Predatory towing is despicable and unethical. Superior Towing charges excessive fees, uses verbal intimidation and posts misinformation on their website. Our car was towed at 10pm on a weekday from a private apartment building lot located 12 minutes away from the Superior Towing yard. They used a front wheel loader (FWL) to hook up our small car. They charged us for a total of 90 minutes of towing "work". Even being generous and allowing for a 15 minute FWL hookup and 20 minute tow back to the yard there is no way that the tow process could take 90 minutes. read more

Awesome experience with Superior Towing last night! OnStar could not find me a contracted tow after sitting on the freeway for 30 minutes in dark and pouring rain at 8pm. I started calling around on my own and nobody would call back. I finally called Superior Tow and Steve was at my car in 15 minutes! Steve was very quick getting my car on the truck and it was a very pleasant ride with him for my daughter and I to the car dealership in the tow truck. The dealership was closed when we arrived so Steve told us to stay dry and warm in the truck while he unhooked my car and brought me the after-hours paperwork for my car, waited for me to fill it out and then took it to the night drop for me. She'd used them in the past and said she trusted them fully and were affordable. They were there fast and were very friendly. life got ahead of me and I forgot to write a followup for the Superior Towing. JR did call me the following day after he saw my review on 5/7/2014. He called half a dozen times to my office and on my cell during a 3-5 hour period. I had an appointment with a client that took a long time but JR felt I was ignoring him. After his half a dozen calls, even to my manager, I felt that he was rudely intruding on my business time. He could have waited until I was back in the office and called him back when I had some time to really speak with him. On the phone, he stated that he didn't feel he was rude (that's an opinion) but he did say he had a long day the day before and with the clients he deals with, he could have sounded that way. He also said he apologized for their mistake (for losing my customers car in their tow yard), which he never did and I wasn't excepting an apology since it wasn't me he needed to apologize to. The poor customer was the one that was in a panic. when I asked what exactly he wanted from me (since he called SO many times), he asked that I take the bad review down. I told him I'd think about it. then today, I'm told JR went on my company yelp page and wrote a bad review about me. "Do not do business with this agency. Jina Kim is the type of agent that blames everyone else for her mistakes. John the manager has no control over his employees and has no ability to follow through with his commitments. They lost track of a customers claim and then tried to blame the towing company for their mistake. Stay away from these agents they will mess up and shift the blame on to others." First of all, how is it MY fault that Superior Towing lost my customers vehicle in their own tow yard. And non of the staff tried to see if they made a mistake UNTIL I called and asked to backtrack to see where the car could have gone. I think the review wrote for me should really be for you and your staff. Don't blame me for your mistake. Secondly, my manager gave me the message JR called and I did plan on calling back, if only you didn't call my office every few minutes! Plus, my customers come first to me. Their phone calls are more important. I take care of my customers and their vehicles, something Superior Towing did not do. Great service, clean truck, charges fairly but bad suggestions to A&M Auto Repair. The driver John will sweet talk you into bringing the car to one of their shop owned by the same owner and the price is highly competitive. He will also promise you a lot of other things including loaner car but nothing cashes out. I had the misfortune of breaking down on my way to work last week, and had an immobile car in the middle of Bellevue. NOT a good day. However, I was able to get a hold of the friendly receptionist at Superior Towing who sent someone to help me right away. The guy that arrived to rescue me was professional, friendly and set me at ease. In short order, my car was loaded up with great care not to scratch or damage it, and we were delivered to a nearby repair shop. Superior towing is the real deal. I called them at 7 a.m., Crystal was to my house by 7:30, and what I thought was just a dead battery due to door being left open was actually a bigger problem. She got the car started, but also waited and did more checks to make sure the battery was recharging, which it was not. Please think twice before contacting this company, they are unethical, wholly unreliable, and just plain rude. Especially JP, who proud identified himself as the establishment's "manager". My son scheduled a towing of his motorcycle to a mechanic at 9:15 AM this morning. He had to take two city buses to get to the bike by that time, and then needed to be to work by 10 AM. After the tow truck was 10 minutes late, he contacted superior towing to inquire on an ETA. He was told the driver who operates the flatbed for motorcycles was on another call for the police which apparently takes precedence. (Thanks for not clarifying that earlier JP.) The operator was very rude and told my son it would be another 20 