I had an incredibly frustrating experience with ABC Towing. Someone blocked off my car on the parking lot, and I couldn't get the car out nor find the car owner. Despite ABCs claims of monitoring this lot 24/7, their service--and their attitude--is a total joke. When I called to report an unauthorized vehicle, the attendant was beyond rude. He flatly refused to help, claiming he "couldn't tow the vehicle by law" (which seems convenient for a towing company). His "solution" was for me to go find the owner (if I could find the owner, I wouldn't need a tow truck to move the car!) To top it off, he was extremely condescending, telling me to "just look around the parking lot" like I was the one being difficult. If you're looking for professional service or actual parking enforcement, look elsewhere. These guys are clearly more interested in making excuses than doing their jobs. read more

Towing signs should be specifying the contract details per property, some properties may require the property manager to make the call to tow; however: there is no mention of this per signage. Very poor communications. The cheapest way to remedy this issue is to update your phone tree and state this descrepency. read more

I received service with 45 minutes of my request. A smiling angel appeared on New Years Eve and transported me and my pitiful car home. Naseer was excellent. You leave for work, running 2-3 minutes late, and your car is MISSING. It sucks! My car got towed last night, right across the street from my apartment--I was confused, angered, had to miss work, and shed a few tears--and yet, I am in a slightly better mood because of the woman who worked with me at ABC Towing. They have to do their job, and do so as nicely as possible. When I called, she was immediately sympathetic, listened as I vented my frustration (I have parked in that spot MANY times) and even tried to help me figure out a bus trip to ABC so I wouldn't have to pay for a cab! When I got to ABC Towing (took a cab anyway), she explained the costs and how to fight the impound fee + ticket. Meanwhile, the (good-looking) guy who towed my car came out and let me know that he didn't WANT to tow my car, but had to. Very sweet. Lastly they let me walk through their office so I didn't have to go around the gate in the rain. So now I'm warm at home, glad my car wasn't stolen, ready to fight this ridiculous impound fee, and feel much more at ease because of the good customer service I encountered. Thanks for making a horrible situation easier, ABC. P.S. -1 star because I've heard of towing companies that charge around $115; the charge was a little steep at $170. read more

Five stars is for the awesome operator and -4 stars is for the tow guy. I had a car emergency and called for a tow. The operator was super nice and very helpful. She put my worries about my teen to rest and I thought my kid would be just fine. The car was half in the street and half parked on 1st ave in downtown Seattle, a very dangerous position for a wreck. Police passed by the broken down car and no help, cars honked angrily and it was a terrible situation for a new driver. The tow guy that showed up to rescue my teen daughter late (in double the expected amount of time) he had zero personality, was not very concerned about how anxious and scared she was, expected her to pay and said could not take payment from a parent that was not there. Then he tried to convince her to tow it somewhere else other than where I arranged over the phone. He's lucky she was not more upset or hurt by him or mama bear would have been raging! Very poor customer service from tow truck driver! The good part? I did get my car towed to the right place and they put the keys in the night drop box and it cost me $225!! read more

09/07/2017 around 10pm Truck# 15, Driver did not leave name on receipt. We, family and friends will never use this company again. The driver was dishonest, rude, with aggressive foul language. My wife's car broke down, and she thought and told the operator 30 miles from downtown Seattle to our place. It was 23 miles instead. This review isn't actually about this business but more about their employees. After a night out to dinner with my son and his girlfriend we came home to find my son had locked his keys in his car. We were trying the coat hanger thing for about 45 minutes in the dark, wind and rain when a jogger came upon us and asked how long we were at it. He told us that he would jog back to his car and come back with his kit and help us if we were still at it when he returned. I want to say his name was Harvey but I'm not exactly sure. He did return and had the car opened within 10 minutes. Total lifesaver there! When I needed help to have some repairs done temporarily in order to drive it safely they quickly recommended a service company and assisted me so that I could drive my vehicle home where it belongs. Called a bunch of towing places and got a lot of voice mails or people saying it would be half a day until anyone could make it out. ABC picked up immediately and said they could send someone out in an hour but actually made it in about 30 minutes. I have a very low down sports car that could not be cranked or put into neutral towed from inside a parking garage with low clearance where it was parked up against a wall and another car. I honestly thought it might be impossible to actually get it out due to the angles involved and was worried I might get someone who didn't want the hassle. It was not easy and took some time but Curt got it out like a pro and was a pretty great guy as well. Through the process of getting the car out and the drive to the repair shop he was friendly and professional. It was a pretty tricky tow, i'm definitely impressed. I was surprised that the cost was actually pretty reasonable due to the nature of the tow. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

This place was a life saver, we had only driven a few miles from home on a Saturday night when my car died. I was able to coast over to the side of the road and start calling places, ABC told us they could get someone to us in 30 to 45 minutes. Took about 40 minutes I think, which was less time than the other places we called, but the customer service we received when he got there was the best part. Eric was super nice and helped us figure out whether we should just jump the car like my husband wanted or not and advised on local shops he could tow it to. He even ran over to the local shop to confirm if they had an overnight drop box for our car keys. Just the perfect help we needed, will definitely use them the next time I need a tow. read more

