This is by far the best place to get info and help. Tami was the lady I talked to and with no hesitation and 20 plus years of experience she gave me step by step instructions on how and what to do with our pool. She was in no shape or form rude. No hint of irritation or of being annoyed or just too busy as I had gotten from the other 4 places I called including the company that actually put the pool in in the first place. We called this place after seeing the good reviews on yelp. My husband had to call several times before he spoke to someone after a week of calling. They came out the next day, let us know we needed to buy a new pump and sweeper, and it would be cheaper if we ordered it online and had them put it in. Well we did exactly that, which we appreciate them trying to save us money. Unfortunately when we called to have them install it they never came out. Like EVER!! No phone call to reschedule, and they didn't even bother to return our phone calls. Look I know it's summer and they are busy, but that is just poor customer service. That was two days ago and still no call. But I guess it was for the best, since my husband you tubed how to install it and got it going himself. Now HE deserves a 5 star. Sorry Superior that is one thing you're not. 7/13/14- update on my review Finally contacted by the owner via yelp yesterday. If you can see my compliments section please go to see her remarks. Since I would not want to unfairly quote her. But I will address some comments she made in her remarks 1. She says she helped my husband over the phone 5 times. Uh no my husband had to keep calling that many times to get answers. 2. She says they came out for free. Yes you're right you did come out for free and let us know what needed to be done. We were not expecting it to be free. Why didn't you charge a service call? It's your business you have the right to do that. 3. She said she had a personal issue arise and I'm assuming this is why we never heard from them. Ok here is my issue with that. I'm sorry you had something happen to you, but you run a place of business and when you schedule an appointment to have someone come out on a Saturday to install something that they were going to get PAID TO DO, and they never show up, never call, don't return phone calls, that is not good business. They could have called three weeks later and let us know they had a personal issue and they were sorry that this happened. We would have understood this. But instead the owner decided to contact thru a yelp compliment and leave her not so nice message there I've been contacted by management before on reviews and it was pretty much apologizing and asking for feedback. But this must be a new thing. Contacting via a "compliment" and going off on me. My advise to you is don't look at yelp if you can't handle ONE BAD FEEDBACK out of the four you have. read more

It doesn't get better than Superior Pool. We've used them for close to 10 years with the exception of the time I thought I 'd save money and do the chemicals myself. Boy was I wrong. You don't save money and it just takes too much time. Let the pros do it!! Dewayne and his crew are not only knowledgeable but they are professional and polite. I refer everyone I know looking for pool service to Superior Pool because when my equipment acts funny or the weather changes and my pool looks funny, all I have to do is call and they are here that day or the next. So it took me a few times to actually get in contact with somebody but when I did they were great. I got my pool drained and a chlorine wash as well as start up chemicals They were great and did an excellent job. I have a 10 ft large pool without a spa and paid $600 for my services. read more

I called these guys when my husband let our pool go green...6 years ago. And they are still doing a fantastic job. Dwayne and his helpers are some of the most honest and polite people I've ever met. They make recommendations when things need to be replaced but keep them going as long as they can. They take care of everything, including maintenance, cleaning, and chemicals. I don't have to worry about anything. All we have to do is swim! Our pool looks great and we've gotten some help with our new spa. Called Superior Pool Service to properly install a new motor and unit which Certified Pool Service (Rey Molina) had come out previously to only canabalize my new unit and installed the motor, leaving the casing and filter and the leaky pvc pipes to the side. When I called him back to complain, he said it would be another $250. I hung up on the sucker knowing there are other methods to get satisfaction; this Yelp and Angie's list. Superior came out within two days, and fully installed the unit, repaired the pvc pipes, and now the pool is running as it should. Excellent service here, folks! As for Certified, let your pool go green before even think of calling them out! read more

We hired Superior Pools last year. My fiancé thought he could manage the pool on his own. Boy was that a mistake. We then tried someone new after that. Superior Pool Service are the best people. I started off with a green pool a few years back and they got it sparkling blue within two days. Their rates are excellent and very competitive. Their customer service is like no other! Tami and Dwayne always come to the rescue when a pool issue arises (leak, pump not working properly, timer malfunction). Very knowledgeable people. I have no complaints with them. When I bought my house the prior owner had another pool company and they were not anywhere as nice, professional or knowledgeable as Superior Pool Service. I am not having a good experience. For the beginning there are communication issues. The technician does not show up when the office says he is coming. I feel mistreated. Dwayne has been cleaning my pool for almost 15yrs now. I have been very pleased with his service. He has a couple of guys that work for him. and his wife, Tammy is their bookkeeper and she is very sweet. It's a true testament to their hard work and excellent customer service that they have kept their small business going strong for 45yrs. I have only had one price increase in all of this time and that was over 10yrs ago. I agree with the other reviewer that Dwayne takes care of everything to do with your pool. He can fix just about anything and make sure that you get your money's worth out of all of the working parts. They have become almost like part of my family over the years.
