Let me start off by saying that I've never had to get my car towed so I'm pretty new to this. That being considered, I was super nervous when I had to reach out and get some towing help. Luckily, their customer service was lovely and made me feel at ease! As a college student, I truly appreciate the affordable rates that Rapid Discount Towing offers!! I only had to wait a little less than 20 minutes for them to arrive and they quickly helped me out. Their employees made the experience much less stressful for me which I greatly appreciate. This is the first time I've had to use a towing company and overall, my experience was excellent. Short wait time, great rates, and outstanding customer service. I would recommend Rapid Discount Towing to anyone who needs a tow! I will definitely be using their services again! read more

These two guys show up practically to the minute of the 20 minute time they gave on the phone. Instead of trying to sell me a toy they jumped my Nissan and advised me I need to get an interstate or Bosch battery as mine is made in Saudi Arabia. I've done a report on Saudi exports they produce... camel husbandry, falconry and cotton. So needless to say I won't be buying a battery from Walmart again. Friendly, fast and one dude had sweet tats along both sleeves. Great experience. read more

These guys are so great!!! I called up i the morning to arrange a pick up and delivery to a local garage and then I was running late and they sat down the street till I got home and they took over and did everything... They apologized for a miss quote...It was even lower then the first quote ... They are so professional and so nice I would recommend them to everyone. These are the people you want when things go wrong with your car!!. read more

Charles saved the day for my son and I, today! Car overheated, limped off 405 and he came to ferry the car home..So quick, thorough and just a delightful man! I give 5 stars for our experience! read more

I called to schedule a tow for the following day. On the day of, no show. I get a text 29 minutes after the scheduled pickup that they were running behind but I wasn't watching my phone because I was waiting for my tow truck to show up. At 9:40am, they text again wanting to confirm the appointment. Because I didn't respond, they never showed. After leaving where the car was (waiting for them), I finally see their texts and calls to me. I'm sorry I didn't see the calls and texts but being late is one thing. Expecting the client to respond otherwise no-showing is acceptable is ridiculous. Nobody told me I would need to respond to a message FORTY MINUTES after the scheduled pickup to confirm they still even want the tow for them to show up. Terrible service. If you're late, show up late and deliver. read more

I was driving home from a client meeting and stopped for gas when lo and behold my car wouldn't start. I called AAA who had a 4+ hour wait which just wouldn't work, as I was blocking a gas pump, but these guys were able to help within 30 minutes! When the driver showed up he was able to quickly load by car, tow it to my mechanic, and give me a ride home. He turned a very bad day around. Next time, I'll call them straight away! read more

This was our first time using a towing service in the Seattle area. Our Ford Ranger truck suffered from a flat tire during the week, so we had to wait until the weekend to call. We called early on Saturday at about 9:30AM, and was greeted with great service and a short wait time(about 30-45 minutes after our call ended) . They had a few general questions about the car, location of where the vehicle was and where it needed to go, took a diagnosis of the situation and offered the most efficient and cost effective towing service for our dilemma. **We had Charles help us with our towing, and I HIGHLY recommend him if you are in need of towing or roadside assistance from 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing. Charles was friendly, efficient, and overall knowledgeable in his profession. We were able to get our car off the road in less than 10 minutes, and we were also thankful that he also provided some sound advice for our car and our services that we were getting to fix our flat. On a last note, prices were affordable and reasonable for the quality of service that we had received. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient roadside service, I recommend this place. read more

I've never had to get my car towed before so I was nervous to call a few companies! 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing responded quickly, had genuine customer service, & affordable rates! I'm a college student so getting my car towed didn't seem cheap to me at all... They made the whole process easier for me, definitely call them if you need road side assistance read more

I wish i had extra stars i could give to this towing company after the great service I received EARLY this morning. My little Honda civic finally quit on me. It has been an ongoing problem that i just haven't had the time to fix. I live a pretty busy and crazy life so don't always have time to leave reviews. It is never easy to give up your car for a week while its in the repair shop. I called 3-4 different Seattle towing services while going down the list on Yelp. Lucky for me discount towing answered first. Todd arrived within the 30 minute window i was given on the phone. When you are in a situation where you are not sure what you are supposed to do, it is nice to have someone that's friendly and willing to do more then just pick up you car and move it somewhere else. As for the price, I didn't have to pay any drop fees or fancy hook up fees which was nice. They just gave me a flat price over the phone of $75. Seattle traffic is hectic most mornings, so i feel this was more then fair. read more