My car wouldn't start and had to be towed to my mechanic about 10 miles away. Called around different towing companies and they were all forwared to voicemails. I'm glad ABC Towing picked up! They said they can come by within 2 hours, and they did. Guy was really friendly and professional. He even took a quick look to see if he can diagnose what was wrong with the car. My car was in a carport in an alley, but he was able to get my car out with ease. He was very careful with putting my car up onto the dolly. My mechanic is a family friend so he had to tow it to a residential place. It took a while to figure out where to put the car, but he was patient and willing to try to leave the car where the mechanic wanted it. Overall very happy with the service, very professional, very efficient. I would use them again if my car ever needs towing. I recommend! read more

Great service and team. My car was parked in Capitol Hill and wasn't starting. I tried to jump it myself, but no luck. I called 5 different towing services around Seattle (at 9:30am on a Friday) and every single one went to voicemail. I guess it's a known thing that towing services avoid rush hour... ABC Towing is the best there is. Lynette is a god send. She went way above and beyond to help my mom and pop. They were stranded in Winthrop WA on the way to Seattle Washington for a Hawaii trip. She literally called 16 other tow companies trying to arrange a truck to pick up my elderly (72 and 69) parents on there cross country trip. She was able to arrange a pickup for them after 2 hours on the phone. She did this out of the kindness of her heart. Lynette could have been like the other dozen tow companies I called and told me they couldn't help but she did above and beyond even though her company wasn't making money. Boy oh boy was I lucky to have RJ from ABC towing come unlock my car, then COME BACK to jump my car, and unlock it a second time! He was very dependable, professional, and friendly! I was having a horrible day even before my car problems, but RJ helped me through it! How this place is in business is beyond me - truly incompetence at its finest. We moved into a new townhouse unit and the apparently the builders had a contract set up with them and Joe (name obviously changed) told us to contact them as there was a car in our designated parking space. I told them the situation and the man who answered the phone said he needed to check to see if we have a contract set up with them and so I said ok, can you check? You can clearly tell the man was too lazy to do his job as he said something along the lines of it was raining outside and so it would take time for one of his guys to turn on the computer (WTF? what is the correlation here??). He said he would call me back and so an hour goes by and nothing so I call back and I ask if they had an update. He then starts to get upset and asks me what my name is and that he was only authorized to speak with John (apparently he is another one of the builders who set up the contract - name changed). I stated that I was in fact the property owner and that I can verify this and to let me know what I needed to do and he kept repeating over and over he can only speak with John. I said I don't know who John is but I do know Joe and he was the one who told me to contact you. He then started to question me why I was lying about not knowing John (when I clearly stated I do not know a John but do know a Joe (for clarity - both Joe/John apparently work for the same builder but I have only been in touch with Joe). By this point in the night I was tired and frustrated to argue any more so I just hung up. I'm not sure why the man was so adamant in calling me a liar when all I was looking for was help in getting a car towed on MY property based on guidance from our builder. Customer service and competence are not a strong suit for them so if you are shopping around for options, I'd suggest you go somewhere else. read more

ABC Towing was the ONLY towing company in Seattle willing to work with me to stop the unauthorized use/abuse of our property. We own a parking spot in a condominium community. It's the best external parking spot in the community. The spot was used by many homeowners and their guests. The HOA was not willing to do anything to resolve the situation nor would they grant me the right to tow from our own property. We never knew if we were going to have a spot to park when we got home. ABC was the only company to give me a subcontract... Another towing company had the contract to the entire property and ABC to our spot only. It was miserable till ABC removed a couple vehicles from our spot. Each time we call ABC they are professional, helpful and as expedient as possible. Sure they make a lot of money off of us but they were the only one willing to listen and realize the gravity of the situation. I never thought about posting on Yelp for a towing company till we had someone towed on 5/25/2012 - the same date that Joe S. posted a stinging review about ABC here. This was the same date that we received a nasty-gram in our inbox screaming about a $340 bill. This was the same amount Joe S. claims he paid for a tow. The verbiage in Joe S's would lead one to believe that he had called for a tow; if he did and paid that much he's a fool. If he didn't call HE did something wrong and he was probably charged that much for BOTH the TOW AND IMPOUND. Too bad ABC can't tow away stupidity. read more

They said that they'd need 30 minutes to get to me and they were there in 15. The two driver was courteous, professional, and friendly. Do not use this business unless you are fine with car damage and for them not to stand behind it and call you a liar. Didn't even send anybody to come out and look at the car. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Their invoice even says they specialize in exotic cars don't believe it! I had a great experience with Curt, on of the drivers for this company. He arrived promptly and in good humor. Mine turned out to be a difficult job -- it was a truck that required him to disconnect the drive train. Curt got wet and very greasy, but stayed polite and cheerful. Great service. read more
