Our floors were installed only 2-3 years ago and are now cracking throughout our home. We paid to have the floors leveled as part of the installation, another contractor immediately noticed areas that weren't level and explained why the floors weren't holding up over time. Looking back, there were concerns during installation, including a suggestion to cut over six inches off a door to accommodate an issue with their work. They did come to understand why we were not willing to do that and we were grateful for that. We trusted that we were paying for quality workmanship, especially from a company that specializes in flooring. It's unfortunate to now be dealing with these problems after such a short amount of time. We've reached out about our concerns and never received a response.

I remember that I called earlier and he asked me to come by the showroom and I was horrified to leave the house. Everything looked on schedule until I changed my mind about the color of the floor (I blame the color deal on the pregnancy because I am not insecure in those types of decisions). I remember how I called Rhonda about to cry because I changed my mind. We needed to keep the timeline because of the baby and things in Austin were just getting worst with COVID. I can share with you that they made my floors happen in the original timeline. I am not sure how it happened, but they made it all work and I am now very in love with my floors. With all the problems that occurred, including delay after delay, (not his fault), we finally got through it. We have a beautifully installed floor!!! Also, he did not take final payment until he came through the house inspecting the work the crew did making sure everything was not only up to his standards but, ours as well. It took a little time to get the closest match but Bob was nice enough to come out twice to drop off two different floor samples. However, I was craving a bit more communication on their end. Bob is very responsive to messages which I appreciate but this was a job at an unoccupied home (belonging to my parents) with a hidden key so I did want more updates (especially with my folks constantly asking me). I did not receive notification of job start or finish. I had to reach out to get that. I didn't find out that the job was completed until the following day. I received an immediate reply to my messages which is nice but like I said, I'd have preferred more proactive communication. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Ultimately, a pleasant experience and we're all happy with the results.
