A local favorite, Supreme has great food at reasonable prices. The roast beef always tastes great. The sauce is spicy and has a bite. Don't over do it! They are very generous with the french fries and onion rings. Small is large enough to feed two people. Friendly staff. It can be very busy with high school students in the afternoon and evening. read more

Supreme is always consistent however we are never wow'ed by anything. My husbands "go to" is the roast beef basket 3 way. He says it's pretty average when comparing to local places. I've had the zucchini sticks and pizza roll which i would say the same about. Pretty average. Quick pick up time & affordable prices. I'd say it's worth giving it a shot! read more

Used to be so much better. About ten years ago, I literally ate here every single day for almost 2 years. Most of the employees were part of the family and they literally knew what 500 of their most frequent customers were going to get. On a great day, this place still absolutely rocks. On a bad day its just OK. For every 2 OK days, you get a great day. I still say take the gamble! Just don't get a hamburger or sub here. Go elsewhere for that. This place is good for roast beef and a few of their appetizers only. If you want a guaranteed great roast beef, also try Nick's RB in Beverly (my favorite despite growing up around the corner from Supremes) read more

So quick and so good! They have fabulous skinny fries! Yum!! So salty and so many of them!! The burgers are fantastic and large! And less than $3! Simply crazy and insane!! This beef is fresh beef - not frozen. You can really tell that they are hand-formed and seasoned so well! Juicy and fabulous! My stomach growling for a burger! read more

I don't know how to start on this. The beef is half of what I was use too. The French frys are soggy, the so called onion rings about 8-10. Were so soaked with oil it's like they were left over and tried to retry to cook them. The salad was all brown and wilted. If I really wasn't so hungry I would have return and request my money back. Never again will I eat here. My old stomping grounds. Must have changed ownership. You can try and stay in business with this type of food but I don't think it's going to happen. Best of luck to you. My hard earned money on this is not going to happen again. read more

Very disappointed with this place. It's my favorite place for roast beef but with a pandemic going on you would think the cooks and the cashier would be wearing a mask and gloves. I won't be going back there til they wanna be more sanitary. Very unprofessional. read more

I am actually here right now as I type this and I have to note that I am a fan. I had to try their fries to see what all the hype was about, and everyone was right- their fries are very good. I like that they are thin and not fat like other places. HOWEVER my one thing about this place is the KETCHUP that comes with the fries is awful!! Might i suggest invesing in some HEINZ? Seriously, the ketchup just does nothing for the fries and with fries this good you need the best ketchup also. I would honestly consider it because it DOES make a difference. Also another side note for everyone, when you order a salad, make sure to ask for extra dressing on the side, just in case. I have found that they do not provide enough. read more

Get the chicken finger sub 3-way or roast beef 3-way -- cannot go wrong -- these guys know how to cook

One year ago, my gf and I ordered a sub and roast beef from Supreme only to find that many of the toppings my gf ordered for were missing. It was literally just chicken pieces tossed into a sub roll. My roast beef was good. Because of the dissatisfaction my gf had for this place after that instance, which at the time I didn't think was a big deal, we avoided Supreme for the good part of a year. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.... So recently we finally came back to Supreme (after finding one Subway was closed earlier than their posted hours indicated, and another Subway having no sub rolls left). I ordered another roast beef ($5.80 as of 4/18/2015) and my now fiancee ordered a veggie sub ($3.25). She called Supreme in advance to find out about the vegetables. Are they grilled, fresh, etc.? They confirm the vegetables were fresh and not grilled. So I go to pick up the order without knowing exactly what she ordered. The bill somehow got to $14.07. I inquired as to why a roast beef sub and vegetable sub would both cost that much. The lady at the register told me my fiancee ordered a chicken kabob sub. She then asked the cook to clarify the order who told her that the sub was a veggie sub. She only deducted a $1 from the original charge (after hearing her mummer something about there being a difference of $2). I still thought I was being over charged but thought perhaps the toppings or something was ordered that increased the price...always know what you're picking up (which I tend to, but not this time). As I get home, I looked up exactly what we ordered and well $5.80 + $3.25 + tax (6.25%) DOES NOT EQUAL $13.07 (it's $9.62 rounded up). And there is no mention of extra toppings costing anything. It's a difference of roughly $4, but the principle is that they schemed me to gain an extra few dollars (that's called fraud for short). The lady's immediate assumption of there being only a difference of a $1 was too rushed to indicate any form of care for the customer. Moral of the story is not to go here. They didn't care or pay attention to our order the two times we came here that were both a year apart, so their carelessness is a consistent practice. read more

