Rude, uncaring, unprofessional, disrespectful, dirty, and disorganized. They rescheduled me for a scan MULTIPLE times with the cardiologist. He took over an hour to come in once I finally got my appointment, barely acknowledged me, and talked over me the entire appointment. Didn't go over my results with me, didn't even bother to hear my concerns, and made me feel less than human. Seemed rushed and aloof. Told me he couldn't answer even the simplest question and blew me off before walking out of the room and sending in a secretary to give me the paperwork. Horrible bedside manner. Don't be fooled by the few positive reviews on here.. if you go to this office, you will waste your time and energy. read more

This place was in pretty bad shape. The chairs were SO dirty I didn't even sit down. I waited 50 min before I was even called into a room which is unacceptable. when I got into the room and Dr. Ahn came in, he seemed very disheveled. Dr.Ahn asked me some questions, I answered. then he asked me the same questions again. He did not go over my referral paperwork and had no idea why I was there. he spent about 15 min with me and wanted to do a few test. My mother's appointment was horrible! We waited 45 mins past my mother's appointment time. Dr. Ahn came in for 5 mins and asked my 79 year old mom how she was feeling and then said see you in 6 months. I said, no ecg? He said we can do it in 6 months. I said well it's been 1 1/2 yrs. He said oh, He ordered it, came in to read the results said all good see you in 6 months. I said how about 1 year, he said perfect, 1 year since all is good Not impressed, AT ALL. Doesn't seem to care about being thorough. Just appears to me he's more concerned with collecting Medicare checks! Also, they asked us to bring in her lab results, He didn't look at those either until I said, do you want to see her lab results? They asked me to bring them. He said oh yes, he took 15 seconds to read them and then said, looks great Stay way from this guy, he's doesn't care! Horrible!!! read more

I recently had a heart attack, Dr. Ahn saved my life in the ER, he was quick efficient and very thorough. I as a retired Combat Medic know the importance of staying competent in your profession, he is a prime example if a Dr. that strives for perfection in all his surgeries, I would trust him again if I needed surgery. read more

I saw Dr. Ahn twice for chest pain etc and I found him to be extremely belittling. It seemed like he wanted the appointment to be over as soon as possible and did not want to hear about the symptoms I was experiencing. I brought up other symptoms and chronic health issues I have because I thought it would be helpful to figure out a diagnosis and he said "I'm a cardiologist, that means im a heart doctor. Other issues bring up with your primary," talking to me as if im stupid. I also mentioned a heart condition that another specialist said was a possibility for me and he interrupted me saying "thats not what you have." I had to convince him to actually check for it. At one point when I was explaining my medical history, a receptionist came in to tell him there was a call for him, and he left the room in the middle of my sentence. When he came back, he started talking about what tests he was going to order and I had to remind him that I wasn't done explaining my situation. At a certain point I felt myself shutting down and that is why I didn't realize till later that he NEVER EVEN LOOKED at the chest x ray that I got in preparation for the appointment. I made another appointment to dicuss this because I saw on my x ray portal that there were some concerns in the report and it recommended I get a CT scan. I ended up getting a 2nd x ray in the ER later that week because my pain was so severe. When I talked with Dr. Ahn about this he said he didn't have access to the first x ray, but the 2nd was normal and he didn't see the point in ordering a CT scan. I pressed him, saying my pain has been going on for months and is worsening, so he agreed... but suggested that I am a hypochondriac and am having chest pain bc of the anxiety from thinking there is something is wrong with me. If you are young or femme presenting he is not going to take you seriously. read more

I'm Very Disappointed with this Place . I knew of June of this Year that my Insurance wasn't NO LONGER COVERED an They Wait to Tell me ONE DAY BEFORE MY NEXT APPOINTMENT to Tell me . Why didn't they Tell me the Last Time I was him this unprofessional . I Don't blame the Dr . Office provides no assistance in obtaining records and results. Office has been requested numerous times to provide disk of echocardiogram and has failed to do so read more

No bedside manner. Office is rude and unprofessional. The appointments were mixed up on three different occasions and they blamed the patient. If you make a mistake, own up and take responsibility. Referral was in January still don't have any answers. I will seek treatment elsewhere - HMO or not. read more

The staff at this office is unprofessional. You call them to get information and they put you on hold for 10-15 minutes. I call backed 3 times and get the same response. Dr. Ahn ask you a question and you answer and he turns around and repeat the same question again as if he didn't hear you the first time. That seemed very odd to me. I was told his assistant would call in my prescription, but she never did call it in. I checked with the Pharmacy 3 times and they never received the prescription from the doctor. I found out that this particular prescription had such bad side effects for me that it could cause me more problems. I refused to take this medication. He never bothered to find an different medication that could help me. He wanted to do a procedure on me that could cause me more kidney damage because the test involved injecting dye into my veins to test for any type of stoppage I may have in the veins going into my heart. I told him I can't take this procedure because it would cause me more kidney damage, because I'm diabetic. That didn't seem to phase him at all. He still asked me if I'm going to get the procedure. I couldn't believe Dr. Ahn asked me again if I'm going to take the procedure. What is it you don't understand that this procedure can cause me more kidney damage. Everything today is about money and not the care of the patient. This office and service is one of the worst I have been to. Their receptionist area were you sat to wait to be called, their chairs are much too low for seniors. It so hard to get up out of their chairs. There is no one to accommodate you. HMO should review their specialist more thoroughly before they put some of these specialists in their network. I give this doctor and office a 1 star. I'll never go back to Inland Cardiology office or Dr. Ahn again. read more
