I called and made an appointment to come in and get a treatment done. Showed up on time and they told me they actually won't be able to do the treatment on me as it was too late in the day, even though I had an appointment to do the treatment for that time, but the front desk ladies told me they'll at least be able to give me a consultation about the treatment so i'll be ready to go fir when I come back. I waited half an hour to be seem for the consultation and then once I was moved yo a room a gentleman came in and told me that the two people that do the treatment and consultation for it are not even in office today. So he apologized for the multilayer of inadequacy and mistake within their office (well he didn't put it that way) and sent me home without any offer of free or at the very least discounted service for wasting so much of my time. Parking is challenging but don't let that deter you. Park on Federal they have metered parking just give yourself extra time to walk over!! They have a parking lot but they don't validate just like most places these days ... you know it's LA!!! so it's better to use Federal. If you want treatment options, this is not the place for you. Was told, very matter-of-factly, that the only way to address a dark spot on my face was at least 3x laser sessions on an area the size of a dime at $1,500 each visit. When I asked about other ideas, was told that would be the only effective one. Left irritated and dissatisfied. Went to another practice and was given a $20 cream and 5 months later the spot is gone. I've visited their downtown location numerous times now to see PA Tiffany and I'm so excited that they added a second location which is much closer to me! I stopped by today to get my Botox done and Tiffany always does a great job. She's very knowledgeable and friendly. She's definitely my go-to for any dermatologist needs in the future. I've also gotten other treatments from Tiffany: Laser Peel - I love how there's no downtime and results are pretty much immediate. This is definitely my go-to laser treatment for a healthy glowy skin. Skin Tag removals - I've had numerous tiny skin tags on my neck and Tiffany did a great job with removing all of it painlessly and effortlessly. She even removed one on my eyelid which I was pretty nervous about since it's literally on my eye but Tiffany did a fantastic job and there is literally no scarring. In fact, I also plan to stop by soon for another round of skin tag removals on the side of my face. PRP Under Eye Treatment - I've done this once so far with Tiffany and I'm planning to head back again for my second round to see even better results. I like how there are two ways to inject the PRP to reduce bruising and that this treatment provides a boost in healing and a healthy skin glow. Dr. Andrew Park is an absolute pro. During our consultation he recommended a course of action on how to remove a cyst on my under eye while also sharing potential risks and options which I really appreciated. He really listened to me and look the time to understand the situation. During the actual procedure, his expert injecting skills made the lidocaine injections totally painless. I had no bruising and the spot healed up super quickly. I couldn't be happier with the care I received from Dr. Park. He and the entire clinic staff are absolutely wonderful. Updating my review after receiving the bill. I was suggested to get a facial at the office by the dermatologist after I came in struggling with acne. He mentioned that the express facial was fully covered by insurance, just have to pay copay ($20). I was skeptical because that seems too good to be true, so I asked the receptionist to confirm, and she did. They even went so far to say my insurance would cover two facials per month fully (just have to pay copay). Because of this I scheduled three express facials over the next few weeks. My acne was bad so I thought this was a great solution. My previous review was about the quality of a facial, and while my opinion hasn't changed there, I was in shock when I started getting texts about an outstanding bill. Long story short, insurance does not cover this service. I paid $20 copay at the office and now $73 for each facial on the outstanding bill. In total, $279 for 3 twenty minute express facials. I nearly cried on the phone with their billing department because I cannot afford this and would not have booked these appointments had I known this was the price. It's very hard to justify $90 for a 20 minute facial no matter how good. She was unwilling to help or do anything at all. She said it was a mistake that happens often, apparently the receptionist misinform their clients routinely. But she wouldn't/couldn't help me. I can't afford this bill and feel so upset knowing I will have to make it work somehow. I called immediately to cancel all my upcoming appointments, I will not come back. read more

Flawless. I don't really know how to describe the experience more accurately because I never thought I'd love a doctor's office. This place is like someone turned a doctor's office into a functioning business that cares about its customers. You want to schedule an appointment? You can book online on their website or you can talk to a nice live human without waiting on hold. Oh, by the way, you can get an appointment within the week. You want to pay a medical bill? You don't have to wait for a random paper letter, you'll get an email and you can pay online. You need to ask a question? You can call the front desk and talk to a nice, live human that won't make you feel like you're the devil intruding on their day, OR you can chat with them online. I feel almost ridiculous describing some of the things I love because they're very base-level items I take for granted in nearly all other service providers in my life. Metropolis has done the impossible, it has successfully implemented convenient technology and basic customer service into the medical field (something I never thought I would see happen). On top of that, the doctors and the PAs that are on staff have some of the best bedside manner I've ever seen. Metropolis needs to expand and take over the DMV. read more

