Knuckle Pad

I decided to go see Dr. Hazany to remove a knuckle pad on my thumb. I have tried to get it removed before but it wouldn't go away. I have a client facing job and the knuckle pad looks like a wart, so it has made me self conscious. To remedy my problem, Dr. Hazany used a very precise laser to remove it. The whole process was done in minutes and I didn't feel a thing. Still don't feel anything. I didn't want to deal with insurance, just wanted to pay for quality service and I got it. Dr. Hazany is a confidence inspiring professional. He is well staffed. Front desk was quick and attentive. He had two more very professional staff members with him during the procedure. Doctor's offices can make me nauseous. Not here though. I felt the care and attention to details. Thank you very much Dr. Hazany and team!

Three months post-removal (Mar 2022)

This review is LONG overdue, after having a mole removed by Dr. Hazany in November 2021... After thorough research into finding the best possible Dr. and Dermatologist for a mole that I had my entire life, right smack in the middle of my chest- I came across Dr. Hazany on Yelp. I saw his insanely good work on skin cancer patients where he left little to no scar, and I was impressed. I'd researched and saw many photos of mole removals and followed my gut and made an appointment with Hazany- my first app was back in April of 2021.... The unexpected happened at this appointment. Hazany was giving me a thorough body exam for cancerous looking moles (as my mother had melanoma in her 20's)- when suddenly he felt the need to look at my husband. Within seconds he noticed a strange looking mole on my husband's torso that he said had to immediately be removed. I was shocked and worried, but we trusted Hazany and of course moved forward. We anxiously awaited results over the long weekend, luckily the mole was completely benign, but it looked extremely suspicious and Hazany made the right move to take it off. Hazany personally called us to tell us the good news, and I appreciate him taking the time to do so. This was a shocking experience but I am glad my husband went with me to my appointment today, as the mole could have just as easily been melanoma. After this experience I took a step back from my mole removal and let our emotions settle, and then made my appointment for my chest mole removal. Hazany suggested peptide shots in a series in order to prevent scaring as I have extremely thin skin on my chest- and I took his advice, I went in for my first peptide shot in Nov, then had the mole removal in December. Hazany is extremely confident, caring, and straightforward with his answers. He's an expert in removals and the removal itself was completely painless... Now to the results: WOW, it's been four months since I had the removal and you'd never even know I had a large mole in the middle of my chest. I have extremely thin skin on my chest and was worried I would have a large scar...my skin has almost completely filled in and there's no "scar" so to speak. I just want to applaud Hazany for his excellent work, care and attention to detail, both to my husbands needs and my own. He has a dry sense of humor which helped calm my anxious self (I'd been procrastinating having my mole removed for years as I was worried about the scarring). I'd100% recommend this Dr. to anyone needing a dermatologist who needs skin checks or mole removals with minimal to no scarring. He's located off Rodeo in Bev Hills and he charges more money than others and was a Trek for us coming from O.C. - but he's 100% worth it. Also, shout out to Ian who handled all my appointments and numerous questions- he was fantastic all around. I've attached photos of - Before - One month of healing - Three months later :) Thanks again Dr. Hazany.