Charles with Universal was a LIFE SAVER! To top it off, he was FAST, got to my car within 30 minutes of calling...and had it on the flat bed, off and running to my shop 25 miles away. I thought for sure I'd be spending a TON of money to get it towed all the way to my mechanic, but he gave me the BEST price I've EVER paid for towing up front...one flat rate! Super simple payment upon delivery of the vehicle and never mind all of that, Charles is a GREAT guy, friendly, funny, and really made the best of a tough situation for me. We love our classic Land Rover, but we've found out that a good towing service is essential to have on standby. We are definitely happy customers! read more

Situation: My Prius started behaving badly, low power, warnings, etc., decided not to limp it all the way to the dealer for service. (Wallingford to Seattle Toyota south of the Stadiums) Called and was told a truck would come in two hours or less, which worked ok for me. Was given a text to send the pickup address to, and told that I'd hear by text when the truck was close to arrival. I asked for a name: Charles. Results: Waited exactly two hours and was composing a text to ask what was up, when my phone buzzed with "your truck is almost there." Ok, good enough. What happened next: Very friendly, competent, driver who worked quickly when he showed up, quickly charged the phone-quoted flat fee of $175 by credit card to his phone app. (I think this was Charles who showed up, and his name comes up a LOT on these reviews, drives a flatbed white truck labelled Universal Towing) Surprisingly soon I had a text that the car was delivered to Toyota. A few minutes later I had a call from the Toyota dealership (who originally said they wouldn't start in on it until the next day) that they were setting it up for diagnosis. Great overall result. Cons: It's somehow disorienting to be reviewing a business called "24/7 Rapid Discount Towing Seattle" and never have any other mention of that business name come up when doing business. The phone was answered with some other name that I forget. I asked if this was Rapid Discount towing and the voice said ".... uh....... yeah." The truck was labelled "Universal", and the driver used an app that never showed a business name. Maybe this is the modern way: "who cares who you're doing business with as long as it works?", but I like a solid identity that makes some kind of sense in my brain. Call me old-fashioned? read more

Ideally I'd like to never need a tow truck again, but if I do I hope that I happen to be in Seattle or on the Eastside so I can call these guys again. Their dispatcher was courteous and professional and gave spot-on ETA for the truck. When it arrived, the driver was immensely kind and helpful - introduced himself straight away, told me just what he needed to load the car, and then allowed me to wait in the dry, warm truck cab. It's kind of scary being on the shoulder of a six-lane interstate highway with a disabled vehicle, but the driver was such a pro I had complete confidence in his capability. He works in a very efficient and safe manner. When driving me home, he knew just the right balance to strike of pleasant chatting, and quiet time (which I really appreciated because my mind was just spinning after the ordeal of my car's engine dying.) Tow drivers can tend to be a shady bunch, in general, so these folks are really a gem to find. Would highly recommend them to anyone - I don't even know how their rates compare to other companies, they seemed pretty competitive to me - but I wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere. The peace of mind in this situation is worth every penny and more. Sidenote: the driver who helped me was named Charles and his business card read Universal Towing Company, LLC. He also offers lockout service, which I was glad to know for future reference as well. read more

My car broke down yesterday on the way to work. Worst. Monday. Ever. Until I called rapid towing and they quickly came to the rescue. So glad I made the decision to call them. Can't overstate how satisfied I am with my experience here! Called three other tow companies and none of the drivers would have been able to make it before my car would be impounded due to parking regulations. Rad towing saved my car and my wallet!! I've never felt so compelled to write a review! I needed to have my car towed quite a ways away, so I called around for a few estimates. 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing was the first company I called. I spoke to Charles, and he was very friendly and helpful. Then I called a few other places, but the customer service was horrible. One person was actually talking to someone else at the same time they were talking to me! I chose 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing and was so happy with their quick and pleasant service! read more

Cannot recommend this service enough, for all the reasons listed in other reviews but also because I have never felt so respected and pleasantly surprised with a car service experience as a queer woman. 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing Seattle - Roadside Assistance Near Me - Seattle, Washington