I was waiting until 11a until I kindly checked in and then was told it was going to be another 10 minutes because the dr was behind. I can totally understand a dr being behind, especially on a Saturday, but maybe they should have told me this in the beginning? I have done extensive research to find a dermatologist that I would feel comfortable with. My friends gave me the names of their dermatologists, who gave them laser facials, Botox, etc. I was very concerned about some irregular spots on my face that I had let go on too long because of fear. Both of my parents had skin cancers removed, which put me in a high risk bracket. I wanted a dermatologist who was not about vanity, but who would treat whatever needed to be treated, with the background and experience to do so. Dr. Wang is my guy. I was petrified walking in, the entire office put me at ease as did Dr. Wang. I felt very confident in his assessment that I had nothing to fear, his diagnosis, and the plan made a plan for me moving forward. Fear can be a killer, and I am lucky. I am no longer afraid and will maintain proper and regular checkups with Dr. Wang moving forward. Also, I'll be returning to have laser facials, etc once we have my issues under control, and I'm pretty sure they'll take years off my face :) read more

I came to their other office about a year ago for the Hollywood Laser Peel treatment and Tru Scuplt Flex treatment done by PA Tiffany Wang. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great experience overall and don't see myself looking elsewhere for a dermatology office in the future! Hollywood Laser Peel - This one was pretty quick, about 15 minutes and relatively painless. The last step where they zap the lotion out of your skin felt like little pricks on your face. I could see a noticeable glow immediately after and am excited to continue to see the results on acne scars over the next few days! Tru Sculpt Flex - I had this done on my abs and thighs. You're on the machine for 45 minutes, but you can have the level of intensity changed from time to time if needed. The lighter intensity felt similar to a stim machine. The higher intensity felt like a very rapid massage on the targeted area that caused my muscles to noticeably flex. I have noticed that both my legs and abs are more toned as a result! I'm excited that they now have a 2nd location way closer to my family's place! read more

Jinli Wu here is truly an expert at what she does. I've gone to many dermatologists and plastic surgeon's offices in Beverly Hills for Botox and other treatments and they always either make me look weird or I leave disappointed. Jinli is the ONLY one that's been able to give me the exact natural look I want when it comes to injections. She also didn't try to upsell me on additional units and instead told me to go lower than what I had done before, which I really appreciate! I have some surgical scars that's been bothering me for years that I didn't think would ever get better until Jinli suggested that I should try laser with her. I was hesitant initially because I had done lasers previously with another doctor that didn't do much to improve them. I recently went to Metropolis for filler on my chin and jawline . It's a beautiful office right off the 405 freeway. I was able to find street parking next to the building but there is also a structure, im not sure if they validate or not. The lobby was very clean and had nice decor. The two girls in the front were very friendly , it was a smooth process to check in. The room I was placed in had a beautiful view of the city. I recently had a baby and needed a mommy makeover. Jinli was my injector and recommended adding filler to my jawline along with chin. She was very gentle and made sure to check in with me to make sure I was feeling okay. By adding the filler to those areas I feel like my face looks thinner and more defined. I had very very minimal pain afterwards. I love the end result ! read more

I cannot say enough about the quality of care that I've received from Dr. Jeff at the Brentwood office. I came to Metropolis Dermatology because I was having a reaction of adult acne from trying to get off birth control plus extra hormones from being an egg donor. I was a complete mess. Even my worse days in my youth I never experienced such aggressive and painful acne. Dr. Jeff was able to come up with a plan of action that worked all while being considerate of my choice to donate eggs (there are medications that I just cannot take while in that process). He made me feel seen every single visit. He took his time with cortisone injections while also taking input from me about problem cysts/areas. No mater where I was at emotionally he held space. He has hands down given me the best medical care I've ever experienced. He was able to help me avoid scaring and now that things are clearing up he has a plan for how to restore the texture of my skin. Anyone going through the hardship of acne go see Dr. Jeff asap. He gave me my confidence back. Acne isn't something you have to live with or keep you from going out in life. It sucks big time but there's a way out! I was originally referred to Metropolis Dermatology through a friend back in 2017 or so, and have been going ever since! For the past few years, I've been going to Tiffany Wang for under eye PRP and Botox and Andrew Park for Botox. My face looks younger and my genetic under eye darkness is less noticeable, and just as important, is very natural looking. I'd definitely recommend Tiffany and Andrew and Metropolis Dermatology as a whole! Only note is that street parking in the neighborhood can be tough and the building's garage is pricey, but pro tip: spend $10 in the cafe on the building's ground floor and you'll get an hour of parking validated. read more

Where do I even begin! I came to see Jeff Bonnaud for my skincare needs of both botox and filler. He was highly recommended and I had a fantastic experience. The office is pristine with gorgeous views. The check-in process was seamless and organized. The exam room was both spacious and clean. I have now seen Jeff twice for lip filler, cheek filler, under eye filler and botox. His touch is gentle and he was super communicative to ensure I was comfortable and appropriately numb before we began.
