Dr. Ahdout is truly a caring, kind and highly skilled dermatologist. Both her and her team are professional. She is confident in her work - which is a lot more than I can say for the "celebrity dermatologists" who are running their offices as mills and don't actually care to help patients. I did various treatments with Dr. Ahdout including skin needling and her work is impeccable. She is also incredibly honest. I had done PRP at another office nearby at a much higher price and Dr. Ahdout explained how she believes it doesn't do much. She noted letting the blood from skin needling sit on the skin afterwards is sufficient. She could have sold me on PRP since I had inquired about it, but she was transparent. She is a truly trustworthy professional. Dr. Ahdout is high in both mental and emotional intelligence. She also hires people who run her office professionally. She has high standards both with how she treats and takes care of patients and also how her patients are treated by her staff. Doctors hire people who are like them. Most so called healthcare professionals couldn't care less about creating a healing environment as they hire wolves like them to run their offices. I came to the office to make sure a red bump on my face was not serious. I was sold treatment for my rosacea. I underwent treatment at this office for rosacea and facial redness. Prior to treatment, I specifically explained that I could not afford to undergo multiple sessions and asked whether I would see noticeable benefit after a single treatment. I was told that I should expect to see improvement after one session. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While some visible veins were successfully treated through cauterization, I did not experience the level of lasting improvement in my rosacea redness that I expected based on our discussion. I also had concerns about post-procedure care and communication. After my first treatment, I experienced significant redness and pus, and became worried that I might be developing an infection. It took approximately four days before someone from the office meaningfully addressed my concerns, which added a great deal of stress during the healing process. After I later expressed dissatisfaction with my results, the provider did offer a second treatment at no additional charge which I appreciated. She used no numbing cream even though I explained that I have a low tolerance for pain! However, even after completing treatment and allowing time for healing, I still did not feel the overall cosmetic outcome justified the cost for me personally. Another concern was that no true baseline "before" photos were taken prior to treatment. The only comparison image retained appears to have been taken after the first procedure, while my skin was still experiencing treatment-related redness and inflammation. When I requested consideration of a refund or partial refund, I was told that results are not guaranteed. I also found it frustrating that the office preferred discussing concerns by phone rather than communicating in writing and were very defensive and refused to even meet in the middle. They said because I don't use other rosacea treatments that's why their work failed! I understand cosmetic treatments can vary from person to person, and I appreciate that an effort was made to address my concerns. I simply believe future patients should clearly discuss expectations, number of likely treatments needed, follow-up responsiveness, and refund policies before proceeding. I do not recommend at all. As a non-dermatologist physician, I know my limits. In this case, I wasn't going to remove a lesion from my face and disfigure myself. All of the reviews that you have read are true. Dr. Ahdout is kind, genuine, and cares about her patients. During my appointment, she commented about my severely dry and cracked hands because I wash my hands multiple times each day between patients. She quickly removed the small lesion from my face and it almost looks like nothing was there. Also, her staff notified me of the biopsy results a few days after my appointment. I had a great experience with Dr. Adhout and I am SO happy I found her. I had a freckle on my lip that another dermatologist said I would need to have cut off and stiched up, leaving me with permanent scarring. I got a second opinion through Dr. Adhout and she was able to freeze it completely off within 2 sessions and it's been fully gone for months now without any scarring or issues whatsoever. Aside from that, scheduling is very easy (although she typically has a longer wait to get in but it's easy to see why). Her bedside manner is calming, friendly, and she takes the time to listen. I have been dealing with rosacea for a while and decided to see a dermatologist after my insurance changed. As someone who was naturally blessed with good skin, the rosacea really changed my daily routines and my confidence. After researching on Yelp and Google, I made an appointment with Dr. Adhout, who was booked a month out, but luckily, I got an earlier slot due to a cancellation. My visit last week was brief but effective, with the diagnosis taking only about 10 minutes. Dr. Adhout was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. Plus, she is absolutely gorgeous. The office itself is super clean and beautiful, and the staff were all nice and polite. Dr. Adhout prescribed me a face wash, SPF, and a rosacea cream. After only six days of using these products, I've noticed significant improvements in my skin. It's much smoother, the tiny bumps are visibly reduced, and while the redness is still there, it's much calmer. I am very happy to see my good skin coming back to me. Dr. Adhout also prescribed antibiotics for the redness, which I haven't taken yet. The absolute BEST. Dr. Ahdout is one of the best doctors I think I have ever been to. The staff is incredible as well. I had a very painful rash / allergic reaction on my face -- every inch of my face was swollen, red, and bumpy. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants were incredibly comforting and caring. The first assistant, I believe her name was Ashley, was so sweet and listen to every word I said. I even took notes beforehand to try and make the context of my situation shorter because I'm so use to being rushed through doctor's appointments -- But not here. Then Dr. Ahdout came in and right off the bat she had a wonderfully calming presence. She sat next to me, listened, and took her time trying to figure out what was wrong. She wrote down everything so I had something to refer back to on my journey to recovery. After, Dr. Ahdout left, her assistant that came in with her (which I am so sad I didn't catch her name because she was amazing) literally went through everything with me again to make sure I left with comfort and an action plan. I wish I could give 10 stars for overall experience. My insurance unfortunately does not cover here, but I will definitely be back. I will make it work to keep coming here. read more

