I just went to Supreme Nails in Orem, and was just expecting average service, but WOW, was I wrong! Le (pronounced Lee) did a thorough and meticulous job. I went is with scary, calloused "doggie-paws" and walked out with perfect, pink baby feet! I almost don't recognize them, except they are attached to my legs! And can I mention the cushy massage chair? It was 45 minutes of my own personal robotic masseuse. It was as almost as good as a real person, (or maybe I'm just really touch deprived). I had cut my nails the day before, but I hadn't had a chance to shape them, so they were all uneven. Unfortunately, my experience left me very disappointed. The technician used a previously used sanding band and a pumice stone that did not appear to be new. I didn't pay close enough attention to the nippers, so I'm hoping they had been properly cleaned and disinfected. The service also felt very impersonal. There was little to no conversation or engagement throughout my appointment, which made the experience feel rushed and unwelcoming. As a salon owner and nail technician with over 20 years of experience, sanitation, professionalism, and client experience are incredibly important to me. I'm not going here again. The nail lady sat me a desk away from my friend when it was empty but full of clutter. Then she continued to chat to the other employee loudly as she did my nails. Eventually she asked me if I wanted to be closer to my friend and we said yes. She proceeded to sit me in the chair next to her and instead of the nail lady sitting on the other side of the manicure table she sat next to me. So I was sitting at a fully cluttered table and she was making me turn to my right when my friend was to the left. They also damaged my nails badly. She only took about 15 mins to complete my nails and I felt she didn't even care about my experience. The polish was bubbly and came off fast. During my service she looked at my eyebrows with a face of judgement and asked me 2x if I wanted to get my eyebrows threaded when I had only scheduled a nail service. Then at first when I told her I wanted regular nail polish she kept trying to force me along with the other nail lady she was talking to go with gel. I can't do gel nails and I didn't feel respected to valued as a customer asking politely for just a normal polish manicure. They damaged my nails badly. She used an acrylic nail file which is like very harsh gritty sand paper for my natural nails for no reason. The phone rang almost the entire time on and off and it was loud in my ear. read more

Gel lifting less than 24 hours after getting it done: my gel pedicure that was over priced ($15 extra for gel) has begun to lift less than 24 hours after getting the service. my lady was nice, spoke little English but really jabbed me while cutting cuticles. I'm not impressed. I'm going to try to go back when the are open (closed for the holiday) and maybe I'll update this for a 3 star. read more

Don't go here if you care about your natural nails. My gel mani-pedi turned out wonderful, and it was obvious that every employee was determined to do their job correctly. I was given extra coats of the polish for opacity without needing to ask, which is surprisingly rare for any salon I've been to. The pedicure was thorough and relaxing. They were able to fit my 2 sisters and I in within 10 minutes notice. They required masks and sanitization at the door, which I appreciated, and they have put up sneeze guards where necessary. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, even with my shy little sister. That being said: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR NATURAL NAILS. I had month-old acrylics removed prior to my gel manicure, and not only was it painful, but it was unlike any other technique I'd seen before. My acrylics were clipped with straight-edge clippers (ouch, but I decided to roll with it) before being literally pried off with a metal tool. As someone who doesn't exactly care for her natural nails, I was surprised but not upset. That was until he began to fold my natural nail down across my fingertip to be able to hack away at the acrylic more easily. It was incredibly uncomfortable having my nails folded this way, and my nails were left very weak because of this bending procedure. I'm no nail tech, but I am almost positive this was the incorrect way to go about acrylic removal. ADORE the polish and the pedicure, hate the acrylic removal. I highly recommend for a standard mani-pedi, but NEVER for acrylic removal! I'd definitely go back, so long as there are no acrylics involved. read more

