He was finishing with another client, and was able to ask if I was looking for anything within the next minute. I described the size & style of what I was looking for, and in less than 5 minutes we had 3 great pairs for me to try on. I was pretty sure I had found my choice within the first round of frames. But just to be sure, Boris took the time to have me try on another 4 frames which were all great suggestions. If money was unlimited I would've left with 3 pairs. Once I was settled on my choice, we sat down to clarify the lens details. Boris wasn't pushy at all, was informative, and completely transparent with the pricing breakdown. Making the process very easy. I came here because of the frame selection. It was a pleasant surprise to have somebody as passionate about their job, as Boris - as his energy was something rare. I scheduled and paid for a contact lens exam, expecting the exam to be performed before being fitted for contact lenses. Instead, I was immediately taken into a room and given trial contact lenses based solely on my eyeglasses prescription. When I asked whether an exam would be performed first, I was told it was not necessary because my glasses prescription would be used. After trying approximately five different pairs of contacts, I repeatedly explained that I still could not see clearly. I was eventually sent home with a pair and told that my eyes would "adjust" throughout the day. While speaking with the front desk, I politely asked questions about the contact lens process because my previous experiences at other offices had always included an exam before fitting contacts. The owner overheard the conversation and came out appearing visibly upset. She then offered to perform the exam, saying, "We have time now," but only after hearing me question the process. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and no longer confident in the care I was receiving. As a paying customer, I believe I have every right to ask questions and understand the services I am receiving. No patient should feel intimidated for seeking clarification about their care. After leaving, my eyes became extremely itchy and very red. When I checked one of the contact lens samples I had been given, I discovered it had expired in January 2025--approximately 17 months ago. I contacted the office to request a refund and asked that my vision insurance not be billed. Unfortunately, I later learned that the person involved was the owner, so there was no higher management to address my concerns. The entire experience left me upset and in tears. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience and would encourage others to ask questions and carefully review any contact lenses they are given before wearing them.

I've had horrible vision since I was 10 years old, so it is safe to say I have had my fair share of experiences with many opticians. With that said, Super Vision Optical is BY FAR the best experience I've had for nearly 20 years of doctor visits!!! The Silani family has outstanding products, service and knowledge that will meet everyone's needs. I feel like family when I walk into the store During my first experience, I walked into the store without an appointment and was immediately seen by Dr. Silani for a comprehensive eye exam. He greeted me with a huge smile and asked me if I'd like some tea. I've never received such cordial service from any kind of doctor in my life! Also, I've suffered with extremely dry eyes for years and never been properly guided as to which eye drops are best for my condition. Their store, of course, had many options in drops to choose from I didn't know where to start. Kamran was very sweet and gave me a few samples so I could try them out and come back to purchase what I thought worked best for me. Typically when I am ignorant of a topic, I am use to people taking advantage of that ignorance. Instead of pushing the most expensive products on me, Kamran showed his genuine caring side to make sure I was taken care of. Super Vision is more personal and down to earth than your typical optical store. Not only do they offer a vast array of products, from contacts, to frames and sunglasses, their service is IMPECCABLE!!!!! The Silani family is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to every aspect of your eye care needs and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this family run business. Best of all, Super Vision has everything you need at hand! Their selection reaches far beyond your expectations, in addition to their website. This allows you to leave the store with exactly what you came for. I highly recommend and trust Super Vision to meet your needs and expectations. I tend to think of myself as a discerning customer. Perhaps for that reason, I tend to find myself disappointed by most glasses shops--they are either impersonal (just out for the sale), overly upscale (with outrageous prices to fit the decor), or simply dull (the average optical retail store). Super Vision Optical, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh air. They have both an extraordinary selection and extraordinary owners who really care about what their customers look like when they walk out the door. To top it off, somehow personal service comes at better prices than I've ever been able to find elsewhere. I first stumbled onto Super Vision Optical because they were the only shop I could find in LA which had a hard-to-get set of sports (cycling) frames in-stock (a testament to their selection). That was 2006. Since then, I haven't bought glasses anywhere else. My father, my wife, and a bunch of my friends have become customers since--all satisfied. There is something really nice about walking into a store and being treated like a client, not just a sale. The whole family is in the business--Kam runs the store, but his siblings are also there frequently. If you're very lucky, Kam's father will bring you a cup of delicious tea while you try on a handpicked selection of the hundreds (thousands?) of frames they have in stock. And his father can fit glasses to a face like no one else on the planet. If you're looking for glasses of any kind (prescription glasses, sports glasses, performance glasses, etc.), I suggest stopping in... ask Kam (there every day other than Monday) what he thinks you should try. 30 minutes of trial-and-error later, I guarantee you will have found glasses that look great. And it will be fun too. I cannot say enough good things about the store. Since my first visit in 2006, I've moved four times--to Toronto, London, South Africa, and Boston. But I still go to see Kam in LA for my glasses. read more