I've eaten here a few times before and the food was always decent. I recently stopped by after work to pick up a sub and fries and got home and was disappointed. all day I was craving pickles, so I decided to get a chicken cutlet sub with American cheese, extra pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and light mayo with a side of small fries. there was only 1 other person in there and my food was ready in less than 5 minutes. I brought it home and realized they forgot my cheese, pickles, and onions. just shredded lettuce and tomatoes, and soggy chicken pieces and fries... I was so disappointed. did they pay attention at all to my order? I wish I had those items in my fridge but didn't so my sub was really bland.. also they covered it in mayo when I asked for light. I will not be coming back, even though my bf likes to go there.. read more

I stopped here while on a road trip and had a total unexpectedly good cheese steak: soft bread, good sliced & chopped beef, and one slice of white cheese (perfect, since usually they have too much chesse). The other road trippers I was with had seafood platters and onion rings and kept commenting on how fresh it all was. Well worth the visit. read more

I stop in here when I'm in the area and have never been disappointed. The food is always great, especially the onion rings! The ladies who usually wait on me (Mindy & Stephanie???) are wonderful. Keep up the great work. read more

Love this place. It's just good, hands down. My best friend and I come whenever we're staying in Danvers. The amount of fries and onion rings you get is insane and the sandwiches are sure to fill you up. Do yourself a favor and get a "dinner" its a ton of food at a great price. read more

I am in town staying at my daughter's while she is away. I walked here today for lunch to try their roast beef sandwich. I got a super roast beef sandwich with barbecue sauce, onions, lettuce and tomatoes on an onion roll with a basket size side of onion rings. The portions were huge, the roll fresh and soft, the roast beef piled high was tender and tasty and the onion rings delectable! I left with a very full and happy belly. I read other reviews that said cash only and terrible ketchup. They now do take credit cards and they are using a good ketchup. I will definitely return here on my next trip to Danvers! read more

the best roast beef on the north shore, even better than kelley's in my opinion. the sauce is great but can be overwhelming if you dont like spicy. if that's the case, go for a junior roast beef, light on the sauce, and you'll be happy. delicious fries too... annually on their anniversary they offer prices from the year they opened. although i dont remember exactly when that is, the prices are rock-bottom and the line is out the door and down the block. a few tables to sit at, but most people just pick up and take home. read more

I was a huge fan of this place about a year ago, but recently, the quality of the staff has gone way down. There is one woman who works the counter , she is rude, and very slow. I often wait over 15-20 minutes just to be waited on, even when I call in an order. I will not be going there any longer with her working behind the counter. read more

3 stars, don't get me wrong the food is good but the portion size on some of their "dinners" is meager at best. Just got the steak tip dinner and left with a giant box of fries and onion rings with 6 of the tiniest tips I've ever seen. read more

Nothin' better than a good ol' fashioned 'remes job. Gimme a beef basket extra sauce, extra mayo with a small coke and I'm good to go. Tell me something, is it me or does a coca-cola taste BETTER at supremes?!?! Not a big fan of soda but I crave Remes soda. Maybe its the ice. Whatever it is, it's goooood. Being a non-Bostonians or more specifically, non North-Shorians, I was wondering what the heck was up with all these places that read something like "Blah, blah's seafood and roast beef". As it turns out, the region has a specific kind of roast beef - served rare. I mean seriously every corner seems to have a place advertising that they have world famous roast beef. Typically, these places offer a couple of different sides: onions, mushrooms, mayo, barbeque sauce, cheese - but you have to tell them if you want them and they won't tell you. Its just sort of assumed. Since I didn't know any of this, when we arrived at "Supreme Roast Beef", I asked "What's on it" to which I received a quizzical look and was told "roast beef of course". After I figured out that you placed the toppings with your order, I added mushrooms and onions on the large size roast beef, which comes on a sesame bun. I should point out that the roast beef is served room temperature. All in all, not bad - but a definite surprise if you aren't expecting it. The I also got the breaded scallops, which were good - quite juicy in fact. My friends got an eggplant permission sandwich, which apparent wasn't very good as it didn't actually come with permission (hmm) and a chicken sandwich, which was actually quite good. Both were really impressed with the prices. I agree - everything on the menu was under $10. Probably explains why it was so popular with the local high school kids. Overall, a decent place to stop in and grab a bit to eat, but nothing earth shattering. 3.5 five stars. read more

