I placed an online order at Wingaholic in Anaheim on 06/11/25 at 7:30 PM. In the instructions, I specifically asked for no ranch on my fries. When I arrived after a 20-minute drive, I double-checked with the girl at the front if there was ranch on the fries. She looked annoyed, but told me no, so I took the order and left. When I got home, surprise ,the fries were covered in ranch. I called the store immediately because I wasn't about to drive another 20 minutes back. When the same girl answered the phone, she was hostile, unhelpful, and completely dismissive. She told me it wasn't her job to check the order, that it was the cooks' responsibility. But then why did she say no when I asked at pickup? She could've just told me to check it myself. I asked to speak to the manager ,and she said she was the manager. Honestly, if that's true, it's even more disappointing. A manager should take accountability, not lie to customers, pass the blame, and respond with attitude. I asked for her name so I could include it in my complaint, and she flat out refused, telling me I'd have to come in person if I wanted it ,even after I told her I lived far away.This whole situation was handled so poorly. We got the large Buffalo fries and split it, the chicken was really tough and over cooked and there was way too much Buffalo sauce over powering everything and just drenching the fries. Their house ranch was good though, so I dipped some of the fries in that to kind of cut the flavor. The seating was kind of tricky too because there just wasn't too many spots to sit or any outside seating. So either take your order to go, or eat in your car. If you're lucky there might be a spot open. The cashier who took our order wasn't too friendly but she did her job and took our order, it isn't always service with a smile and I get that. They have a good variety of sauces but my go to is the honey bbq. It's a very simple dish but when you get the craving this restaurant always delivers. Employees are usually friendly and they have tables and TVs set up for if you want to dine in.
