Surf Thru Express is easily one of my favorite car washes! I regularly use their locations down in South Orange County, so I was incredibly glad to see they have locations here in Visalia. My experience at this spot was fantastic. The wash itself was great and left my car looking perfect with absolutely no issues. What really stands out about Surf Thru is their consistency...the bathroom here was extremely clean, which matches the high standards I am used to seeing in South Orange County. I am so happy to see that they strictly enforce their cleanliness policy across different regions. Even though the facility was pretty busy when I went, everything moved smoothly. No complaints from me at all. Go check it out! :) read more

This place is crap, they messed up our Honda side mirror (cracked the back). We didn't do anything just took care of it. A while later...I got a membership one day for my Lexus, employee slapped the sticker on inside my windshield no hesitation or asked if that was ok (thinking they do this often sticker must be safe). I realized after a year I wasn't utilizing the membership so cancelled it and asked if they had anything to safely remove the sticker and they handed me a plastic scraper, I used it and it came off but with my manufacturer tint!! So pissed off, don't recommend them. read more

You're better off washing your own car , what's the point of paying extra fees for a deeper clean when it doesn't do what it's supposed to do? They were really busy this day since cops were arresting someone and weren't able to help me. Also my mirror cover came off inside and they said they'd call me but they never did. If I would've known they wouldn't call me back , I would've waited and not give them my info I don't recommend coming here. read more

Unfortunately, not a good company to work with if your accounting requires monthly receipts. For the past 3-4 months, I've repeatedly gone back to Surf Thru to confirm that my email address is correct, yet I continue to have the same issue and never receive the receipts I need. This has caused unnecessary delays and frustration, especially when timely documentation is essential for accounting and record-keeping. The lack of follow-through and resolution makes it difficult to recommend this company. read more

The brushes need to be readjusted. Only the top portion of my windshield gets touched, leaving big guts on the bottom untouched. Right side window does not get touched. I'm reviewing the Mooney location only. I've brought it up to the attendants attention, but so far no adjustments have been made. Quite disappointing. I got six memberships and if the issue is not addressed promptly I will pull all of them. read more

Brought my ram to get cleaned, the workers were polite, but the actual carwash was lackluster at BEST. About 65% of my vehicle actually looks clean, the back of my vehicle looks like it wasn't even touched. I usually dont leave reviews, but if i'm going to pay $30 to get my vehicle washed, i would at least expect it to be clean, not asking for perfection, but clean. read more

Absolutely terrible wash for the price. 22 dollars for the "Epic" wash, and car was still filthy after the wash, and no body there doing spot drying at the end of the wash - contrary to what the sign says. Never going back. read more

Went to get my car washed today #2 ultimate wash $20. Wasn't offered a receipt and when I asked for one the attendant couldn't figure out the system to get me one. Ok I'm there for the wash anyways . I pull thru: 2 guys working, neither one of them grab a brush to pre- wash my car, ok, it goes thru the cycle and my car is still dirty. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced to drive thru a 2nd time , Is the pre-wash not done@ this location? As I've had my car scrubbed before and paid less. I guess I'm done at this location, maybe even company there are plenty other options. Don't bother with this location workers today were lazy . read more

Refused to wash my truck due to it being "too dirty". Employees told me to go home and wash it off and bring it back and then I could go thru the car wash. I asked to see the policy that states that if a vehicle is too dirty it will be turned away and they said it's not written anywhere but it is a policy. What a joke I've had a subscription with Surf Thru for years but I will be canceling and going to Champs from now on. Don't waste your time or money here read more

Was turned away at 5:18 on 2/10. Website shows they are open till 8:00pm 7 days a week. I have held the highest monthly membership here since they've opened and the service and quality of the wash continues to go down hill. They use to have two people pre wash and now one sprays a little soap and that's it. No scrub brush. Go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle read more

I asked to have 5 car washes loaded onto a gift card and next thing I know they charged me for a membership at 36 dollars a month until I cancel the membership. I asked to have it refunded and cancelled because that is NOT what I wanted. They said they could not do that. Really? You can't cancel a transaction like every other business in the USA? Poor customer service. Agent kept telling me she told me it was a membership. NOT!! No apology. No "making it right". I won't return to this location. They finally found someone to cancel the transaction but I don't know if the recurring charge will happen or not. I'll just have to check every month? Trying to cancel on-line did not work because they want information I don't have- like a windshield label number. I was there for at least 20 minutes and did not even get a car wash. So frustrating! read more

Decent car wash in itself, but if there's a hard worker it's Oliver! He's the only one I consistently see doing his job.

The quality of Surf Thru has gone waaaay down!!!!! Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but let's face it, WORST CAR WASH EVER!!!!!!! And if you buy the cheaper wash, that's where they get you. Brushes don't even touch the car and it stays filthy. You have to buy the more expensive one for the brushes to touch your car, and then it still doesn't do a good job. DO NOT USE SURF THRU CAR WASH!!!!!!! IT IS A DISAPPOINTMENT AND LET DOWN, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. P.S...And yes, I went through multiple times. You can only go through so many times until you tell yourself, this place sucks no matter what they do to try to rectify the problem. read more

I was just at the car wash on Cameron Ave in Visalia Ca. I was there on Friday to get my car washed. When my car was in the process going thru, the car in front of me got stuck on the track. It shut down the wash. So here it sit stuck inside the car wash with soap on my car. Sat there about 10 minutes and they had me put my car in reverse and told me they are giving me a receipt to come back another time at no charge. So I went today to use it, they said it expired yesterday. No one told me that I had to use it within 2 days!! Then the gal made me pay for another car wash, so I paid $$11.00 for the basic but paid $14.00 for the epic one on Friday. So basically, I paid $25.00 for basic service. I am not a happy camper at all. read more

