I love this place. They have a HUGE selection of sunglasses and they are all very reasonably priced. I had come here on two occasions, and both times, the staff spent a great deal of time helping me pick out the right glasses. The owner even "modeled" every pair of sunglasses I considered buying as a gift for my boyfriend. I will only go to supervision for sunglasses and in the near future, prescription glasses. They have a variety of sunglasses for both men and women and the staff are so helpful. I can never finsummer lasses that look good on me. They helped me find the best styles that were right for me. The customer service is fantastic. They also have great deals on all the new styles. I visited this place three times. Nice frame selection and helpful optician, but the verbal quote for eyeglasses and sunglasses was over $1,200, by far the highest quote I got in my search. I ended up buying more or less the same frames from Warby Parker for $700. Still, this is a good place, if you want a large selection of high end frames and are willing to pay a lot for the experience. read more

One of my contacts had been bothering all morning. I took it off and realized it had a tear in it. I live all the way in the San Gabriel Valley so driving blind was going to be dumb and dangerous. I googled for an optometrist and Super Vision Optical popped up. I walked right on over from my office and walked in to this amazing open ginormous selections of glasses and shades. Even before walking in two young ladies greated me and let me know someone would help me in a moment. Within 60 secs someone came out to ask how they could help. " My vision is 50% fuctional right now cause my contact fell. Can you help me?" She quickly said yes let me see what I can do. I showed her my prescription and went into what I can only imaging to be a plethora of vision/optical arsenal (contacts heaven). She walked back to me within a minute, totally solving my issue with my perfect match for contacts. I walked in 2:45pm and walked out with a smile at 2:50pm. I am going back for all my vision need. On a plane to LA for an important Beverly Hills CA meeting, the arms (temples) of my eyeglasses snapped off. In the car on my way toward the meeting, I wrote to Super Vision Optical telling them I had a very narrow timeframe to replace them. I sent them a photo of the eyeglasses. Within minutes Kam Silani called me, gave me directions to the store, and told me they had already picked out a selection of potential replacement arms, and they'd have them waiting for me. When I arrived, an experienced gentleman with an excellent service ethic welcomed me, showed me the choices, and in 15 minutes replaced the arms, fitted them perfectly, gave me a new glasses case, and I was on my way. Amazing service, stock and staff. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly employee and asked what I was looking for specifically. Within seconds there was an array of glasses sitting on the glass counter for my perusal. I got an amazing pair of Tom Ford glasses that are complimented almost everyday. I went to visit a friend in LA a few weeks ago and I forgot my sunglasses. I am a blue eyed, white girl (haha) and let me tell you, I always need sunglasses in California. I can't stand going outside without a pair on; gratefully, I found Kam and his staff at Super Vision Optical. My friend had heard about this place from a few of her friends who have been going here for a couple years but, had never been to the store herself. So on a Saturday afternoon, my friend and I walked into Super Vision Optical. I wasn't prepared for the sight I was about to see; floor to ceiling selection of glasses and sunglasses. I was not expecting that extravagant of a selection walking into a Beverly Hills store. Most of the stores I had been to prior to Super Vision Optical only display a select few brands and types. Super Vision Optical had already impressed me before I even spoke to someone. Shortly after closing our mouths from being in awe, Ashley greeted my friend and I and asked what we were looking for. She kindly told us that Kam would be more than happy to help us. Seconds later, this tall, dark and handsome man comes walking up to my friend and I. He introduced himself as Kam, the manager of the store; again, I was in awe. :) After spending only a few minutes talking with Kam about what I liked, the price range I had and my very sensitive blue eyes, he said he knew the perfect pair of sunglasses for me. He came back moments later with the pair I walked out with. I of course wanted to try on other sunglasses to make sure I was picking the perfect pair and because I'm very particular about what I like. About 20 minutes later, I had decided on the pair Kam had picked for me in the first place. I was so impressed with his vast knowledge of all the sunglasses and prescription glasses he offered in the store that I am coming back to purchase my new prescription glasses from him too. My friend also ended up buying a pair of sunglasses because their prices were so competitive to the store she had been going to for years (and she thought she was getting the best of everything there,not!) She also will be coming to Super Vision to make all her future purchases on contact lenses. Needless to say, Super Vision Optical not only proved their name but also went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Ashley is nice. I wanted to fix my broken glasses for vision. It was unfixable, but She immediately found for me the frame, which I can use for my old lenses. We talked about the price over the phone. But however when I came back next day, I was talking with another man, who wanted to sell me absolutely the same frame, but a different color for a higher price. It wasn't that expensive? But was pricey for the frame which is not even from any brand. Well when I refused he started negotiate with me, telling that he can do it cheaper. And this situation turned me down immediately, u guess he is thinking that he is somewhere in the market? Where he can negotiate with me? It's not professional. And when I said that I better will come with my own frame, he started to say that I will not find the same frame, even though I already found. And said if I will find it will be fake. I didn't wanted to argue. But how a person can be so impolite and rude. I will not come back there. And I don't like they treated me, like a fool. I keep on returning to Super Vision Optical because of its professional service, competitive prices and wide selection of both lenses and frames. I find its prices to be competitive with Costco, which while providing quality lenses, does not provide the same level of care in fitting and adjusting the frames, of which Super Vision Optical has a much larger selection. read more

