Love this place. Just popped my biopsy cherry and then had my first carcinoma removal surgery here. I was nervous, probably more than necessary given the nature of the small, out-patient, 90 minute soup-to-nuts procedure, but Dr. Behroozan and his entire stuff were patient, lovely and comforting. I literally am misting up thinking about how kind and reassuring there were. Dr. B is also pretty entertaining - almost made the whole thing fun. Well, it's not him, but if Prince were around and had preemptive skin removal surgery, this would be the dude he'd use. Had a pre-cancerous mole, they did surgery for around 15 minutes, I didn't feel a thing, joked around a bit, bought surprisingly affordable face and body sun screen, and I was on my merry way. I had a horrible experience with this office. While on my way to my appointment, I called them to let them know I'd be 10 minutes late. The receptionist said, "no problem, we have a 10 minute grace period." Then, 2 minutes later, they called me back and said actually, we won't be able to see you today. At this point I'd already been in traffic for an hour. I explained to them that the confirmation email I received didn't have the correct address, and I had to arrange child care to make it to the appointment. None of that mattered. They said, "the person after you has a long procedure, so we're going to go ahead and get him started." So I said, "well how about I just go after him? Because if he's starting early, then he'll finish early, and we can essentially trade places." They wouldn't allow it. No compassion, no flexibility. I was on the phone with them trying to get them to change their minds all the way until I arrived at the office. I was right outside, and they still wouldn't see me. So, after sitting in traffic for about 75 minutes and being right outside their office, I had to turn right back around and sit in traffic for another 90 minutes. If you have other options within your network, don't mess with this office. read more

I can't speak highly enough on this practice. From the moment I walked in the front door, the staff was friendly, professional and made me feel like I was their first priority. Things ran smoothly and follow up instructions were clear, written out, discussed and I was supplies to take home to get started with home care. Dr. Behroozan is a delight. Great bedside manner. Very confident and knowledgeable. Felt I was in good hands. The procedures were discussed ahead of time, he walked me through everything he was going to do today and left some areas for a next visit. I need a lot of work and appreciate that he did not try to get it all accomplished at the same time. His technique were surprisingly painless. We differed in some areas, he listened to my opinion, shared his knowledge and results he had received, offered that I could take a copy of the results home to read over. He also assured me that he would follow up with my subsequent visits and if the course of action needed to be changed, he talked over the next steps, if they were needed......Which Dr in this time, does that???? I booked in to see Dr Behroozan when I got there I was told he wasn't in and I had to see the nurse practitioner. She didnt even look at my skin - I had to ASK her to have a look at it. The staff were rude with a lot of attitude. I questioned one of the nurses about my medication and insurance, she snatched a business card out of my hand and said in a very condescending and sarcastic tone "it's fine! Have it your way" and walked off. I didn't not feel welcome or comfortable AT ALL trying to get my skin issues resolved. If you want caring staff and a safe place to tell a doctor what is bothering you - DONT come to this place. Horrible. read more

i have been seeing Dr Behroozan for several years and he is a wonderful doctor; he listens and commits to providing and finding the best options for you. He has successfully treated my Rosecea and it has remained under control due to his treatment. It is important to realize Rosecea can not be cured but under Dr Behroozan it is under control & flair-ups are very infrequent. The products offered are great and reasonably priced. i also had a Mohs procedure to remove a skin cancer and i was very satisfied with my treatment and care. He is also first rate on providing options addressing all other derm/cosmetic options as well. The Santa Monica & Beverly Hills offices are conveniently located. This review is going to have 2 parts. The first part is for the practice itself, and the second part is for the Accutane medication they prescribed me. 1.) The Practice The place is beautiful, clean, and all the staff are very professional and helpful. I visited the office to clear my active acne and saw Dr. Ellen Lee and Dr. Behroozan. I was immediately prescribed Accutane and saw them once a month for about six months. Appointments were brief and all they really needed to see were my blood test results to make sure I wasn't having any adverse effects. The one somewhat negative thing I have to say about my entire experience with this place is that the monthly Accutane visits are pretty costly and they only take about 5-10 minutes. However, these are required by iPLEDGE and without them, I have zero safety monitoring (which is more important than you might think). 