I am so unobservant! How did I not know that this splendid place has been open in my neighborhood for over 2 years?!?! Just lovely inside and out. My group of friends and I had a really nice time trying their great selection of brews and I even took home a bottle of Saison for later on. They have outdoor seating that I am looking forward to relaxing on for many days after work this summer. The bartendress was knowledgeable and super friendly. We'll definitely be back now that I know this hidden gem is nearby.

Highlights 1) Cool Ambiance 2) Outside Seating 3) Friendly Staff Stopped in to Supermoon this past weekend. Wow! What a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The ambiance of Supermoon is homey but also trendy. Love that they are leaning into the old house/BayView vibe. A few board games are available inside which is always an added bonus! They have a platform set up in the road (sectioned off) with picnic tables so room for about 3 tables of 6 outside which is great. Staff is super friendly and nice! You can tell they just like to be there. When we were there they were doing a pop up with local restaurant, Braise. I've seen other fun events listed on Instagram so I feel like Supermoon is really trying to be a part of the community. Fantastic! My only recommendation to the business is to add at least one gluten-free alcoholic option. Current GF options are all NA - La Croix and Spindrift (flavored sparkling water) and. House made kombucha. All delicious but all NA! Can't wait to be back!

This place is great for farmhouse ales in fancy glasses - it was the third stop on our Milwaukee beer crawl so admittedly I do not recall which beers I sampled, but they were both delicious and my family members each enjoyed their choices as well. This small brewery is cozy and inviting, like hanging out at your friend's house. There is a nice outdoor area with tables as well when the weather cooperates. There was one bartender who was doing an excellent job keeping up with the steady stream of visitors while we were there - check it out!

Another local gem checked off our brewery bucket list! Made it here the other day with the pup. Clean and modern inside, with a great little parklet patio. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside. Dogs are allowed inside too since there is no food service, making it a great spot for us year round. The bartender was super helpful with beer suggestions, it being our first time there. She also brought out a bowl of water for Huey, which is always thoughtful. The beers are unique and varied, and we look forward to coming back to try more!

Supermoon is one of our new favorite Milwaukee breweries! Their beers are all fantastic and expertly crafted, focusing on different types of fermentation and barrel aging to produce unique beers you won't find anywhere else. Some of our favorites have included a fruit beer with Door County cherries, been aged in French wine barrels, or a seasonal wet-hopped farmhouse style saison. Supermoon is definitely a hidden gem in their cozy Bay View taproom. There is currently indoor and outdoor seating available. The brewery is open on release weekends - definitely follow them on Instagram for their most up to date information and to find out about new releases! We are looking forward to seeing Supermoon grow and we are very grateful to have them as part of the neighborhood!

Supermoon Beer Company in Bayview has been putting out great bottled beer to order for about a year, and their focus is mixed fermentation, farmhouse-style beer, such as the Deux Ex Forager with Door County Montmorency cherries, or the refreshing Wettenhop. Many of their beers are aged in French Oak wine barrels, and you gotta love a place that explores their craft off the beaten craft beer path, such as funky Farmhouse Saisons. Follow them on Instagram for the latest release news, I picked up an order of beer this past fall, and the owner said they were close to getting approval to build out their taproom in their homey 1902 building. Can't wait for their taproom to open- support Supermoon!

Lovely Bay View spot with a unique selection of beers! I'm a fan of this spot's funky lineup of beers (think fermented ales, saisons, etc.). Everything is unique on the menu and thus far I've been impressed with everything I've tried. Service is super friendly and the space feels very communal. They do lots of pop up events which is fun too!

There was a polka band and they guys walked around singing to all the tables before their set started. Super cool. They have a small kitchen. I was disappointed to learn that they don't make their special flavored cheese curds on Fridays, but the regular ones were just fine and enough for our table to share. There's a little deck in the back that overlooks the Milwaukee River that we were able to enjoy on a beautiful, unseasonably warm day. Overall a nice time here. One kind of weird thing that happened here, which I only mention because it didn't seem like our tour guide was able to handle it in the moment, and they definitely need a system in place to handle guests that are making the rest of the group uncomfortable. There was a guy who kept turning around and staring at people, fidgeting in a way that I recognized as agitation, and kind of pacing. All the parents who had kids in the group realized there was a problem and even though we didn't know each other, kind of formed a line in front of the kids. I'm sure it was a one-off, but there has to be a way to deal with guests like that. Also a little weird that kids over the age of 12 have to pay for the tour, but each of their soda drinks took two tokens, while the adults only used one for beers.

But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. We've had their beer before and have always like them. It was great getting some more on draft. Agro pop IPA Yummy!! Panther pale ale OK, but not my fave. I wouldn't get it again. Cheese curds $14 These were delicious, but it did get salty after munching through the plate. We were limiting ourselves to just one drink, and needed more drinks or another food item to mediate our tastebuds. I'd order again with a proper meal or with more booze. Service was super nice, though not quite polished, which I don't mind at all. Points for a nice smilze!

My chicken pesto melt was super flavorful and felt light since the chicken was grilled and the focaccia bun was nice and soft. Fries were average bar fries. David's chicken sandwich was huge! Representing 2021 in alphabet series, I is for Indeed Brewing. In September 2021, my friend & I…read morewere on vacation in Chicago & Milwaukee. On that Friday, we drove up from Chicago, checked into hotel, & went to the Brewers game. The next day I was trying to find out Millers brew tours (even though I don't like their beer, but it's an iconic large American brand), but they didn't do the tours anymore. I think they may have stopped them when Covid happened, never brought them back or at least at that point. I was searching online & calling around as I thought it'd be cool to do some brewing tour, and places said no. Finally, Indeed Brewing said come on down, we will give you a tour. Speaking of I is for Indeed, I was at I for an Industrial museum, well various art about people at work called Grohmann Museum, and I had dropped my friend off at the Science Museum. I called him and said I found a brew tour. We both enthusiastically went over to Indeed. The owner gave us a tour of the various. He told us to wait as he was busy, pretty busy on that Saturday afternoon, go get yourself a beer. Wow, great beer! The tour was informative. My friend got a 2nd beer. I'm a bit slower of a drinker. After his 2nd beer, he was buzzed and said I know it's going to sound crazy and that I would probably say no, but wanna go to the Brewers game again? I'd say the baseball game again was the beer talking, but he loves baseball, so I'm sure he would've said that anyway. I said Brewers were my favorite between going to White Sox on Wednesday, Cubs on Thursday, & Brewers on Friday, but I don't wanna go to baseball game for the 4th night in a row, and there was more I wanted to explore in Milwaukee. We were going to be leaving the next morning to take a side trip to Madison and then leave from O'Hare later in the afternoon. Incidentally, while I enjoyed Milwaukee on my own that night, I missed a great game as Brewers pitcher Adrian Houser threw a complete game-shutout! No way of knowing. And the night before Cardinals slaughtered Brewers 15-4. So, I went to the wrong game, but I had a lot of fun. In summary, Indeed Brewing was a great memory of the tour, great beer, nice owner, & nice crew. If I'm ever in Milwaukee again, I'd revisit Indeed.