Since their cut back on personnel, expect long waits. Their lack in management to render customer service is horrible. Good luck

I always get a kick out of the attendant when they ask...Are your mirrors and antenna okay to go through? They have been told to ask this by their employers in order to place you at fault for any damage the car wash does. It's fun to redirect the question and reply...well I don't know you tell me, you're the one that works here or well I don't know are they okay to go through? Trust me they have a lot of trouble answering that direct question and have been told not to. Thanks, Monte McKean read more

I can't remember the last time I was treated so rudely! Sam was yelling for me to pull forward but I kept motioning him to approach because i wanted to make sure he removed all the bird droppings and the writing the girl put on my windshield. Last time they didn't. He refused to approach me. Kept yelling and yelling. Finally he stomped over and said fine what do you want? So demanding and disrespectful and RUDE!! I told him the problem and he brushed me off disrespectfully again. I couldn't believe someone would treat a customer this way. In the end there were still bird droppings on my car. He still didn't bother to do a good job. Seriously can't believe that kid. If you hate your job go work some place else. All the other kids are so kind. This guy needs to take some lessons. It's not the best car wash place. Soapy water remains on your car the end it is never rinsed clean. But it's convenient. After this kid I'm kind of almost done with this place. read more

Place is the worst. Express lane takes longer to get in then the other as they allow pay by credit cards to be used which causes the members to wait in line. They raise prices but don't inform you till you see it posted on your bank statement. So happy to go elsewhere for my car wash needs. Total rip-off. Stay clear of this place. When calling main office person was rude. The company rep that replied (Todd) is a sad excuse for the company. Nothing changes but the amount of $$ they can increase without informing the customer. I've gone to another local car wash that is cheaper and won't ever return. And the lower price one does a much better job. read more

I had been on an extended vacation and upon my return, went to the Wash on Mooney to use my Club Card....assuming I had a fair amount of them available. When the card did not work, the attendant told me that these cards were "use it or lose it" within each Calendar month. That means I likely paid for and LOST over 8 washes. That policy was never made clear, and even so, it is a horrible policy that is not customer oriented at all. I was furious... and even the attendant agreed that is was unfair and needed to change. BUYER BEWARE...the Club Cards are not a good value at all. I will go back to Red Carpet. read more

This is my main go to car wash and the main reason is how easy it is and they have a decent vacuum area. However this place gets packed on Fri, Sat and Sunday or even in the evening hours of summer. It could be up to a 20-30 min wait in line. I tend to go early morning on my day off. For the ultimate wash is think it's about $14. They offer a free air freshener; black ice is my favorite. They do a quick brush threw over car before going into wash. Depending on who is working or how busy it is, depends on how good of a job they do. Most of the time they are too busy chatting with each other than scrubbing the car. The best part is the the actual wash, which is pretty good compared to other places. The vacuum self service is convenient but lately they need to clean out the pipes because the sucking force is decreased. The convenience is what keeps me coming back. read more

The car wash on Cameron a little bit better than the one on Mooney. Basically the driveway up to the car wash is fairly narrow and has a curve in it. I drive a three-quarter ton truck and it is a real challenge to make it through the driveway to the car wash. I also think that the car wash on Cameron probably washes the vehicle a little bit better. read more

Long time customer. Not anymore. I went to get my car washed and purchased the Ultimate, which at this point is their highest quality wash. I got home and realized that my car is still extremely dirty, and called to ask if there was any way to get a rewash. I was told that since I left the property, I was unable to get a rewash. That is ridiculous. I didn't stop to vacuum my car because I didn't have time. It's ridiculous, and when I told them that, they said that most people stop to check if their car was clean, and that since it is an express wash, I shouldn't expect my car to be fully clean. What is the point of a car wash then?? Especially for $14???? I'm extremely disappointed and will be cancelling my membership. I also never leave one star reviews, but wow. We have been coming here for about 3 years now. The service is always great and the kids work really hard. The vacuums are always working well and I like the air blowers they offer. I have tried these people three different times. Every time they leave dirt on the back of my Honda CR-V by the license plate. I have called it to their attention and they have still not been able to get the vehicle clean. Then, after the last wash, I noticed two parallel scratches on my hood and multiple scratches on the rear passenger side panel. Of course it will be at my expense to get this fixed as I did not take a photo of the car immediately before and after they washed it so they will deny it was them but I did walk around my vehicle before I drove over there so I know it was damaged at their facility. Their failure to even be able to clean ordinary dirt off the back hatch of my SUV alone would disqualify them from my using them again, but the additional scratches sealed the deal. I will be stopping by to stop the auto pay and using a different car wash from now on. read more

Friendly staff and easy in and out. Hard to fine at first but it was found using the other yelp reviews. We text "Shine" to 58124 for a FREE Ultimate carwash... Yes it was free! They have blowers and vacuums after the wash. The monthly plan is pretty nice and most of the competition is doing the same. I enjoy the ease of this place in availability as they seem to be popping up all over the Central Valley. Being able to just drive thru and get my car washed at any location is extremely nice. The vacuum and blowers are just a great way to really get that cleaning of your car done more efficiently too. I do wish there was some option to do a more thorough cleaning with like a pay to use shampooing stall or something. If they had an option to get a deeper clean done that would be a great addition to this wonderful place.
