The food is good , not even expensive, the staff is always nice and welcoming , I'm not sure why they have so many low reviews. 10/10

Came here because of Yelp, and this place did not disappoint!…read more If you're looking for some good old-fashioned wings, this is the spot. We loved every flavor we tried, and they even had plain wings for our young son, which was a huge plus. What really made the experience stand out was our server. I didn't catch his name, but he was working around 6:30 PM tonight. He was hustling the entire time, incredibly polite, and provided excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

Born out of his love for tiny finger foods to bring to get-togethers, Christian has been perfecting his recipes until he opened JD's Wingz in 2021, and you can seriously taste the love he pours into everything here, from the food to the customer service. The Big B's hot honey flavor came highly recommended, and I can totally see why. Their Bombz are their version of "boneless wings". It's kind of like a chicken meatball? but in my opinion, much better than dinky "chicken nuggets" XD You cannot miss out on their world famous garlic pull apart bread--this is sooo soft and garlicky. Bruv, I'm even blown away by the coleslaw they make in-house. Their deals, enthusiasm, and their special menu item "My GF isn't hungry" definitely make this great little wings spot my happy place. Thanks for reading! ^-^

I came here on a whim, looking for a single entree meal for myself to eat for dinner. This meant the lunch specials were over, but he still kindly allowed me to order a lunch box since I wasn't looking to buy a big order of chicken. He also let me taste test the chicken with a spicy sauce he recommended, which I thought was super generous of him since it was pretty much a few extra pieces of chicken for free. Although the chicken wasn't as crispy as I wanted to be, it could have been the sauce and the closed to-go container that made it like that. Despite the lack of crunch, the flavor was very good and the rice that came with it had some type of chili/onion topping which gave it so much more zing. The chicken was also served on a bed of shredded green onion which was a nice touch since I love onions. All in all, the food was good and Jae's service and welcoming vibes were outstanding, so I definitely plan on coming back to support him and his business.

The rice is yummy and sticky, everything just blew my tastebuds away. I promise it's so worth it. I think they just opened up recently and I promise it's worth it. The family who runs it is so sweet, service is great. The inside is also pretty spacious, decent amount of seating, I highly recommend!

Came into bb.q chicken Anaheim with a couple friends after almost visiting house of Shabu shabu II,…read moreafter this caught our eye in the same parking lot. When we came in, the restaurant was pretty empty but very clean and well air conditioned which is a must right now. We were sat quickly and were able to easily order on the iPad. We ordered the cheese balls, rose tteokbokki, and boneless soy garlic chicken (large). They pretty quickly brought a complimentary side salad to the table which was a crunchy and refreshing shredded cabbage with a thousand island like sauce similar to what you'd be served with Korean katsu. Our cheese balls came out next. We were expecting something a bit more savory, but to our surprise, they were quite sweet. It tasted almost like a donut, if you've had the Korean rice donuts filled with red bean or sweet cream cheese, these tasted like the latter, but with some sort of melting cheese like mozzarella also mixed in. While it wasn't what we were necessarily looking for, they were very tasty, but I don't think we'd get it with chicken again. I really like the tteokbokki here. They're heavy on the veggies like cabbage, which I actually enjoy about it. It holds the sauce in a way the rice cakes just don't. Their sauce is also lightly sweet and not too rich or spicy. It makes the dish go down a lot easier than other versions of it. The chicken came out last, and was impressive as expected. You may expect boneless chicken to be dry or flavorless, but bb.q chicken somehow manages to avoid all that while still achieving a satisfying crunch all while covered in sauce. Even their sauced chicken is somehow still crispy, which I think is owed mostly to their breading and frying methods, as well as the conservative amount of sauce they put on it (which we appreciate). I would definitely return to this location for Korean fried chicken. The Irvine one wall has also been reliable in my experience. The only location which has been consistently bad is the Fullerton location, whose ambiance, service, and food have been lackluster on the multiple occasions I've been there, which is surprising for a chain like this. Two thumbs up for Anaheim tho.

You can only choose pickled radish or cabbage salad, not both. Just FYI. My son's go to order - garlic soy chicken bone in large. I eat 4 pieces and he inhales the rest with two cups of rice at home.

Soy garlic was my favorite, it's an absolute must order, packed with flavor. They also have an AYCE pricing available as an option. The soju paired so well with the chicken, zero sugar and very refreshing. Going to go searching for the soju in store now because I've never had this brand before & really loved it. There is a small lot out front for parking, and I suspect you can park on the street when the lot fills up. We happened to come by during the Korea vs. Mexico game, and understandably, the place gets packed, with a line forming outside. We somehow beat the rush by about 30 minutes and were seated at a table as soon as we entered. We also realized then that they didn't have the all-you-can-eat option, so we ended up ordering the chicken wings, their version of loaded fries, and steamed rice. We also placed the order via the QR code. We had our drinks delivered to our table shortly afterward. The food, however, was taking a long time to get to our table. It may have been a combination of the FIFA World Cup and a staff shortage, but when we were there, there was only 1 kitchen staff member and 1 wait staff member. The lady on the wait staff did everything from serving food to accepting new customers and topping off water for all the tables. A wall separates the restaurant; there is a front room and an inside room, and both rooms had televisions broadcasting the game. The food itself was decent for the price that they charge. The chicken wings came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. They have some options for different wing flavors. The fries were also delicious and well-fried. I hope the restaurant invests in more wait staff because there were times we needed something from the wait staff. Seeing how busy she was, or sometimes she's just in the front room, we haven't seen her in a while to get whatever we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere is very unique; it's definitely a nice place to get some Korean street food when you're in the area. The only things to note are that parking is limited, food will take a while to cook as it is made fresh, and there will be some waiting to be done if you need wait staff. Last thing to note: I love that they had some Korean Fusion dishes, and I wish I had a bigger stomach to try these as well during our visit, perhaps another time!
