Dropped off our winter coats to be dry cleaned at Superior. They told me they would be ready by the weekend. As promised, the garments were ready by the time promised. The price was $64 for five coats. They were able to remove the musty smell, which was the objective. Since this is so close to home, this will be our go-to dry cleaner here on out. After a year of having my clothes serviced here, I am changing my review. Sorry, Superior Cleaners. You have done me wrong too many times. More than once I have experienced the following: altered items being cleaned but not altered at scheduled pick-up time, credit card machine being down, misplaced items, and pants coming back with creases after I've asked a dozen times for no crease. Each of these missteps has required an additional trip for me and more time waiting for my items. I have no more patience and have taken my business elsewhere. I had tried the Medina location and was very disappointed in the quality. The clothes came back with a terrible chemical odor. I had to take them somewhere else to get them cleaned again. I gave them one more chance, having 6 ties cleaned. The charge $40.00. The quality, again very poor. Will never use this company again. They ruined clothes of mine... several shirts that I had cleaned several times with another dry cleaner. Same shirts went to this place and came back with chemical spots, faded, shrunk and ruined.. Owner claimed it was a manufacturer defect and refused to even refund what he billed me much less replace anything they destroyed. He was a complete JERK!!! Stay away. read more

My first time there i brought in 2 sets of drapes. What a waste got them back ,suppose to be pleated but when i got them back they were all wrinkled. Absolutely rediculous ,,they charge you 2.25 per pleat but no pleatez in mine now. I have to go buy new drapes. read more

Ok, I really tried to give Superior (ha) a chance, but alas, they have fooled me too many times. The first issue concerned a shirt that had pleating down the front. It's supposed to be ironed flat, well, my shirt came back looking like a tuxedo shirt from the 70's. When I asked the girl to fix it, she replied "What's wrong with it?" Ummm...Then I told this same girl that I needed to update my address in the system and she interrupted me and rudely asked "Is this your address or not?" After returning it for the second time, it was still in bad shape. Karen, the manager, asked if she wanted it to be pressed again. Really??? I should probably add that I spend in excess of $125/month on my dry cleaning. If I am going to spend this much money, I expect exemplary service. Second issue...I took in a pair of pants to be altered. I noticed (quite some time later) that the pants were missing in my closet. The pants still had the tags on them, so I really was unhappy. When I asked several people, including Karen, the manager, they claimed that they had no record of them and that there was nothing they could do. Well, as it just so happens I know someone who works there. Miraculously, the pants were found. Third issue, I just picked up a pair of pants yesterday to wear. The tag to replace the button was still attached and the button had not been reattached. As I said earlier, I spend entirely too much money expecting my clothes to be returned (quantity and quality) dry cleaned and repaired. I don't think I'm asking too much for the amount of money I pay. I could go to one of the $.99 dry cleaners, but I have had my clothes ruined one too many times at those places. And last but not least, the amount of turnover at this place is ridiculous. Maybe I was spoiled by my last dry cleaners who knew my name after the first time I dropped of my clothes. read more

To all the lovely people who work at Superior Dry Cleaners, I have always felt welcome and accepted, even if I have had a bad day..the young people who work there usually greet me by name with a smile on their face..I have never had issues with my cleaning and it is always done usually before the time they give you..Love the emails too that say the dry cleaning is ready...Like the drive thru especially on cold winter days...Karen, owner is always working so hard but usually stops for a quick hello to her customers..and lastly, so grateful that in a pinch I remember one time I could not make it up there and one of the nicest ladies said "no problem, I can drop your cleaning off to you on my way home"..Now that is great personal service... read more

Horrible seamstress, horrible. You'd be better off to stitch your a hole yourself. I've seen better quality done by home ec students in high school. Don't ever bring anything there that you need repaired. Unless you want to be able to see the threading and it to be wonky. She also must only use white thread because to stitch something grey she used white thread. You would think a seamstress had a variety of thread colors. Terrible quality a total rip off. I am so sad. We have used Superior Cleaners since they opened here in Medina. I am extremely particular about cleaners because it is one of the way I worked my way through college. I know how difficult this business is and how customers service is the first responsibility. Three weeks ago I came to claim my winter coat promptly and they had given my laundry to another person. He was unable to return my laundry till yesterday. I asked that they bring it to me but it was inconvenient for the cleaner to return it to me. But they were able to cash my check. It was always the person who took my laundry's fault. Never did they take responsibility for the mixed up. While they were unable to expedite my service they did cash my check even before I had my laundry. They gave me a $30 credit after taking $19 from me. I see this only as an $11 credit. So long a faithful customer treated badly. read more

Doors are always open and the staff are always giving you a smile. I have ran into no problems with them until today. I went to pick up my ideas and printed off the Internet the town money saver coupons. There was 8 pages. I found a 20% off coupon which did not specify what it was specifically intended for. I tried to use it for my $27.00 purchase and was told the bar code is not scanning. The young girl asked for help who that lady had to ask for help. A grumpy man was then approached and when the lady returned I was told that was for comforters and bed spreads and that this coupon could not be used. A manager could had over rode that. I even asked if they have other coupons that would work and was told I needed to have the coupon in hand. I will give them another chance just frustrated that their manager could not come up front to talk with the customer. Most stores...customers are always right. read more

OK, so every year I take in my nice, church going and vacation duds to be laundered or dry cleaned here. This middle-class individual usually expects to pay anywhere from $50-$80. You can expect my surprise when the nice clerk rang up a bill for $114.00. I feel that the pain from a bill of laundering nice,fun and vacation type shirts that $100+ should be broken up into 2 visits. Makes explaining WHY I spent so much a little more doable. Anyway, I was astonished to see my 16 shirts with that price tag. At pickup, when I investigated the tags with the clerk and when the clerk and I further researched all the tags of my shirts state;" Machine wash cold" and "Gentle Cycle", yet they were "Dry-Cleaned" we figured that they were "Dry Cleaned" instead of just laundered and pressed. I mentioned (nicely, I may add) that the tags clearly say one thing (machine wash), yet another was done (dry-cleaned). This can be roughly a $5 difference per shirt, give or take. The clerk said she would pass this information/complaint along and someone would get back to me. That day was today and I just got off the phone with Karen who, admittedly cried foul and that there was an error from their side and recognized that the charge was made in error and that there is a store credit in my favor to the tune of $50+. A wrong, righted. An error manned-up. A satisfied customer. Everyone makes mistakes. They did the right thing in my particular case. For that, I'll continue to use their services. read more