Ive been doing business with this Super Vision since 2005 when i lived in Beverly Hills. Now 7 years later im still doing business even though i live in Nevada. I wear persciptions and have a big face so finding glasses that fit, look great and hold up under heavy party conditions is a huge challenge! Kam is my guy he will drop what he's doing to pick up the phone if i have a repair or need a pair of glasses for a trip or for a last minute gift. He goes above and beyond ever time for my needs! My favorite experience is going to the store and trying on every style of glasses that fit my very picky taste he will set aside 10 pairs and then rank them with me. Ill pick a couple of pairs and he will write down the model numbers of each of the top 5 for future referrence if i need a new pair or he gets in new models that are like the ones that work for me. One day this took hours he sent his brother to the cafe next door to pick up lunch for us!! That is amazing service. I will never buy glasses any place else ive held off on eye surgery because i love the compliments i get on my OGA scandinavian one of a kind eyewear well almost one of a kind lol! Being on holidays in LA from Sydney, my friend and I needed to be checked and fitted within the day - a near impossible feat in this day and age - not at Supervision Optical. Kam expedited our urgent requirement within the matter of hours with amazingly friendly service and professionalism. Our experiences with optometrists in Sydney have been sub-par with most offering a limited selection of frames and requiring bookings to get checked and fitted - a process which can take up to weeks. After having such bad experiences in Sydney, Kam, Kambiz, Ashley and all at Supervision were a breath of fresh air and have set the benchmark in standards of customer service and quality with their efficiency, helpfulness and warm, welcoming manner - not to mention their enviable selection of stock which they are more than happy for you to shamelessly try on, without any pressure to purchase. We would, without hesitation, recommend Supervision to anyone in need of glasses, sunglasses, contacts or even just a casual conversation about football with a serving of lovely tea from Papa Silani. Wow! This place has the MOST extensive inventory of every kind and type of frames i've ever seen in one store! The staff (especially a guy named "Kam") was VERY plesant, helpful and NOT pushy at all. The prices were great (every frame i looked at i had already priced elsewhere, and this place had them all for less). Seriously, i won't need or want to go anywhere else in LA to get sun or perscription frames again, yay! So, i ended up buying some great new sunglasses, at a killer discount and then as an added bonus, as i was walking out, they were having some pizza delivered from the place nextdoor, and when i commented on how good it smelled, the friendly guy Kam opened the box and handed me a slice... (of HIS lunch! try to get THAT kind of friendly service and coolness at other stores in LA... good luck with that! I'm very selective when it comes to my eyewear and was very specific as to what I wanted in a pair of frames to fill my RX with. I looked up Super Vision and saw nothing but great reviews and decided to pay their office a visit after I learned they had the Tom Ford frames I was looking for. Once I arrived at their location I was very impressed with the huge selection/inventory of trendy frames carried at this establishment. Ashley assisted me with my needs and was very customer friendly. After speaking with her and the Optometrist I selected my new Tom Ford frames on a Thursday and had them the following Tuesday. Very quick turn around which what I like. I would recommend Super Vision to anyone and everyone who is in the market looking for eyewear. Usually get pizza from the joint next door, but needed some glasses and before checking out LensCrafters, i noticed this place next door and decided to stop by. Selection? AMAZING. they must have every single frame known to man, from major name brands like Gucci and Cartier to generic ones that still seemed legit. nice sunglasses, too. Got my pair at less than what I would've paid at LC (even with the special 50% off lenses they got going on and the 30% AAA discount) and it was done in about an hour. For 10 years i was a customer at LC and didn't know what i was missing. This store looks like it might be out of your reach (it's in the heart of Beverly Hills), but prices are more than reasonable and service is great also. They even have wide frames for bigheads like me :) Before you go anywhere else, just check them out, TRUST me. I cant imagine buying my glasses from anywhere but Supervision. read more

I spend a lot of time in LA and on my last trip I manage to forget my contact lenses. So, I popped down to Super Optical to have a check up and buy some lenses. I was so impressed with the selection of glasses that I also treated myself to a new pair! Kam was very helpful and friendly and we had a good chat about LA etc being a tourist. He happened to mention that he had a few friends who studied in the UK and that he used to send them glasses etc as it is so much cheaper in the US than in London. Therefore, when it came it getting a new pair of glasses this month I decided to email him and see if he could help me out. With a few days he had made up my glasses and billed me and dispatched them. They arrived safely and in good condition about a week later. Nowadays, most eyewear stores are the same. It's all about profits. Companies no longer pride themselves on service. But Supervision Optical is an exception. The friendly staff is unparallel. The manager and employees know how to make you feel welcomed and are extremely helpful. Also, I have to say that their selection is unlike any other eyewear store that I have been to before. They must have thousands of frames in stock, ranging from Rx glasses to sport sunglasses (sometimes, the selection is a bit overwhelming). But it's the one-stop shop for all of my eyecare needs. Super Vision is a family run business with a great selection of eyewear, latest trends, hottest brands and are great to work with. They staff is super nice, easy going and very focused on building and retaining their clientele. I was also shopping for eyeglasses. Their selection was limited, which is fine, but they did not have the sizes or styles I was looking for. The sales process felt very pushy. After deciding to purchase frames elsewhere, I was told I was good to go, but I was not provided with a signed copy of my prescription. I called and requested that it be emailed to me. They said they would send it, but I never received it. I eventually had to stop by the office to pick up a copy in person. The copy they provided was still unsigned. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. I would recommend going somewhere else.

They have a fantastic warranty on the lenses for up to two years. Really can't say enough good things about the team there, they go out of their way to accommodate. Great business!
