This is an update to my original review of Dr Rasania. This Cardiologist "showed up" at my follow up visit. Dr Rasania provided me with the results of my Echo Cardiogram, and was very straightforward with an apparent diagnosis. I'll still need 2 more invasive tests before he can go ahead with my surgery. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. I felt he was really engaged. read more

Dr Rasania personally is a wonderful DR my husband and I both see him. The front desk staff is terrible! They hang up on you all the time, I've had to call back multiple times and the girls I have had on the phone are incredibly rude and not helpful whatsoever. They are argumentative and I hate calling for an apt. He is considered the best cardiologist in the 909 however his office staff really needs training on how to be polite and stop picking up a call and hanging up on people. The staff is horrible here!! read more

I am sorry to say but this office seems very disorganized, one of my doctors called Dr. Tasmania right in front of me to get an earlier appointment that I had with another Cardiologist, the Dr told my doctor " I'll get him in right away"...."I will call him". Waited a week and no call back, I called and you can only leave a message- I left a message and never received a call back, I called back and explained the situation to the girl, she said we'll call you back.....nothing. Next I receive a text reminder of an appointment, I never agreed to because I didn't receive a call back. I cancelled and call my other cardiologist which was able to move my appointment up....terrible and unorganized. read more

Dr. Rasania is a great cardiologist who takes his time to make sure his patient knows what's going on. He will explain each test he orders for the patient just so they will understand what is going on as well. Besides that, he spends time explaining the results of your tests and explaining parts that are concerning. His staff is wonderful! All the ladies in the front are polite, helpful, and friendly, something that can be hard to find these days! Dr. Rasania is one of the best interventional cardiologist in SoCal. He has an amazing relationship with all of his patients, directly addressing their issues and educating them well on their conditions. Dr. Rasania is also a star interventional specialist at San Antonio Regional Hospital that has a state-of-the-art cath lab, and he couples it with his expertise and care. He does the most complex procedures and also has the fewest complications. He also does all of his own procedures for his patients from angiograms to stents, and you can be sure he will be with you the whole step of the way. His staff is also incredibly kind, helpful and very efficient, and they makes sure all the appointments run smoothly so patients are not waiting long. They are can set up all your appointments. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Rasania. I went to see him to get a second opinion. I found him from running into some of his patients and they all spoke very highly about him and his practice. After my diagnosis he gave me my options. I explained I am not ready to have this done so he agreed to have me return every 6 months to be re-evaluated. I am not the most compliant patient when told by doctors what to do yet he would see me and update me on my condition with a lot of respect and care. On January 9th 2023 he did a valve replacement for me. His skill, compassion, bedside manner is excellent. He communicates very well and explains details in a way that makes sense to anyone. Dr. Rasania has been a life saver! He's been one of the best doctors I've had in my life and I wish more doctors were like him. First his bedside manner is professional yet so welcoming. Dr. Rasania's an awesome cardiologist. I brought my dad to the office the other day for a follow-up visit and it was a wonderful, stress-free experience. I had a few questions about his medications and any procedures he may have to have in the future and Dr. Rasania answered all my questions and was very reassuring. Right now, they're also doing Telehealth visits to minimize COVID exposure, which is a huge time saver! But even so, we felt pretty safe with the office being well sanitized and the staff so meticulous in complying with safety precautions and guidelines.
