I started going to this cleaner for convenience. The seemed to do a good job on my husbands custom suits. I took 5 or 6 of my husbands custom dress shirts. they were brand new, only worn once or twice and very expensive shirts. We paid $250 per shirt To have them made. I picked them up from the cleaner and there was black ink or grease on all of them In about the same spot. It was clear they had grease on their press. I pointed it out and they were dismissing it but agreed to get it out. I went back to pick them up and the grease was still in some spots and now the expensive fabric was clearly rubbed with something to try to get the stains out. I told them that unfortunately they would have to replace the 4 shirts. Over $1000 for replacement. They said the owner would call us that day to talk to us. They never did. I called again the next day and was told they will call today. I always want to support a small business but if we have to go to small claims court we will just on the principle of it. They do not hand press shirts either so they are wrinkled. Not a great place. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my daughters dress to be hemmed there for a formal dance. My receipt stated it would be done on 5/3- when I called in the morning on 5/11 I was told by the owner she would call me when it was finished. My daughters dance was in two days (on 5/13) so we really needed the dress back. I called again on 5/12 in the afternoon (about 3:00) wanting to pick it up. She couldn't find her dress and had to reach out to the seamstress. After several more phone calls and pictures sent to the owner so she could try and locate the dress by what it looked like, I finally was told it was found. At 7:15 that evening I was able to pick up the dress. When we got home I took it out of the bag to look at it I was appalled! Whoever did the work had NO idea what they were doing (see pictures below). The hem was uneven all around the dress, it puckered and bunched in places and didn't lay flat, and the front was about 1.5 inches shorter than the back- and dragged on the ground and was catching on her shoes when she walked. I then had to go to Joanne fabrics to get hem tape to try and make it wearable for my daughters dance the next day- since it was 10 days late and the dance was the next day I had no time to get it fixed). The owner offered later that evening (through a txt) to have the seamstress come in the morning to fix it. I declined that offer as I work full time and could not take off work AND I didn't want the person who already screwed it up to completly ruin the $150 dress and for it to not repairable. I asked for a full refund and reimbursement for the hem tape I had to buy to make the dress wearable. The owner initially tried to argue that this is what I asked for but finally agreed to refund me and said she would mail me a check, that was more than a week ago and I have not received it. I'm thankful there seems to be enough fabric left from the botched hem job to get it done the right way. I'm now seeing that this is not an isolated incident, several people have shared with me that they have had similar experiences here! The job was 10 days late, they lost her dress, the hem job was a complete disaster and they have not refunded me! read more

If I could give zero stars that would be my endorsement. Took a white jones of New York shirt to be cleaned, pressed and starched. I am not sure any of the above was done to my shirt. Sent it back and waited a week to get it back. It was so bad I just took it to another dry cleaner and the young man looked at the shirt and he said he could have done better!!! I spoke with someone from The cleaners and they said they did their best..,, wow at $7.49 I would think you would at least press it. Not a fan and they lost my business read more

For some reason I had this feeling that I should call the day before I needed it and it hadn't even been cleaned yet!! Took in my very old leather and suede jacket to have a zipper replaced on November 24, 2020; quoted a good price on the zipper replacement; so I decided to get it cleaned. The counter person as pleasant and explained the replacement of the zipper; the told me exactly what the cleaning process would be. Even told me that some of the "stains" may not come off because of the age of them... and that it would take about 2 weeks. Picked up the jacket on 12/08/2020. My luggage was damaged when we flew into Cleveland Hopkins. Not knowing that we had to make a claim for zipper damage right then we waited until we got home. The airline refused to help so I called Jonesy's Cleaners. They not only got it fixed for us quickly but it was very inexpensive. Thanks Jonesy's now I don't have buy new luggage. read more

I chose this company based on the reviews. I regret that decision. In all of the years I have been taking my clothes in to be dry cleaned, I have never spent as much as Jonesy's charged for my clothes. I typically take a month's worth of cleaning in at a time, and spend about $100 - $130. My total at Jonesy's was $190. That was the beginning of the shockingly bad experience. Now I have to share exactly why I am so disappointed in my experience. First, when I picked up my clothes, the clerk told me I should start taking some of my clothes out to the car because I had so much to carry. Really??? The sign on the door say "curbside service." Once I looked at the clothes at home, 5 of my "pressed" shirts were clipped together causing the sleeves to wrinkle. Then one of the shirts which has pleating that should lay flat looked like one of those 70's tuxedo shirts. I called to complain, and the next morning, Cindy, the owner called me. My experience with any service-related companies here is ridiculous. I pay more for services and receive the worst customer service. When I expressed this to Cindy, she said that she took exception to this. In the meantime, I have take my shirts back to the cleaners to be fixed, but then I also found two pressed shirts in between two jackets. When I confronted Cindy about this, she told me that was not supposed to happen. I responded by telling her that I should have to explain how clothes should be organized to a dry cleaning business. Good dry cleaner, great for alterations! Recently I needed a same day alteration, on an expensive dress. Their seamstress did a fabulous job...and they certainly could have upcharged me for a rush order, (as many other DO), but they didn't...and what they did charge was very reasonable! I think their dry cleaning prices are very fair, but most importantly, if I invest in a piece of clothing that is "dry clean only", I want to trust who I hand them over to! I have always had a great experience here. read more
