She worked on my wedding dress for over a month and completely ruined it. I am pregnant and at that time I was about 28wks just belly: the dress literally still fit me I just needed the hip area and a little bit of the zipper altered . I bought all of the material from the designer all she had to do was alter it. Complete disaster , what should have been my last fitting was a nightmare the zipper was sowed crooked and she tried to say that maybe it was because my baby was laying a certain way or that I am crooked . I was in tears. I left the dress with her to fix the zipper (two days before the wedding) but honestly the dress was messed with so many times that little stitches were sticking out some of the flower designs were not flat and when I brought this up to her she said I don't know you brought the dress to me. The cup size she added were sooooo big that it didn't fit me I have small breasts even pregnant my bridesmaid had to tape me all around my breast and armpit area it was such a hot day that the dress wasn't sticking to the tape and my breasts kept showing because the cups were soo heavy and big I am pretty sure a lot of people saw my nipples. I had to hold my breast area ALL day . And not to mention getting irritated from the tape and sweat all day was so miserable. I cringe at the thought of looking at my wedding pictures .

And now I have one of those casual-but-perfect dresses that I can throw on in and head out the door in a minute knowing that I look a little fabulous. ...I have never been so lucky to have this type of experience with a tailor before I met Miss Yoon. She had a completely different vision from me with the dress I just brought in, but when I explained the specific things I really wanted (keep the pockets, make it smaller in every way without adding a zipper so I could still just pull it over my head to put on), she was 100% on board, rolled up her sleeves, and delivered dress perfection. I can't believe how skilled and kind she is and I truly can't recommend her enough -- really. I live in NYC but whenever I'm visiting my in-laws, Miss Yoon is going to see me!!! And all of this happened because I needed help tailoring my wedding dress back in 2020 and a different tailor completely scoffed at my idea for my wedding dress. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have crossed paths with Miss Yoon back then. With Miss Yoon's help, I ended up with my dream dress and I really can't thank her enough! We put two dresses together that I found on poshmark -- she's brilliant and offered such a fair price for such detailed work! After working with her multiple times now, I get the sense that she brings not only technical expertise but also creative artistry to her work, because every single time I have brought a piece to her, she makes it into the best possible version of what it could be! She also excelled in tailoring my husband's rented tux, it looked like she made it for him from scratch when really we just rented it! Every piece she has worked on for us has been just incredible -- Miss Yoon is incredibly fast, her work is unfaultable, she always wants to hear your thoughts but will also offer her expertise, which I love, and the price is just incredible.
