I highly recommend this place, I brought my computer in because it was not starting up the guy at the counter told me he would take a look and let me know what he found the next day. The next day he called and told me that there was a issue with the motherboard and that he did not work on motherboards and he would only be able to replace the whole thing he strongly urged me against this because it would take over a month and cost up to $700, he then recommended me to another computer service place in new your that work on the current mother board for a more reasonable price. I really do admire this guy for being honest and ethical he knew that replacing the motherboard would be more costly and time consuming and instead of lying and trying to get me to spend $700 he recommended me another place that could fit my needs, he only charged me for the diagnostic which was more then fair and he also gave me all the info I would need when I go to get my motherboard fixed. My 2 years old Asus i7 laptop was badly infected by viruses. Also, hackers installed startup (syskey) password so I even could not get to Windows. I was unable to recover Operating System (OS) since hackers made some changes to the recovery partition. Ralf was able to restore factory (Windows 8.0) settings and completely updated OS to 8.1. On my request he installed Malware and Spyware programs so that I could control the system. I took laptop home and started installation of some other applications from the internet. I was not careful enough and along with needed applications installed some malware. Ralf asked me to bring laptop and fix the problem second time without any charge. My son returned from college for a weekend with a cracked screen on a fairly new Lenovo laptop. I called in advance and felt very assured from the start that all would be ok. I took an older Toshiba with a broken digitizer here, driving 45 minutes out of my way since I saw the good reviews compared to other places. They have worked on two of my computers and both times I was very happy with the results. Most recently, on my iMac, they replaced the hard drive with a sold-state drive (their suggestion to speed up the computer) and added RAM (this is a 21.5" iMac so it is very difficult to add RAM yourself) and fixed the broken headphone jack - all at a reasonable price and quickly.