After

Dr. Hazany and Sarah did an amazing job revising my TCA burn scars. I had an unfortunate burn accident which caused disfigurement on my cheeks. I later originally treated for my scars with the use of energy devices by other practioners which unfortunately yielded not nearly as much improvement as I wanted. I was pretty close to giving up hope until I decided to give the Scar Healing Institute a try starting August of last yr. These scars have caused me a ton of agony and in the past I felt like other practioners had zero empathy for me with this accident. However, I felt like the team here at SHI truly cared about me. In addition to them being meticulous in their work, they are also all very fun to talk to btw! I had Phenol Cross, sculptra, and multiple subcisions done ~ including the liberator once ~ across 10 months and the improvement has been game changing. I would say around 80% - my scars have been lifted significantly and blended with the surrounding skin. Some of the scars have seemingly disappeared while the deep ones look much more shallow. I still want to pursue a dermabrasion to go to polish off my skin for further blending, texture, tone, and collagen regeneration (honestly I could skip this step as I am getting compliments for my skin already but I want to get my skin to a degree where it is as good as possible!) This is an invasive procedure but I have faith in Dr Hazany and his team to do a good job I will update the review with pictures to show my dermabrasion once I get it done and allow the redness to settle a bit. Currently started a new nursing job so gotta find time! All in all I'd highly recommend this treatment center and team for any skin issues ~ but especially pertaining to treating scars. Its in their name after all! As a patient, I know how scary it can be to pick drs but the team here is definitely very skilled when it comes to treating to scars. Before and afters here for the left side! Sorry the position is a bit different but under similar lighting (its hard to move my facial position to match exactly) :/ I'll upload once I get the dermabrasion.

first was before cannula, second was before Taylor liberator, third was after Hazany Liberator. The last one made the biggest diff.
Camille K.

Here is an updated photo, I'm still not 100% finished but I am really happy with the progress each time I have a new treatment. Since last visit I had a new treatment with Dr.Hazany's new tool. he calls it the Hazany Liberator and it works better than the Taylor liberator. Will post more updates soon!

Under Eye filler
Lifeby D.

DR Salar Hazany MD of Beverly Hills Top Dermatologist took his time to assess my Melesa issues with recommendations that's would further damage my skin although he would get less out of it. He's very genuine. In addition, I had been having issues with under eye bags that I've had since I was younger due to the lack of fatty tissue under my eye. I requested for fillers although I did not have an appointment for this. He was able to still take care of me same day. I didn't feel rushed. And although I still need one more syringe I am happy with just the results from the first one. Thank you very much !!!!

She is confident in her work - which is a lot more than I can say for the "celebrity dermatologists" who are running their offices as mills and don't actually care to help patients. I did various treatments with Dr. Ahdout including skin needling and her work is impeccable. She is also incredibly honest. I had done PRP at another office nearby at a much higher price and Dr. Ahdout explained how she believes it doesn't do much. She noted letting the blood from skin needling sit on the skin afterwards is sufficient. She could have sold me on PRP since I had inquired about it, but she was transparent. She is a truly trustworthy professional. Dr. Ahdout is high in both mental and emotional intelligence. She also hires people who run her office professionally. She has high standards both with how she treats and takes care of patients and also how her patients are treated by her staff. Doctors hire people who are like them. Most so called healthcare professionals couldn't care less about creating a healing environment as they hire wolves like them to run their offices. Therefore, most doctor's offices are not healing to say the least. Dr. Ahdout truly cares about her patients and creating a healing environment. I highly recommend her.

Prior to treatment, I specifically explained that I could not afford to undergo multiple sessions and asked whether I would see noticeable benefit after a single treatment. I was told that I should expect to see improvement after one session. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While some visible veins were successfully treated through cauterization, I did not experience the level of lasting improvement in my rosacea redness that I expected based on our discussion. I also had concerns about post-procedure care and communication. After my first treatment, I experienced significant redness and pus, and became worried that I might be developing an infection. It took approximately four days before someone from the office meaningfully addressed my concerns, which added a great deal of stress during the healing process. After I later expressed dissatisfaction with my results, the provider did offer a second treatment at no additional charge which I appreciated. She used no numbing cream even though I explained that I have a low tolerance for pain! However, even after completing treatment and allowing time for healing, I still did not feel the overall cosmetic outcome justified the cost for me personally. Another concern was that no true baseline "before" photos were taken prior to treatment. The only comparison image retained appears to have been taken after the first procedure, while my skin was still experiencing treatment-related redness and inflammation. When I requested consideration of a refund or partial refund, I was told that results are not guaranteed. I also found it frustrating that the office preferred discussing concerns by phone rather than communicating in writing and were very defensive and refused to even meet in the middle. They said because I don't use other rosacea treatments that's why their work failed! I understand cosmetic treatments can vary from person to person, and I appreciate that an effort was made to address my concerns. I simply believe future patients should clearly discuss expectations, number of likely treatments needed, follow-up responsiveness, and refund policies before proceeding. I do not recommend at all. I'm happy to send pictures if you message me.

