-stage breast cancer and had been told I would need to have surgery, six months of chemotherapy and 33 rounds of radiation. I was so scared and had been told chemotherapy would ruin my skin. Doctor Ahdout helped me through the whole process. Continually and thoroughly checking my skin. Advising me which creams would be best to calm radiation burns. Helping me clear up rashes and acne caused by chemo drugs and detecting abnormal cells in my skin before they had the chance to turn into anything sinister. She is so thorough, nothing gets past her! Dr Ahdout saved my life. I hadn't been to the dermatologist in over a year, for obvious reasons, and came to see her to get a long overdue scan of my body for any moles. I had one,.which she removed, which was quite small and black. I came back 10 days later for another minor procedure. During my second visit, the results came for my mole: atypical moderate to severe. Immediate surgery to remove the area around the mole commenced instead of my other cosmetic procedure. Ten days later I was clear. If Dr Ahdout hadn't found, and removed the mole, and the surrounding areas,.it would've turned into melanoma. Need I say more? read more