After my negative review (WHICH CAN BE READ BELOW BY CLICKING READ MORE) detailing my exact encounter with this business, I received this personal message from the owner, Kam: We will respectfully refrain from making further comments on the preposterous claims made against our company. They are not only invalid, but also misleading. We have done our best to rectify matters, and believe we went out of our way to satisfy his requests, while also abiding by the Groupon offer. This gentleman was not only granted a full refund by our company, but also by Groupon. Any further comments and accusations are completely out of place. We take great pride in the service we provide to our patients. We believe to have done our best to come to an agreement with this patient, and can no longer address the desire to publicly debate an issue we believe to have done our best to resolve. We decline to comment further on these claims. MY REBUTTAL: Preposterous? Tell me one piece of my review that is not accurate? Everything is written as it happened. You only tried to rectify the situation AFTER I left the store for the third time and AFTER I wrote a negative review. If you spent this much time and effort assisting customers while they are in the store, and not on YELP, then maybe you wouldn't have received my review. How is you standing there making up more rules about the Groupon satisfying my requests? What about the part where you and your Dad told me I had to come back later when the female associate was back because you couldn't issue a refund? You're the freaking owner. Do you just not know how to use the register? You couldn't show me where on the Groupon it stated that the value could only be used towards a single item because it WASN'T WRITTEN ON THE FINE PRINT. i called this place and asked for a certain shades with the item number, etc. they told me they had it, so i bought a deal from groupon. then i went in and they actually remembered me calling and asking for the specific item. although they remembered me, i found out they did not have that item. they told me to order it and i did. they charged me shipping which was $40. i could have bought this with the same price without all the hassle on Amazon. for the staff, please make sure you have the item in stock when you say that you do. read more

Cheap quality and a high price plus really bad customer service

I've been to this store twice to buy eyewear. It's a quirky place with a fantastic selection. I purchased one set of glasses - which for various reasons was going to be difficult with my progressive perscription. They did a fantastic job - and put a coating on - I've had no damage - unlike some high end shops I go to. Like anyplace know their policys before you buy. I'm going back today - needed the phone number - found it on this site...and wanted to say there's another side to this place. read more

BEWARE -- SUPERVISION IS SHADY! I went to Supervision a few months ago. Their selection is actually very good. I bought a pair of frames and lenses, but explained that I wasnt sure if my insurance covered purchases from this merchant. We decided to ring up the purchase, and I would get back to them as soon as I found out the info from my insurance. If covered, I would go back and bring my presciption. I left the store (no product in hand) and called H. Silani (the store owner) about an hour later to tell him that I need to cancel the order since they are not in my insurance network coverage. He began to yell at me and said there are no exchanges, no returns (although this policy was never explained to me, nor was there any signage in the store suggesting this). When I looked at my receipt I noticed in very small print at the bottom of the receipt it states no returns, no exchanges. When I tried to reason with H. Silani he, again, became irate and irrational. Ive disputed this with my credit card company but I will probably not prevail due to the fact that this policy is stated, regardless of size, on the receipt. Im not sure what drives this unsavory business practice but my hope is to share this story with as many people as possible to avoid the grief I have experienced. read more
