After waiting 7 hours (yes, 7hrs) to even be assigned a tow agency from our auto insurance, I was at my wits end and started calling around. On seafair weekend in Seattle, we knew it wouldn't be immediate - no matter what we did - but we were pretty close to ditching our car in a not-so-safe spot overnight - or sleeping in it. So I had to try. While other towing companies had an estimated arrival of multiple hours into the future, Bellevue Towing (owned by Seattle Towing) had our back. Richard said "I'll be there in 15 minutes" - his confidence & expedience absolutely shocked us. I said "are you able to quote me for a tow from Bellevue to Issaquah, because I have a maximum reimbursement rate with my insurance", and he told me. To be candid, I was skeptical that he'd hold to the rate. But this man was honest! Not only did he arrive less than 15 minutes later, have our car loaded in 5, and met us without issue at our mechanic - but he also he charged us exactly what he quoted. Richard was truly nothing but professional and friendly throughout the entire interaction. He was quick, did everything by the book, and honestly turned around a really crappy day just by being our friendly savior. I need to tow my car to a mechanic so I call them. They said the price is 220 for the first hour. I was not able to go so I ask my friend to go with one of their driver. The driver took my car to the destination in less than 1 hour, for some reason, he charged my friend 275$. My friend did not have change so she gave him $300 and he just took all of it and left without giving back any change. When I called to ask for the reason why they charge for more, each time they make up a new excuse. The first guy said that I was charged for extra 30 minutes (even though I have proof that the job was done in less than 50 minutes). The second woman said that they charge me extra because they had to use a dolly to toll a car with AWD (mine is FWD). Finally, told me that they charge me from the moment they left THEIR base. So I was charged 50$ for extra 7 minutes! Make sure you understand the way they charge carefully before booking! Their driver will intentionally come earlier 30 minutes than the scheduled time so if you are busy before the time of schedule, they can make more money from you. Some of their employees are VERY rude and even straight-up lie to you. read more

They never showed up. I called them and they stated it would take 30-40 minutes. After 50 minutes I called them. They said they would call the driver and call me back. They never called me back. So I called them back. They then said they would call the driver while I waited one hold. After 7 minutes they came back on line but never explained why the driver hadn't shown to tow the car. When I asked politely why the driver hadn't shown the dispatcher told me to fuck off and he hung up on me. The blatant incompetence and unprofessionalism was beyond pail. Rude tow truck driver doesn't know how to read the resident parking only sign and tried to leave his tow in private parking area with two large signs that read resident parking only. Then tells me to relax when I tell him to move. Like I don't tell a bunch of jerks, who don't know how to read obvious signs, on a daily basis to move their cars. So maybe I don't feel like relaxing when it's someone who literally makes his bacon off towing people's cars for not reading obvious signs. read more

A few years ago, my car died on the way to work, at a red light at the bottom of Queen Anne (what a pain). I flooded the carburator on my 50-year old project car, and no amount of effort would get it re-started. So, I called a couple of towing companies and received arrival times of 90 minutes to 2 hours. By the time I had sat at the light for about an hour, the quirky old engine fired up and I drove the rest of the way to work. Last week, a far worse situation happened - the wheel fell off of my car close to Discovery Park. My wife called a few tow places and got estimates of two hours to four hours. Then she called Seattle Towing, and they said "twenty minutes!" She told them where we were and seemed happy that we wouldn't have to wait long. I told her to snap out of it, that they only told her twenty minutes so we'd book with them. Welp. I was wrong. At about the 20-minute mark, up pulled a brand-new flatbed tow vehicle. The EXPERTISE of this driver blew my mind. We were loaded up in about 10 minutes, and he followed us to my preferred garage, where he and the mechanics unloaded my now 3-wheeled SUV right into the bay where it was immediately lifted up for repairs. I can and do recommend that you put Seattle Towing's number in your phone. Even if it takes more than 20 minutes, you will be pleased and gratified by somebody being this good at what they do. read more

They get 2 stars for getting the car to where we needed it to be. Cost $360 to literally move the car across the street and was less than 10 minutes. Then they had issues with their credit card machine which took another 15 minutes. I understand minimums but $360 is robbery. Next time I'll ask what their minimum is. read more

Great experience with a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful employee. Here's what happened... I was the only car stopped at a red light. Two blocks earlier, I had almost been hit by a large cargo van which ran a stop sign as I was turning. Sitting at the light, I was too flustered to notice the same van barreling toward my rear at 35-40 mph. At the last moment, I looked into my rear view mirror and saw the van, and then it collided with the back of the car. I got pushed into on coming traffic, and had to run the rest of the way through the red. My roommate (who was in the passenger seat) and I both got bad whiplash, but we were okay enough to pull over on the next side street. I got out to check the back, and wait for the van to stop, but it never did. It raced passed us and drove off, total hit and run on his part. Anyways, I called Seattle Towing after a friend recommended them, saying their crew gave exceptional service. I was unsure at first, I have had a few bad experiences with other local tow companies, but I read the reviews for Seattle Towing and decided to try em out. I'm really glad I did. DJ was the employee on the job. He was super cool, really fast, and made his job look easy. He was empathetic, helpful, and knowledgeable, giving me tips regarding what I would need to get my car in working order (pretty much told me everything an auto shop would be able to tell me), and then he got me towed to my mechanic. He gave me helpful advice, got the job done extra fast, and was clearly on top of his game upon arrival (which was also quick). Seattle towing is tow-tally the right choice!