Long ago, I wanted to remove a mole on my face that I'd always run into while shaving. I found Dr. Fincher and, in my appointment, he said the mole did not need to be removed. I had to convince him I wanted it done (and how it would help), and in the subsequent visit, he removed it. It being where one shaves, it didn't hurt but, typically, bled like crazy. Instead of a stitch or a tight adhesive, I got a band-aid, which only became a problem on the way home when I had a mustache of blood on my face. In time all healed and looked great; I thought I was done with it until a week later when I received a call from their office with a quote that is burned into my brain. "Hi Brian. This is Dr. Fincher's office. You have cancer. It's ok." After nearly collapsing, I finally got a hold of Dr. Fincher who explained the mole I wanted removed and he said was "fine" was a basil cell carcinoma, and he needed to operate again. Different experience for the 2nd operation: he used twice as much anesthesia in the area, which swelled up half my face and took nearly a week to return to normal. Thankfully no cancer on the 2nd scan, but what happened cosmetically? A scar 3x the size of the original mole I wanted to remove! His solution? "Just put some lotion on it." This scar has never gone away. Like the mole I wanted removed, I run into that while shaving. Other dermatologists I've used since then over the years act surprised that I received such poor treatment from his office. Maybe you could say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but is that the thinking you should use after visiting a doctor?!

Whom I didn't realize when booking, was not a dermatologist, but a certified physician assistant (so please double check when booking). They were a dismissive and didn't really answer much. They just told me what they believed the issue to be ("maturity spots"), and I had to ask for my treatment options as I am unfamiliar with them. At this point, I was frustrated and in a rush to get out as well (had to get back to work). Note: Admittedly I arrived at 12 and signed in on the clipboard. One other woman in waiting room, another woman came out to check out - then I was asked to pay my $50 co-pay first and given paperwork to fill out, so that didn't get done until around 12:15, as I wasn't given it until 12:10. In summary, not the most efficient, chair-side manner a little lackluster, and didn't leave with the most confidence in the diagnosis.

It was clear she is deeply knowledgeable and genuinely invested in delivering the best possible outcome. The results speak for themselves and I could not be happier with how my skin looks and feels. Her office alone is worth talking about. It is sleek, aesthetic, and absolutely stunning. Everything feels pristine and intentional, almost museum level beautiful. I remember walking in and thinking the space was so immaculate that I might accidentally ruin it just by existing in it. You can tell she shows up one hundred percent in every aspect of her practice, even down to how her office is designed and maintained. Everything is in its place, clean, calm, and visually perfect. It sets the tone immediately and makes you feel like you are in very capable hands. The booking process was easy and seamless through her website which I really appreciated. No back and forth, no confusion, just efficient and professional. Dr. Zoe herself is the perfect balance of professional and warm. She is pleasant, approachable, and makes you feel comfortable right away. And I have to say she is absolutely stunning, clearly doing something right because whatever her routine is, I want in. On top of all of that, she also accepts insurance for certain procedures, which is not something you see often, so it is definitely worth asking her about that directly. Overall this was an exceptional experience and the quality of care truly stands out. If you are considering PRP or any aesthetic treatment and want someone who is meticulous, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to excellence, Dr. Zoe is the one. I was frustrated because no amount of skincare seemed to make a real dent, and I was worried the discoloration would linger for a long time. Dr. Zoe took the time to assess my skin properly, explained exactly what was happening, and recommended a laser treatment plan that made sense for my skin tone and condition. The results have been astonishing. My hyperpigmentation has improved dramatically, and my skin looks clearer, brighter, and more even overall. It was not just a temporary glow either.