Great subs. My husband and I had subs at lunchtime he the cheesesteak 12" and I the Italian 12". Both freshly made as ordered. The portion is so large it is hard to finish and you find that you are full all day. Great quality meats, delicious! read more

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM. First time patron of Supreme's, despite living on the North Shore for nearly 5 years. I had a roast beef sandwich and fries, due to a severe, unfortunate craving two Fridays ago. Supreme's did NOT disappoint, with juicy, tender slices of roast beefy heaven on a bun. The fries provided just enough salt and crisp to feed my pregnancy-like-without-being-pregnant craving. I will be back very very very soon. read more

Delicious roast beef. Fresh onion roll and cooked pretty well. Could have been a little rarer but the taste and tenderness made up for it. Onion rings were super greasy but what do you expect? Great lunch in all and am planning on going back. read more

I had the Fresh Haddock sandwich today for lunch! Best fish sandwich i've eaten! Blows away anything Essex, Ipswich have to offer & it's only 5.25! Be 9 or 10 bucks anywhere else... Take my review rather lightly as i have only lived here for 6 months now, but Supremes absolutley rocks! I was recommended to their restaraunt by a friend whose family has lived in Danvers for at least 100 years. Her recommendation was spot on! Delicious, filling, great value, ability to customize, and a fun atmosphere. I have eaten here at least five times in six months and it has been nothing short of excellent each time. read more

My mom has been coming here since she was young and even though we moved to NH we still make special trips sometimes to go to Supreme's. Their roast beef sandwiches and sauce are amazing and we always get an order of onion rings a little overdone so they're nice and crunchy. The portions are generous which is great if you like to eat a lot in one sitting or save some for later - the roast beef even tastes good cold or reheated! read more

I'm pretty sure I only like the food here still because of something akin to a stubborn, unfounded high school rivalry. Odd emotional attachment aside, the service is HORRIBLE. They never get orders right when you order over the phone. One time I mentioned this and checked I order before leaving. I got a snarky response from the woman that I was mistaken but low and behold my order was wrong. If you weren't raised in Danvers, you will find this food mediocre. If you know somebody who did grow up here and demanded you try it, you will surely be disappointed. Don't rub it in to your friend; it's hard for us to move on. read more

I've been a Danvers resident my entire life and Supreme's was always my home away from home.. You could never beat their roast beef sandwiches! However, in the past 9 years, they've gone down hill so far and so fast! There have been numerous times my family and I ate there and have got, what tasted like 4 day old RB! It was close to rancid. But what bothered me the most was seeing the cook in the back, flipping burgers and what not, as his sweat from his forehead dripped slowly all over customer's food! The last time we ate there was about 4 years ago, so I should give it a try again, to see if perhaps, they upgraded a bit.. Then I promise to give a MUCH better review, but I just can't, after getting sick too many times with them! They are just not what they used to be, like back in the '70s, '80s and early '90s. Too bad b/c they're prices are very reasonable, they're fast and friendly! read more

Used to be a local favorite in high school, after last experience I'll never even walk in there again! Tuesday afternoon, 1:30, DEAD, one customer sitting down, workers standing around, I ask for a garden salad with tuna fish, please just lettuce and cucumbers, guys gets so angry starts shaking his head and loudly saying "NO THESE SALADS ARE PRE-MADE!!" I nicely told the guy that if it was a big deal to just leave it and I'd take it off. I have A PEPPER ALLERGY!!! He continues to complain loudly that the salads are pre/made. Coming from a family who has owned a restaurant for over 50 years I don't see any reason why they cannot accommodate a customer when they are not busy. The rude remarks in the attitude just made it so much worse. I walked out and told him I was all set. That will be my last time there. read more
