Problem was, it was literally the last one in the store and online, and it was a few sizes too big in every possible way. I bought it with confidence and brought it to Miss Yoon, who NAILED IT. And now I have one of those casual-but-perfect dresses that I can throw on in and head out the door in a minute knowing that I look a little fabulous. ...I have never been so lucky to have this type of experience with a tailor before I met Miss Yoon. She had a completely different vision from me with the dress I just brought in, but when I explained the specific things I really wanted (keep the pockets, make it smaller in every way without adding a zipper so I could still just pull it over my head to put on), she was 100% on board, rolled up her sleeves, and delivered dress perfection. I can't believe how skilled and kind she is and I truly can't recommend her enough -- really. I live in NYC but whenever I'm visiting my in-laws, Miss Yoon is going to see me!!! And all of this happened because I needed help tailoring my wedding dress back in 2020 and a different tailor completely scoffed at my idea for my wedding dress. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have crossed paths with Miss Yoon back then. With Miss Yoon's help, I ended up with my dream dress and I really can't thank her enough! We put two dresses together that I found on poshmark -- she's brilliant and offered such a fair price for such detailed work! After working with her multiple times now, I get the sense that she brings not only technical expertise but also creative artistry to her work, because every single time I have brought a piece to her, she makes it into the best possible version of what it could be! She also excelled in tailoring my husband's rented tux, it looked like she made it for him from scratch when really we just rented it! Every piece she has worked on for us has been just incredible -- Miss Yoon is incredibly fast, her work is unfaultable, she always wants to hear your thoughts but will also offer her expertise, which I love, and the price is just incredible. Again called my MIL crying had her come back with me the following day, ( when I first dropped it off,) now I've picked up my dress and I'm just so disappointed I let this women cut up my dress. I went online and found Alterations Express right on Royalton Road in Strongsville, and I am beyond impressed. Susanna, the manager, was absolutely outstanding. I walked in, explained the situation, and within 15 minutes my pants were fixed and ready to go for the wedding. Not only was Susanna amazing, but her entire staff was professional, pleasant, and incredibly helpful. However, I am now a forever customer and advocate after my experience here with my wedding dress this summer. After being literally laughed at by multiple bridal alteration shops in the Cleveland area for the timeframe I needed my dress (2 months-which, yes, I realize IS a tight timeframe) Alterations Express in Strongsville, and specifically Suhad, came to the rescue and got it done in just a few weeks. Suhad was incredible, she made me feel totally confident throughout the entire process and made my wedding dress, which was my favorite dress I've ever seen- into my favorite dress I've ever worn. It was complicated, intricate lace detail, fringe and tassels- but I knew Suhad had it more than covered. She is a true professional who seems to genuinely loves what she does, and imparts that confidence and trust into her bridal customers. Really disheartening…read more Got my wedding dress steamed and pressed only. My mom picked up the dress yesterday and when she opened the bag at home, she called me crying. The dress has more wrinkles in it than when I dropped it off, they broke my garment bag zipper, and overall the dress is worse than when I initially dropped it off. I immediately drive into town to take a look as I live 2 hours away. My wedding is in just a few days. I call to see if I can speak to a manager and I'm told he won't be in until tomorrow. This morning, I bring in pictures of the dress and ask for my money back. The manager was extremely rude, his employee claims the bag was broke when I dropped it off, and says their work is professionally done. He then says I'm just trying to get my money back and he won't do that. First off, the bag was not broke when I dropped it off. That is when I knew I couldn't trust them. As you said, a garment bag is only $5 so why would you lie about this? You had safety pins to keep the bag closed. What women would drop off her wedding dress in a bag like that? Secondly, you claim these are "minor" issues and that you don't see a problem. You talked down to me. You didn't care your work was not to my satisfaction. I will not bring this dress back since this is the level of care you treated it with the first time around. My father was able to break through to the manager and he finally offers for us to bring the dress back tomorrow for them to fix it (not today, which he said is none of my business as to why they cannot handle this issue today). Keep the money, you'll need it if this is the level of customer service and quality of work you provide. I will gladly take my dress elsewhere and pay a rush fee so you do not touch my dress again.

I had about 8 shirts cleaned there. They put their tags on the bottom of each shirt, which poked…read moreholes in the shirts. They didn't even ask me if it was ok, before they put holes in my shirts. They also "tried" to clean another jersey and shirt of mine. When they couldn't get the stains out, they didn't offer any sort of refund or price deduction for those 2 items. Other shirts they "cleaned" had a weird sticky/dry feel. I'll never use this business again.