If I could give 500000000 stars I would. My work van blew its tires on I5, had to drive about a half a mile to a "safe" space to stop, I was super upset and of course were in Seattle so hazard lights are actually a "hey nothings wrong over here I'm just driving slow to piss you off" signal, so I was a bit frazzled. I was stopped on the freeway between moving lanes and an on ramp, not an ideal situation. These guys came up first in a google search and Charles came to save me!!!!!!!!! He was there in an hour as promised (other companies were between 2-4 hour waits), got me to Bellevue Ford from Seattle quickly and safely, moved my van into a spot for me, showed me where I should check in for service, and even had to jump my van once we had arrived. He is an amazing human and I will never use any other tow company ever. Even the conversation in the truck was great! Really down to earth guy with great company values. I've already advised my drivers to give him a ring if they ever have an issue. If you're in Seattle or on the east side CALL THEM!! Customer for life! read more

The name says it all: fast, reliable and affordable. When the alternator in my VW Golf decided to go out randomly (while parked illegally of course) I called a few different after-hours tow truck companies all of which told me it could easily be "several hours" and that I'd have to just sit there in the freezing cold and wait until one was available, for the price of an arm & a leg. Thankfully I found 24/7 Rapid Discount Towing who not only quoted me the best price with the shortest wait time, but also agreed to call when the truck was 5-10 minutes away so I could stay warm inside a friend's house a block away. The whole experience was personable, professional and extremely easy. Save yourself time and just call them first! read more

Vry pleased with the help I received this morning, at a fair price. The few wrinkles in the process were more than overcome by the excellent help I received from Charles, the owner. Here's my background (skip to next paragraph if you just want comments on the company). After not driving it for a few days, my prius battery died so severely that it wouldn't take a jump. Unknown to me, this is a more complicated issue than in the non-hybrid cars I've driven before, where I can easily replacing a battery myself. Costco and other local vendors don't sell the specialty battery the Prius needs, and it's located in an obscure, hard-to-reach place in the back under the luggage compartment. Seemed like my options were towing it to a Toyota dealership for a pricey tow, battery, and install/labor fee--easily running $4-500 and eating up half a day before it was done--or ordering online and having someone help me install it propertly. So I ordered a highly-rated Optimus battery from Amazon for $147 (took a full eight days to get here from the east coast.) It finally showed up late last night. Time to find a service provider to help--and ideally, one capable of towing my car in the unlikely event it was more than just a dead battery 24/7 seemed perfect. Great reviews here, a 24/7 service window, a Seattle location, and a description which included "changing battery"/ So I called at 6am this morning, hoping to schedule a service ASAP. No answer--and forwarded to a voicemail with a generic message. Hmm...did I dial correctly? Yep, but no return call. So I tried again at 7am, same result, another message left. Then again at 8am. This time Charles picked up. He politely explained that they'd been swamped that morning and had missed some calls. (Understandble--only it would be better if a voicemail message at least explained that calls would be returned when they could get to them, so that the caller doesn't just give up ) He then explained that he didn't really do battery swaps. When I explained that his yelp web site description was pitching this by the company, he agreed to try to come help me out during his next available slot at 10 am, and charge me a reasonable $85 + tax for the stop (assuming it wasn't complicated than we thought). True to his word, he phoned shortly before ten that he was here. He then did battle with the crazy Prius layout with me. While not especially familiar with the prius's odd battery layout, Charles dove in with a good atttiude, and got it done. Bottom line: while his supporting infrastructure (e.g. voicemail, call return policy, and web description) could use a little polish, he is a can-do professional who was willing to step outside his comfort zone to get the job done. In my book, that easily warrants five stars--especially in the service/towing business, which is rife with customer unfriendly behavior. I'd happily call him again! read more

Sometimes you have everything you need in life, and then you lock it all in your car by accident. :( This was the case for me a few times throughout college and this particular time I went with these guys I didn't even have my insurance card for assistance (locked in the car as well). Feeling helpless and stranded I was immediately drawn to them because of their name. They sure lived up to it and I was baffled at how easy the process turned out to be once I callee. Usually my dealings with towing companies are expensive and drawn out but these guys show up fast and are very effective with their services. read more

It kind of sucks to have car insurance and only have liability. I can't afford to have the added bells & whistles including road side assistance. If your in an emergency situation and need a tow truck in Seattle that is affordable, honest, and professional. You will not be disappointed with Rapid Towing services. Even though they were the first Seattle towing company I called, after the great experience I had, they will be the last. I HIGHLY recommend this company. read more