I recently came in to have a powder dip mani. I'm from out of town and I come here because a family member does. First off instead of placing a cotton ball soaked in remover and wrapping each individual finger to remove previous powder dip polish she soaked my fingers in straight polish remover and had to do that five times on each hand until my fingers were white and chalky because they were so dried out. When I tried to place just my fingertips in the remover she pushed my hand further, and then I told her it was too drying on my hands. Then after a few minutes, she put in an ear bud and had a conversation with someone in her language during all of the appointment except the last 15 minutes. The appointment took almost an hour and a half for a regular powdered dip manicure although one finger did have some artwork on it but that wasn't started until an hour and 10 minutes into the appointment. within the next four days 3 of my nails had chipped because the dip powder did not have enough layers, according to how I've had them done at other places. I did go back and have one repaired, however, after the next chip chip/crack I just super glued it down. She was rough, twisting my thumbs and they were sore the next day. I was very very disappointed in the professionalism and service. I have never left a review for any business before, but this was so blatantly bad I felt I should. I will never go back. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years and we have loved how they would do our nails because they were so attentive with how you wanted them. Just recently that I've been going they've been a little messy and don't listen to what you want. Every time I ask for a specific shape, they never do it correctly. I had to file my own coffin nails because they make the nail really stubby instead of thin like the coffin is supposed to be. Save your money and go elsewhere . Unfortunately, this place was very disappointing and quite personally I felt it wasn't very sanitary. There was grit, nail shaving and "dust" everywhere in this place. Luckily I only had my nails polished, because I wouldn't want a manicure from this place. Not to mention the gel was all over my cuticles and surrounding area, but of a mess. The color started to get ugly and chip in a matter of days. I've given two stars because I liked the color of my nails and I got out in about 10 minutes or so. It was the worst, most painful experience I've ever had. I went to get a pedicure. The lady that did the service was so rough. She never asked how short I wanted my nails so she clipped them off until the nail clippers no longer fit comfortably under the nail. Then she proceed to cut the edges of every single toe nail. She cut them vertically and moved from the end of the nails all the way to the cuticle and then would yanked the long strip of nail off. I kept telling her she was hurting me, and she would response with "don't worry. Relax" every time she poked me or YANKED skin or nails off, my toes and feet would react (which is normal) and I would pull away a little. She would push my feet down and fell me to please relax my feet. Finally when I couldn't take it anymore (she was cutting the edges of my big toe AGAIN) I stopped her midway and told her to just leave it as it, because she is hurting me. I couldn't take the pain anymore. She said she had to because I had an in grown toenail. I told her they are not ingrown. The shape of my toenails AND fingernails have a deep curve. I wonder why she is cutting the edges of all my nails? Do I have in grown nails on all of them? Obviously I didn't. Either way she was hurting me and I just wanted her to stop. She proceed to finish the nail anyway. She never tried to be gently regardless of what I said. I should have gotten up and left, but I was there with my friend for her birthday and I didn't want to make a bigger seen. This morning I woke up and my toes are burning. I'm not even standing up and they hurt. I just don't understand why she would continue to do what she wanted to regardless of what I was saying her. I would have loved for her to ask me (before SHE decided what she wanted my nails to look like) how I like my nails, or that she thinks I have an in grown toe nails and that she could cut them off for me. I would have loved to have options, but like I said, she decided what she wanted to do and continue to work in a rough way, regardless of me saying "You are hurting me" I called my friend this morning and she said her toes hurt too. I asked for a gel manicure - it didn't feel any different than a basic gel polish at any other salon. I would have just asked for a basic polish if I knew the extra $10 for the manicure would have been wasted. Beyond that my nails started chipping within a week of getting the manicure. I really like the service and talent of the employees at Supreme Nail. I usually call ahead because they are always busy with a very full clientele, but they find a way to work me in right away and I appreciate that. They offer more options than many local salons. If you just want your toenails painted and want to skip the rest of the pedicure process, they have that option. They don't use the evil, metal razor scrapers on your feet should you opt for the full pedicure. When I opted for the full pedicure last time, they didn't bring out the hot wax and I have to tell you, as a germ phobe, I was really relieved because I always opt out of that anyway at other salons because I just can't stop wondering how many feet have been dipped in between wax changes. One last note, they do fantastic designs, not just the standard, boring, 5 petal flower. You will be happy you chose to get your nails done here! read more

I had gel nails on which is on my natural nailbed, not fake nails. The man Lam filed some of the paint off, then got a big bowl of Acetone for my fingers to soak in with a towel covered over it so I don't inhale it too much. This is NOT the proper and professional way to remove gel/shellac nail polish. You're supposed to use foil, and while I was getting a pedicure, he was supposed to put the acetone in soaked cotton balls, then cover each finger nail with foil and allow it to sit for as long as possible so when he removes it the gel paint easily comes right off, leaving my nail bed in tact. He has weakened my nailbed by shaving it down with the filer. He hit my cuticles a few time with the nail filer which hurt, so when I soaked it in acetone, that stuff can get into my bloodstream. Unfortunately, this will be the first and the last time I'm coming here. The price is good. The pedicure was great. But my manicure was compromising my health. When he's filing down my nails, I'm inhaling the shedding of the gel and he didn't even allow me to wash the stuff off my hands and forearms. I'm paying attention to see about health codes being adhered to. Another negative is that there's poor ventilation and air circulation in this salon. My mother and I were coughing upon entering. Thanks for trying though. We paid, but won't return again. We will do our due diligence to interview around Orem/Lindon/Provo salons about their safe and professional practices. Our health must come before anything else. We'll pay top dollars as long as we're satisfied with the care that's being granted to us. read more

I think I've been spoiled by my nail salon in California. Supreme Nails was not as clean as I would have liked. But more importantly, my daughter's pedicure started chipping within hours of leaving the salon. I had a gel manicure and it started lifting within 24 hours of leaving the salon. The next day one of my nails broke. The people there are kind, but I'd have to be desperate to go there again. read more
