    Happy daughter with new earrings
    Chrissy D.

My family loves us some Dr. B. She first treated me for hormonal acne. Within two weeks of doing a regiment prescribed by her my skin cleared up. It's been a year and my skin is still thriving. My 11 year old daughter had a tear in her earlobe due to an earring snag. I took her to Dr. B for repair. Of course my daughter was nervous and had anxiety about going to her appointment. Once she was there Dr. B put her anxiety at ease by making conservation with her by the time she she finished the procedure my daughter was telling her stories about school and her friends. And that my friends is a true gift. Not only is she a gifted dermatologist, her bedside manner is impeccable. I would recommend her to anyone in need of service. Thank you Dr. B!

I was told that cutting would leave a scar . This was the option that would NOT scar... Spoiler I have a GIANT scar
    Kris L.

I originally went here based on excellent reviews and I hope I can save even one person from going through what I went through. Short version- I was told the procedure I elected would not cause scarring I'm left with a giant scar, larger than the original mole. Full story: I had concerns about my skin and decided to have a skin tag on my eye and mole removed. The skin tag on my eye came off without incident but the mole on leg is another issue. I emailed the office with an image of the mole. ( Below) just over a month after the first nitrogen removal. I was scheduled for an appointment a few days later. The doctor confirmed the result was unsatisfactory and gave me the option of another pass of nitrogen or cutting for removal. She told me cutting would leave a scar and nitrogen would not. I chose the scar free option. Since the time before I only had darkening of the mole and then skin peeling I was freaked out when a few days later I had a giant blister. I had been given no after care instructions but it didn't look good so I reached out to see if I should be concerned. I was out of state due to a death in the family but I did receive a call from the doctor after she saw that over a month later it was not healed. I was told to use Aquafor and bandage after shower. After over a week from the call and the wound still unhealed I followed up via email the and attached an image of where I was in the healing process I was so scared that I'd be scarred. The next day - they returned my email " Are you still out of state? If not then the doctor would like to see you in person. Please let us know. " - I immediately followed up to let them know I was still away with family and when I would return. NO RESPONSE. I sent two additional emails. They have yet to schedule me for an appointment . Beyond having a horrible scar that is larger than the original mole, I didn't find anyone to be particularly friendly inside this office aside from the doctor and even though she was pleasant she was always in a rush ( even though there has never been a full waiting room). My insurance covers $650 per visit ( $1300 for two) I also paid out of pocket to have the mole removed and I'm left with a cicatrix . The only other thing I can warn you about is a cream that she sales for over $125 ( it's also pictured) It's supposed to get rid of dark spots. I've been using for over 5 months and there is no change. I'm looking for a new dermatologist and I highly suggest you do to.

Dr.B has been the only dermatologist in the 10 years I was struggling with acne and other skin issues to actually give me clear, glowing skin. Friends and family of mine were so impressed with my skin transformation. The investment is 100% worth it for anyone contemplating the cost. If you want real results and a doctor that cares, go to Dr.B. The staff is professional and the girl who did my facial extractions was amazing, so so nice and thorough every time I came in. Anyone that has struggled with acne knows how difficult of a journey it can be for a young person, I am so happy I found Dr.B when I did!

She is confident in her work - which is a lot more than I can say for the "celebrity dermatologists" who are running their offices as mills and don't actually care to help patients. I did various treatments with Dr. Ahdout including skin needling and her work is impeccable. She is also incredibly honest. I had done PRP at another office nearby at a much higher price and Dr. Ahdout explained how she believes it doesn't do much. She noted letting the blood from skin needling sit on the skin afterwards is sufficient. She could have sold me on PRP since I had inquired about it, but she was transparent. She is a truly trustworthy professional. Dr. Ahdout is high in both mental and emotional intelligence. She also hires people who run her office professionally. She has high standards both with how she treats and takes care of patients and also how her patients are treated by her staff. Doctors hire people who are like them. Most so called healthcare professionals couldn't care less about creating a healing environment as they hire wolves like them to run their offices. Therefore, most doctor's offices are not healing to say the least. Dr. Ahdout truly cares about her patients and creating a healing environment. I highly recommend her.

