The product arrived damaged in a location that, according to Cambria themselves, could not have been caused by the customer. It was clearly damaged during installation. Despite this, after months of back and forth communication, StoneOne has refused to take accountability or help resolve the issue. We've had to deal directly with Cambria to address the problem. It's been stressful, time-consuming, and entirely avoidable had they handled things professionally. Beware--our experience reflects a serious lack of customer care and responsibility.

I must say that I was impressed with the designer with whom they work, Anna Orfanides. I told her what style I was looking for, and Anna knocked it out of the park. While it was merely a galley kitchen in a Brookline condo, Anna envisioned a design that made it much more functional, timeless, and chic. Hilary Farr would be impressed. Ryaan and team are highly detail oriented. There was one incident where there was a problem with some of the lighting materials. While some contractors would have taken a shortcut and simply have installed the lighting as is, Ryaan and his electrician Chris, who was a perfectionist, made sure that the vendor was held accountable, and they refused to install the product until the issue was resolved with the manufacturer. It should also be noted that Ryaan and team are in constant communication from the project inception until the very end. Kristina, the project manager, is unbelievably responsive. You really can get in touch with her around the clock. The workmanship is impeccable, and it's the first project I've done with a nonexistent punch list. Ryaan took care of small details before I even mentioned them. Finally, I want to add that they are just nice people. I really do think animals are the best judges of character. My dog is a Lhasa Apso, and there are some people he just doesn't like. I was worried that there would be lots of barking and growling throughout the project. However, that was not the case. My dog took a liking to the project team from the beginning. There was no barking and growling. If he can trust them, so can I. It was a wonderful experience, and they really have earned five stars. Hired them to do some pergo type flooring. Before hiring them I told them several times my floor…read morewasn't level and the only reason I wasn't doing it myself and was hiring them was because the floor needed to be leveled first. The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Victor's team are all highly skilled and take pride in their work. They demolished the old porch, removed all debris, and built us a brand new one. They fixed the siding the old one had messed up. They replaced the gutters with new ones. They patched up the newly-exposed part of the chimney. Every last detail. I also didn't have to hassle Victor to get a permit; he just did it. Which is such a baseline expectation it shouldn't make him stand out amongst his competition. Sadly, it very much does. Whenever you take on a home remodeling project like this, you have a picture in your mind of what you want. For this project, we had really specific ideas, a mix of old and new, materials and techniques. Which is normal. And it never turns out that way. Not once in all the renovation and rebuilding projects I've done over the years. Reality just doesn't live up to imagination. So I don't know how to put this in terms that will communicate how rare and remarkable it is. Our porch is exactly right. It is exactly what we wanted, and looks exactly how we imagined it. I don't think there's any possible stronger recommendation I can give than that. We couldn't be happier. We moved into our condo in 2021 and had replaced the old and rotting planks with composite soon…read moreafter we moved in; however, we were most interested in revitalizing the roof deck altogether - the railing and posts were rotted and had peeling paint, and we had minimal privacy when hosting friends and family. After speaking with several contractors, we were fortunate enough to find Leo, who gave the roof deck a complete facelift! We initially hired Leo to update the siding of our top deck and replace the door leading to the bottom deck. During our first consultation meeting with him, he had brainstormed many design concepts and ideas we had not even thought of that we ultimately went with - we highly appreciated the creativity and effort to make our image a reality. He was incredibly communicative, and we really felt like we were working as a team. We ended up having him replace the railing of our upper deck and added a privacy wall with a beautiful design. He handcrafted the railing and involved us in every step of the design process. He also replaced rotting wood that was exposed beneath the siding, fixed a broken outlet, and completely replaced a rotting window frame. He also put in place LED light strips beneath the railing to create a sense of ambience we didn't even realize we were looking for! Leo was always very transparent with the timing of each phase of this project as well as any associated costs. Leo went above and beyond and returned twice after our final payment to add some minor touch ups to ensure the deck was as picture-perfect as can be! We have many upcoming projects in our new home and hope to work with Leo on all of them. We have already begun brainstorming together what we can do with our bottom deck. We would recommend Leo a thousand times over and are looking forward to collaborating with him again!