2.) Accutane Itself The whole treatment 100% cleared my active acne in about 6 months. In full transparency, it was not bad at all. Other than the dry lips and skin, the only annoying thing was the sun sensitivity. My best piece of advice is not to take Accutane during the summer, or during a time when you know you will be in the sun for longer periods of time. You will burn like hell. Even with adequate sunblock, it takes 15 minutes for the sun to turn your face red. And for me, that sun sensitivity has still somewhat lingered after a month or so but it's fading slowly. Takeaway: Go to this practice... listen to Dr. Behroozan... and get to where you need to be. He might come off as a little pushy. But look... he is right ten times out of ten. I was scared to go on Accutane but now I consider it one of the best decisions I have ever made. I can't wait to go back in about five months for my acne scar treatments. Im so grateful that I found this drs office! Went in for a skin check and physician assistant Jackie found a suspicious mole on my back and removed it to be sent out for biopsy. Results came back as pre cancerous so they scheduled me with Dr Behroozan for surgery. I get really nervous when it comes to medical procedures but he took the time to explain all the details and I felt very comfortable moving forward with it. The surgery was quick and painless and the second biopsy came back clear. I'm so thankful for Dr Behroozan, PA Jackie and all of his staff!! Friendly staff, very professional and knowledgeable and polite. "The Doctor" is available for procedures only at the moment. He removed a lipoma I had on my forearm. I have to admit I was nervous as ever b/c I knew things were involving a scalpel. He made me promise not to look (like the watching you watching me effect) so that he could do the job with a clear mind. I of course obliged. It was in my best interest to do so. Things turned out wonderful he had the massive lipoma out in seconds and stitched up and out the door in minutes. No pain and I'm due for stitches removal next week. Dr. Behroozan is a gem of a doctor and a gem of a person!!! I feel so lucky to have been referred to him over 15 years ago. During one of our first visits he found a pre-cancerous mole that needed to be removed. As a person who's prone to keloid scars, I knew I was in the best of hands with Dr. Behroozan. He has trained under experts in the field and is confident in his ability to restore the skin to health with minimal scarring. The scar healed beautifully with no keloid! Recently, we did a small surgery on my ear after my earring hole had ripped quite badly. Again, there was a chance of a keloid forming. Dr. Behroozan is the only one I would have trusted to do the surgery. The results are phenomenal! The ear looks amazing, with a very minimal scar that will fade over time. I'm so thrilled! After being diagnosed with my first "official" skin cancer (a squamous cell carcinoma), I was referred to Dr. Behroozan to have it surgically removed. Thankfully it was a fairly routine procedure, done in his office, but I can't say enough about how great he was. I was a little nervous going into this because, as I said, it was my first experience, but he made me feel completely at-ease and worry-free. He promised he would do a great job and he did. My scar is minimal and the procedure went without any complications. Dr. Behroozan is the best! He trained at UCLA medical school and started college there at age 16. He is extremely intelligent and gifted in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Behroozan graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BS in neuroscience and was awarded college honors at graduation for exemplary academic accomplishments. I felt very safe and comfortable seeing him with all the COVID-19 precautions taken at his office. Everyone had N-95 masks, my temperature was taken upon arrival, extra sanitation in rooms between patients, and social distancing measures. He preformed surgery on me to remove body piercings and it didn't hurt at all! I also see him for my Botox Treatments. Preventative Botox in your 20s is a great way to ensure your expression lines don't get deeper. I never bruise, results last 4-5 months because he doesn't dilute it like many other people in the area. For me it's important to have a Board Certified MD Dermatologist Surgeon inject me. He knows the anatomy of the face and what is under the skin as a surgeon. This ensures the best natural looking outcome without complications or droopy eyes.