minutes before the driver was heading our way. Half an hour later, my son called back again to inquire on an ETA as he was now late for work and still waiting. He was again assured that the driver was "on his way". Finally after waiting over an hour with his bike, he called back and this time was given to JP. It's astonishing any owner would put this person in charge of their business. What a pompous buffoon. He contradicted the operators prior statements several times about why the truck hadn't yet arrived, but of course assured us the driver was "on his way". On his way from Factoria to South Bellevue and had already taken 25 minutes?? I don't think so. At this point I told my son he should try a couple other towing companies, just in case this driver continued to be delayed. My son accidentally called right back to superior towing, and unbeknownst to him, he got JP again. JP immediately said, "Well it looks like you're calling around to other companies so I'll go ahead and cancel this call." What a big man to pull this on a 22-year-old young adult who had entrusted his business and his valuable time to superior towing. Not to worry, we called a competitor who showed up shortly thereafter, who didn't need my son to be present at the pick up, and my son was able to get off to work, albeit 40 minutes late. Today I was involved in an accident. The police called Superior towing. JP Rajao came almost immediately, and helped me with all the details one has to do after a collision. He got us to a safe place; helped me get my twelve year old calmed down; gave us all the information we needed and offered to assist us any way he could. Later I called him for a referral to a repair garage and he was very helpful giving me information on several in the area. I had a very good experience yesterday with superior towing. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected car breakdown late in the afternoon. I had a little bit of a wait for the tow truck, but ultimately it arrived, my car was loaded and transported to the shop. The dispatcher was very honest in telling me that if I rode with my car and they could charge by the mile it would be cheaper than if I let the tow truck driver take it on its own and they had to charge me some sort of flat rate. My Prius died on I-90 on a weekday afternoon (right in the middle of rush hour on 405), luckily I managed to roll into Mercer Island. The receptionist was courteous and helpful, if a little wary (no doubt the nature of the job), and had a flatbed tow truck out to me in under 30 minutes. Steve (the driver) did his best to jumpstart the Prius using a special battery kit, and after determining it was futile proceeded to load my car and drive it to the dealer. I had ordered a gazebo that was trucked from Pennsylvania. The palette had to be transferred onto a flatbed in order to bring it to my house. Early on the morning it was to be delivered, I received a call from Superior Towing that they had been notified that morning thisneeded to be done. They had no prior notification. Home safe after my Volt got a nasty flat too severe for the inflater to work (no room for a spare with all the batteries taking up space.). I highly recommend Superior Tow of Bellevue. Brett was a competent, knowledgeable, and very nice guy who arrived quickly, got our car to the dealer, and us to home with speed and good cheer. We talked fast cars most of the way home, he helped us load and unload our stuff and our kiddo, and his extended cab was a reasonably comfortable fit for two adults and a carseat in the back. I have used Superior two times in the past 6 months. The first time, they were recommended to me by a State Patrol when my son wrecked his car, and they arrived right away. The second time, I requested that my insurance use Superior instead of their normal towing company. They gave me an ETA for there arrival and were 22 minutes early. Absolutely amazing service! My car suddenly died in Bellevue and I was dreading having to tow it to my dealership in Seattle. When the call was made to Superior Towing the ETA was an hour because of the rush hour traffic. JR arrived in under 30 minutes. This guy was fantastic! I admit to being the stereotypical woman who knows nothing about her car under the hood. :( JR was patient with me and answered all of my questions. He diagnosed my car as having an old batter and suggested that I have it replaced. He gave me a jump and sent me on my way. The nominal fee was more than fair for his time. Not a great experience with Superior Towing. Unfortunately i got a vehicle on Offer Up through a trade and the previous owner argued with me about the vehicle not having plates on it because he didnt feel comfortable with me driving the vehicle with the plates still in his name. I said i dont feel comfortable driving this car without a plate period. So finally he agreed went inside grabbed a plate and put it on. Well guess what come to find out later the plate he put on did not belong to the vehicle so i got cited for possession of stolen property and my vehicle which unfortunately for a short time was my home impounded. I didnt have enough money or time to change the title into my name yet. Ive made over several attempts to reach the previous owner with no success. Im a homeless veteran and most of my belongings are still in the vehicle and Superior towing wont allow me access to my stuff which is everything i own. read more