She is the best; there is no compromise when it comes to your health. Unlike some other doctors, Dr. Ahdout genuinely listens to your concerns. As an adult in his late 20's, I had terrible acne for years. It was extremely frustrating because I would eat healthy, exercise daily, and wash my face. Nothing I would do seemed to work. I Had previously gone to three different dermatologists, none of which fixed the problem and one of which charged me $300 per appointment just for him to be absolutely useless and uncaring. I go to Dr. Ahdout, she listens attentively to my problem, prescribes me three medications with easy instructions, and reassures me that if it doesn't work out, then we can pivot the plan. After a few months, my acne is almost completely gone and I'm ecstatic to not have to deal with this problem for the first time in years. read more

I went to see this dermatologist at the Roxbury institute for tear trough and it was a major disappointment. Nothing dangerous happened, but it was not a job well done. I had to go three times to get it right and I was still left with a weird line under my right eye and unevenness, that I recently had corrected with an expert in tear trough. Her medical assistant at that time Ashley was a dread to be around. They keep you waiting in the room for hours. The staff at the front desk is not friendly. There's nothing about this place that I would recommend. Maybe for very basic skin issues but for anything Filler, don't waste your time. I've found an amazing Doctor for injections that I'd never leave now, who corrected my eye. Also if you want to do tear trough you're better off with an ocular plastic surgeon it's not only going to look better but be safer. read more

Soooo glad I met Doc Ahdout. She's super nice and patient. She also goes out of her way to make sure you get the best treatment possible! I first went to her for Coolsculpting and she was so honest and told me that I probably won't get the results I wanted. She then pulled Doc Amron out of a meeting and got me a free lipo consult. Yep you don't mess with Doc Ahdout!!! I love love love her. Basically gave her 5 weeks to help me get wedding ready and so far we have done 1 round of Ultrashape to tighten my face which she also used to tried to zap my double chin off and 2 rounds of Clear & Brilliant. Omg Clear and Brilliant is AMAZING and honestly I'm not sure why people bother doing facials. One round of this laser and most of my dark spots are gone and face completely cleared! The Doc also suggested I do TCA Cross to help with my huge pores and this is seriously the first time I've managed to not look cakey whenever I do my makeup. I met Dr. Ahdout and Kennedy, the aesthetician, when I first arrived at The Roxbury Institute back in June 2020. I had an absolutely horrible cystic acne breakout on my chin, cheeks, and forehead due to an awful decision in using a hormonal IUD, and came to my appointment in tears, as I had never seen my skin in such terrible condition. I thought I could save my face on my own by following articles and YouTube videos recommending "miracle" clay face masks, but I am so so thankful I found Dr. Ahdout when I hit rock bottom with my skin. Been searching for a good derm who knows what they are doing and not pushing anything in your face for the sake of pushing it. Found her through tons of research. She is amazing! Came in after exhausting all other treatments for my sever cystic acne. She meticulously walked me through all the steps and with extreme care prescribed Isotretinoin (AKA: Accutane). Every month she adjusted the dosage accordingly to how my body was handling it. I m now in my third month of treatment and have experienced drastic results. I was referred to Doctor Ahdout by my GP who said she was the best in town. Five stars is not a high enough rating for Doctor Ahdout. I had a hard year after being diagnosed with aggressive, early-stage breast cancer and had been told I would need to have surgery, six months of chemotherapy and 33 rounds of radiation. I was so scared and had been told chemotherapy would ruin my skin. Doctor Ahdout helped me through the whole process. Continually and thoroughly checking my skin. Advising me which creams would be best to calm radiation burns. Helping me clear up rashes and acne caused by chemo drugs and detecting abnormal cells in my skin before they had the chance to turn into anything sinister. She is so thorough, nothing gets past her! Dr Ahdout saved my life. I hadn't been to the dermatologist in over a year, for obvious reasons, and came to see her to get a long overdue scan of my body for any moles. I had one,.which she removed, which was quite small and black. I came back 10 days later for another minor procedure. During my second visit, the results came for my mole: atypical moderate to severe. Immediate surgery to remove the area around the mole commenced instead of my other cosmetic procedure. Ten days later I was clear. If Dr Ahdout hadn't found, and removed the mole, and the surrounding areas,.it would've turned into melanoma. Need I say more? read more
