This place has cleaned 2 of my leather coats so well and at a good price (about $60). One tip is just to call before you go though because sometimes the hours vary from what is posted online. BEWARE of Jack and his lack of customer service. He absolutely ruined a leather skirt I sent for cleaning. At first my feeling was "it is leather, it is always a risk to clean it, this happens." However, upon speaking with him, being yelled at by him and then having him hang up on me I realize Jack is a rude and mean business owner. Thank god my husband found Jack!!!! this place is actually not in SF it's now in San Leandro. I made the mistake of letting my teenage nephew sleep on my very expensive Latte colored leather designer couch from Design Within Reach. OMG,, as he slept his blue jean dye rubbed into the leather and "&$@ it UP!! Big time. After a few hours of anger for my bad decision to let him sleep there, I started looking on line for product. The dye was embedded and all over. Seriously frantic I ordered and spoke to a leather expert who sent me $170 worth of product. I tried it and made it worse. My husband scarred from watching me fall apart, Googled and found Jack !!! We took the whole sectional piece to him next day and HE FIXED it !! if I hadn't messed with it and found Hack earlier it would have been better but Jack got the blue out and it's hardly noticeable. They do a wonderful job and actually clean the rugs the old fashion way (not just with a bunch of toxic chemicals). Depending on where you live, they also pick up and deliver, which is a great help. The silk fabric was soiled, the dress had shrunk 6 inches, and the fit was now too tight to even zip up. After many months of extremely unpleasant phone interactions with the owner, Jack, he agreed to pay only 50% of the cost to replace the gown. During the course of our conversations, he was very rude and disrespectful, even hanging up on me on three different occasions. I would give five negative stars if I could. Supreme Leather ruined my wife's almost new $600 leather jacket. It shrank inches, no longer fits her and is a much much lighter shade than originally. In fact, different parts are now different colors! "Jack" was very rude and refused to pay for the jacket. He claimed we signed a release. We did not. He claimed he warned us that the cleaning would be at our risk. He did not. He said the jacket "was not meant to be cleaned" but could not explain why he cleaned it. If I could give no stars, I would. We owned a beautiful 3 1/2 year old area rug that cost over $800. Took it to Marshall Steel Cleaners in Castro Valley to have it cleaned for the first time. Unknown to us, they had it sent out to Supreme Leather for cleaning, who RUINED the rug. It was a wool rug and they steam cleaned it with water. Every idiot knows you do not clean a WOOL rug with water. The owner, Jack, is RUDE and a BIG liar. When we told him he ruined our rug, he called us liars and said our rug was old and came to him in the same condition he returned it. We had our receipts to prove that the rug was fairly new. We went back and forth for months with Jack who continued his rude and abusive behavior towards us. Because he would not replace our rug, we took him to small claims court where he continued to lie, lie, lie! He was rude to us and made comments to my husband that were defamatory. Thankfully, the judge in the case is ruling in our favor and we are receiving compensation. read more