Prior to treatment, I specifically explained that I could not afford to undergo multiple sessions and asked whether I would see noticeable benefit after a single treatment. I was told that I should expect to see improvement after one session. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While some visible veins were successfully treated through cauterization, I did not experience the level of lasting improvement in my rosacea redness that I expected based on our discussion. I also had concerns about post-procedure care and communication. After my first treatment, I experienced significant redness and pus, and became worried that I might be developing an infection. It took approximately four days before someone from the office meaningfully addressed my concerns, which added a great deal of stress during the healing process. After I later expressed dissatisfaction with my results, the provider did offer a second treatment at no additional charge which I appreciated. She used no numbing cream even though I explained that I have a low tolerance for pain! However, even after completing treatment and allowing time for healing, I still did not feel the overall cosmetic outcome justified the cost for me personally. Another concern was that no true baseline "before" photos were taken prior to treatment. The only comparison image retained appears to have been taken after the first procedure, while my skin was still experiencing treatment-related redness and inflammation. When I requested consideration of a refund or partial refund, I was told that results are not guaranteed. I also found it frustrating that the office preferred discussing concerns by phone rather than communicating in writing and were very defensive and refused to even meet in the middle. They said because I don't use other rosacea treatments that's why their work failed! I understand cosmetic treatments can vary from person to person, and I appreciate that an effort was made to address my concerns. I simply believe future patients should clearly discuss expectations, number of likely treatments needed, follow-up responsiveness, and refund policies before proceeding. I do not recommend at all. I'm happy to send pictures if you message me.

Long ago, I wanted to remove a mole on my face that I'd always run into while shaving. I found Dr. Fincher and, in my appointment, he said the mole did not need to be removed. I had to convince him I wanted it done (and how it would help), and in the subsequent visit, he removed it. It being where one shaves, it didn't hurt but, typically, bled like crazy. Instead of a stitch or a tight adhesive, I got a band-aid, which only became a problem on the way home when I had a mustache of blood on my face. In time all healed and looked great; I thought I was done with it until a week later when I received a call from their office with a quote that is burned into my brain. "Hi Brian. This is Dr. Fincher's office. You have cancer. It's ok." After nearly collapsing, I finally got a hold of Dr. Fincher who explained the mole I wanted removed and he said was "fine" was a basil cell carcinoma, and he needed to operate again. Different experience for the 2nd operation: he used twice as much anesthesia in the area, which swelled up half my face and took nearly a week to return to normal. Thankfully no cancer on the 2nd scan, but what happened cosmetically? A scar 3x the size of the original mole I wanted to remove! His solution? "Just put some lotion on it." This scar has never gone away. Like the mole I wanted removed, I run into that while shaving. Other dermatologists I've used since then over the years act surprised that I received such poor treatment from his office. Maybe you could say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but is that the thinking you should use after visiting a doctor?!

Whom I didn't realize when booking, was not a dermatologist, but a certified physician assistant (so please double check when booking). They were a dismissive and didn't really answer much. They just told me what they believed the issue to be ("maturity spots"), and I had to ask for my treatment options as I am unfamiliar with them. At this point, I was frustrated and in a rush to get out as well (had to get back to work). Note: Admittedly I arrived at 12 and signed in on the clipboard. One other woman in waiting room, another woman came out to check out - then I was asked to pay my $50 co-pay first and given paperwork to fill out, so that didn't get done until around 12:15, as I wasn't given it until 12:10. In summary, not the most efficient, chair-side manner a little lackluster, and didn't leave with the most confidence in the diagnosis.

You can tell she shows up one hundred percent in every aspect of her practice, even down to how her office is designed and maintained. Everything is in its place, clean, calm, and visually perfect. It sets the tone immediately and makes you feel like you are in very capable hands. The booking process was easy and seamless through her website which I really appreciated.
